I can’t get the details of who it is, they won’t give them to me. But I honestly don’t think I hit any car, I’ve got no damage on my car. But they’re then saying I’ve hit it, the car park was pretty empty and there was nobody around to even witness it. So I’m wondering if they’re just trying to claim for precious damage or something. My insurance said unless they’ve got concrete proof it won’t hold.

I’ve got told to not admit anything or say I was at the Asda
But you were at the Asda, no?

I'd just think of it this way - if someone hit your car you'd expect and want them to be honest about it to get it resolved.

Right, I'm not that's a real thing but ok. If you have so many bins, they shouldn't all be full. We have two (not including the garden) and get fortnightly collections and they are never full. Are you putting stuff in the right bin to spread it out?

You don't have to pay for your brown bin, its an extra. It all depends who collects the garden waste, ours gets done by Biffa so we get a collection 50 weeks a year but my old council only did them April to October.
Of course my family must be just making it up then 🙄🙄 yes we do pay an no there's no "extras" here our council unfortunately works on greed so yes I am left paying for bins to be emptied, an yes I put things in the right bin, they are just ridiculous slim an I am certainly paying no £100 for bigger sizes, an some houses here don't even get the bins free, the persimmon houses had to pay for theirs at the end of my street

Only council homes get stuff free here

Do you get charged for foreign transactions in ROI with a British card? I was last in Dublin 2020 but can't remember for the life of me lol. Just weighing up how many euros to buy. Also how are they on cash there, do they still accept most places? (I know they went a bit Covid mad)
If you card provider charges for transactions outside of the UK then yes.

I’m laughing at myself because now you’ve said it to me I think it’s so obvious as to why I feel so exhausted all the time 🤣 Sometimes you just need someone to give you a reality check to realise! I’m unsure as to how much of everything I should eat. I’m going to order one of those huge water bottles otherwise I won’t stick to it!
Look at the NHS eat well guides to advise you on what/how much you should be eating and keep in mind that you will probably need to eat more than is stated because of your job. Don’t go over board with water - even a pint when you get up/with breakfast, another at lunch and another at dinner would be better than nothing. How long have you been vegan for?

Random question since we haven’t been abroad since before covid! Going to Turkey for 7 days all inclusive on a resort me and my 2 kids Iv already bought floats and sun cream etc sooo my question is will 5000 lira be enough for a week? It’s about £260 roughly.. and then £100 for airport for there and back food or whatever (will be taking lots of food too incase if delays) money is super tight since the inflation and I’m also starting maternity a couple of weeks before we go..

Can anyone help me identify the song of one of the Gusto adverts? I know it and I can't place it, and it's bothering me so much .

It's quite rocky and energetic , then there's male vocals right at the end. I asked my husband and he suggested Lenny Kravitz but it's not .
There’s a few different snippets of songs in the ad all listed in this link here but the main song is as already posted (Enola Gay)

Maybe a bizarre request but maybe someone can help? I walk a lot during my commute and it is wearing down my decent shoes. I don’t want to wear gym trainers on my way because it looks odd and easily makes holes in my tights by the heel. What other comfy trainer type shoes can I wear? I don’t want something clumpy, but definitely a trainer as opposed to shoe as I feel like my feet aren’t supported and hurt if I wear regular work shoes. I was thinking converses but I was wondering if anyone had any better suggestions. ☺
Nike Airmax, cannot recommend enough! I walk a lot and these are so kind on my feet plus I think they are nice to look at. I know they can be pricey but I always buy them in the sales as I don’t mind what colour they are

I completely get where you’re coming from and I would literally think the same but it’s not even like he’s even messaging so I don’t get how it would keep me around if he’s just unblocking me and not even talking to me. Like I snitch to his girlfriend before he completely blocked me 18 months ago so surely he’ll be scared I’ll do it again. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It makes no sense I rather him just get on to the fact I’m not bothered with him anymore
it sounds like he’s just unblocked you to have a nosey on what you’re doing

