Im 17 😬😬 sorry for not gving you more details I didnt wanted to be long. We kinda met one time when i was at my best friends grandmas house and he was playing basketball at the basketball court across the house and my best friend knows him, he didi introduced him self to me and I did sme thing but that was it, and also he bascially adds everyone on snap, and even have his snap in his insta bio, and I just realise know that he have really have snap svore wich doesnt have to mean anything but still
Sorry to be blunt but he's not interested, he would have responded if he was. you are looking too much into small things trying to find a glimmer of hope. Admire him from afar if you wish but don't keep sending him messages. Also, to add. Just because two people like F1 doesn't mean that they are soulmates.

I wouldn't waste time on him he doesn't seem interested don't take it too much to heart though , do you have any youth groups in your area ? I think that's a far better way to make friends than over snapchat .

You’re so young and will have so many opportunities to make friends. (I don’t mean this patronising btw).
Just let friendships form naturally. If he sees your stories and is interested in chatting to you, he will.
But please don’t go out of your way to make him notice you. You’ll attract the right friends by just being yourself ❤

I'm so glad we never had SM when I was 17. I detest how young people live their lives through it nowadays ( including my own ) .I think it holds you back in so many ways .

We had MSN and Bebo when I was 17. Facebook had only just come out but hardly no one used it. No one had a smart phone, so we could only take photos and message each other via text. That’s if we had enough credit 🤣

I agree I’m so glad there wasn’t a social media craze when I was young.

I think the likes of Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat definitely do hold people back from the real world. It’s as if the younger generation can’t communicate properly without it And the fact it’s called “social” media, it seems to make people feel lonelier.

Exactly ! does nothing for self confidence especially if you’re not part of the cliquey group chats etc , more disadvantages than advantages imo , can’t beat face to face conversation’s .

I think I had my drink spiked last night. I was out for a drink after dinner with my husband, one of my drinks was left to the side for a bit. He said it was like someone flicked a switch on me - I basically passed out all of a sudden and then started throwing up when I got home (I have never thrown up while drunk before). I feel dreadful today, like a hangover but times 10. Any suggestions as to how to feel better

My god hope you feel better soon ,have you reported it to the police ? I was just reading on our local FB a woman and her friend were in a Belfast establishment (she didn't name it ) and someone spiked her drink she was in an awful state had passed out ,throwing up and completely disorientated along with other things she wouldn't disclose, her friend helped her to the toilets and then reported it to the doorstaff and they put both of them to the street and wouldn't let them back inside ,she has reported to the police but put a warning out for others to be really vigilent with their drinks.

I havent no as tbh I dont think it would be taken seriously. I was out in Belfast too, thats dreadful how that woman was treated. It sounds so similar to me - I have been quite drunk before but my husband says it wasn't like that, it was so dramatic the shift, and as I say I never ever throw up. I have only been spiked once before when I was a student and it was similar to that. Thank goodness she had her friend, Im so grateful for my husband but feel guilty as he had to take care of me. I think Im just going to drink a lot of water and stay in bed for today.

It would definitely be worth telling the venue manager about it. They have a duty of care connected to the license.

There may even be cctv footage.

What possesses people to do these things in the first place ,I'd still make a report tbh ,just take it easy and see how you go :(

Has anyone ever had problems with a company running a compitition and then not paying out what the prize is?

So last October this company ran a compitition to win tickets to the harry potter studios for best pumpkin, mine won an they were very fast at contacting me for details

This is where the problems arose, they told me start of November that I'd won, we sent a few messages back an forth with what date I'd like an what ticket version I wanted (two adults an two kids or three adults an one kid) so I let them know which I wanted an my date an they said they would get them booked an get back to me, it went silent from there, I sent numerous messages asking what was happening between November an January as my date was February I'd picked an had no answer nor no sign of any tickets

They told me that they had been waiting on my reply for my details, now twitter shows when a message has been read so I know they had read it the day I sent the date I wanted, ever message after that had been ignored an they said they hadn't seen any of them so gave me a email to talk with them an to pick new dates as it was too late for February now

Now I've sent emails to them with new dates an again after the one they asked for my details it's went silent again, I phoned the studios this time an they said tickets would be within 48 hours if it was email an no longer than 14 days for mail, it's been over a month an still no tickets nor any reply an the date I picked is for next month

So now am left wondering what to do, I need to book hotel an travel but cannot do that till I have confirmation that they are booked but at the same time its getting closer an closer an it will get more expensive to book the closer it is

Are there any official things I can do legal wise? Like what happens if a competition won't pay out what's been promised, the company is legit by the looks of it so it doesn't seem like it was a scam set up out the blue by someone

Thanks, wasn't sure if they would be right or not, like am not sure if most would just tell me it must be a scam an to forget it, but honestly am getting more an more dissapointed, I seriously want to get out to the studios an paying for London will be expensive as it is without having to pay out for tickets

I think they deal with all types of things from benefits to consumer issues ,it's worth a try anyway ...so rotten when these companies don't respond a reply isn't much to ask ,hope you get it sorted so you can enjoy your trip.

Thanks, I feel like I just keep hounding them with emails both the one they sent me an still on twitter but it's always when they ask for details they go silent on me, I know the emails have all been sent as well so it's not as if they aren't getting them, I just don't understand what the problem is, they said that was what the prize was an it isn't like I picked a date for next week which would be hard to make happen, am picking weeks in advanced

Cat owner problem!
we have a young cat who goes out durinf the day, she wakes up around 430 climbing over us….I let her out N get back in bed till 7 when I hear her at the front door. She has started to wake up early! Last night it was 215 she started! I ignored her for as long as possible (husband is a light sleeper so wasn’t impressed) she eventually settled down on me at 3! N woke up at 4! So let her out!
im hopin it’s just a phrase cos I don’t want her to be a night time outside cat!
any advice on how to cope with a early riser cat n how to stop worrying about her once she isoutside. She is my baby!
Sorry fir the essay! X

I can imagine the frustration when you're only looking to clarify your tickets ,just see what CA recommend and take it from there ,it's strange they'd contact winners to then ignore them  unless they've got a really lazy employee .