Just wondering... Can you have Internet without paying for a land line? Been with bt forever and probably paying more than I need to for it. I haven't used a landline phone in over a decade and they charge me for a bt sports service that I never wanted and haven't watched TV in decades.
Yes but you still have to pay the line rental fee, from memory i think it’s £17 per month. We don’t have a landline phone so just pay the line rental fee in with our broadband. I think a lot of people do that nowadays as every one has mobile phones, we’ve done it for years

I’m 99.9% vegan/plant based so probably don’t get enough vitamins/nutrients that I should be consuming but I eat a lot of fruit, vegetables, legumes and some protein. I usually go to sleep around 10PM. I’m on the move constantly for that time (my watch estimates I burn between 2,000-2,500 calories in 8 hours) and work out 3 times a week - usually HIIT/weights for 45 minutes. I also don’t drink any water. I think I’ve answered my own question haven’t I? 🤣 Any advice would be appreciated still 🥲
Sounds like you aren’t eating enough carbs/protein. You must drink water - or squash even, it’s so important. You sound like you are burning a hell of a lot of calories at work and you are going to the gym ontop of that? You are going to need to seriously up your calorie intake I think. It’s no wonder you feel exhausted!!!!

I stupidly burnt myself on kettle steam at work whilst reaching over for tea bags. My hand was only there for a second but has left a scalding red mark. I ran it under cold water just after but didn't seem to do much, still stinging. What's the best thing for it?
I don’t think you’re supposed to put cold water or cold compress on a steam burn, just tepid water then dry the area and cover it from the air using a dry bandage or cloth.

Google steam burn to see what it says!

So I mentioned a while ago that my cat died. I had two and before she died me and the kids were talking about how we wanted a little ginger kitten. We were ready to have three cats. Then my cat died and we didn’t really think about it. My cat that’s been left behind is heartbroken still (understandably) they had been together awhile. The person who I got my two off has some kittens who were ready to go, last week. She’s offered me…..a ginger one. There’s quite a few “signs” pointing to this cat, if you will. However I worry about my other cat. Will she hate having a kitten around? Will it help her maybe? My cat is three so I am not sure how she will be with a small and tiny kitten around.
My husband did this when our cats sister died. He bought a kitten and it was a disaster.
Cats are generally solitary animals and while they will be friendly with siblings they don’t like other cats coming into ‘their’ house.

Thank you for your reply, it was our first night with her last night so I was pretty overwhelmed (in a good way)
She slept all night in her own bed in our bedroom so that's a start. I don't mind her being in our bed but my husband has allergies so I don't want them to flare up.

Im leaving her for short bursts of time, but staying in the house for now, I'm not sure if she had separation anxiety before coming to us or if it's just developed from changing family. It is something I anticipated though, so I have done a little bit of reading about it.
It's kind of like having a baby though, reading doesn't prepare you much for the reality 😂
It could be a change in family, sadly you can't communicate to them that they are here to stay, they just go by past experiences, when we got our rescue dog we had the same problem with him wanting to be beside us all the time, we wanted him to sleep downstairs but he just would not have it so we had his bed in our room then each night pulled it further an further out, after a while he was happy to lay in the hallway and sleep and that was fine by us, he also had a soft toy we got him the day we brought him home an I think that was a comfort to him as well, we would tuck it in with him at night lol

I hope your little pup settles, lol reading an reality can definitely be different

Does anyone know how you can check your credit rating where it won't affect it, I've heard from some that checking can make it worse

So I've had my credit card maybe around a year now, it's my first one an was incredibly hard to get being unemployed but obvs I needed to build credit as no credit is bad credit 🤷‍♀️ which is stupid imo

The one I got has a limit of £200 which is fine but I don't know how my credit score is doing, I've been spending little bits an then paying it off in one when the bill comes, I assume that helps the credit rating go up, or does it go up when am paying some off it each month?
