My car coolant light came on yesterday so I filled it up. All good.
It came on again coming home from work today but this time the warning light was red instead of amber. I wasn’t in a safe place to stop so just got myself home.
Anyway, filled it up again just now and it’s emptying straight away. Obviously there must be a leak so I need to ring the garage tomorrow but does anyone know if I’d be able to drive it to the garage or will I have to get it bloody towed? Google says you can’t drive 1 min without coolant as it does severe engine damage…there does seem to be the smallest amount left in the thing when I look but I obv don’t want to damage anything…
Had a nightmare with it recently 😩 so inconvenient that I have to get it fixed again

I take multivitamins and iron, additional B8 and B12, biotin and cranberry supplements - not considered fish oil but I'd thought that was more for joint pain rather than bone pain. I probably should have added as well I'm in my late 30s. Had Covid 3 times previously but not for 18 months, although the pains are very similar to ones I had when I did have it but it's been going on too long to be that...
Vitamin d deficiency could be the cause of your leg pains. Especially if you keep having Covid. Low vitamin d puts you more at risk.

hi guys so I don't know whats wrong with me, i leave everything to last minute when i know wont be able to do it on time,or even do it and im aware of the stress ill go through but i still do it. for example i have an exam tomorrow worth 60% i don't know anything for it, i haven't attended lectures or anything. this is also with minor things like cleaning my rooms etc. as i tell myself i can do it later so i dont start next thing i know its too late. i want advice on how to improve myself and stop leaving things to last minute where i cant even do them e.g not handing in coursework.
Can you make yourself a timetable? Break it all down into tiny steps.

Has anyone purchased anything from Ali express?. I know they're famed for drop shipping but just a one off item?. My son is desperate for a particular funko pop for his birthday and the only place I can find it at a non Eye watering price is Ali express (I know it won't be genuine but he's not fussed about that). Just wondering about delivery time scales, general experiences pls.
My daughter did one order and the quality was atrocious. I would be prepared for it to look very noticeably different from the other Funkos in quality, size, colour, etc.

Does anyone have recommendations for the strongest OTC antihistamines for hay-fever? I'm suffering so bad and it's affecting work as I'm having to keep muting myself or putting people on hold so I can cough and sneeze. My GP doesn't prescribe antihistamines 😔
Tried 10mg Loratadine and 10mg of Cetirizine Dihydrochloride
Get a good air purifier. If you can reduce the allergens you’ll better off.

It’s a very long watch which could’ve been condensed into an hour. You’re not missing anything.
I agree. The reviews about the show made it sound more interrsting. Sorry. That sounds a bit callous. It was dragged out and I thought it didn't really address a lot of the questions I felt were brought up.

Bought a bargain blazer from Vinted which turned out to have marks on it, it’s one of those polyester/shell mix lining jobbies, should I risk it and fling it in the machine?
I would. Put it on a low temp. But then I’ve thrown fabric blinds and curtains in the washing machine. And then had to add a strip of fabric to the bottom as they shrank so much.
So prob don’t listen to me. :ROFLMAO:

Those of you that have had Covid and lost their sense of taste and smell, how long did it take to come back? Did you just wait it out or do anything specific to help it? I’m just coming out of having Covid for the first time, still not feeling 100% better yet but I am really struggling with not being able to taste or smell anything at all. I’ve barely eaten or drank anything this past week due to being so unwell and now that I’m starting to feel a bit better I’m still struggling to eat because I can’t taste or smell anything. Not sure if this is something I should see the GP about?

Having watched it, it wasn't very engaging and far too drawn out. I was somewhat disappointed, tbh, and wouldn't have paid to watch it.

Looking for recommendations on best foot care, have taken up a ton of walking as I recently started a virtual race, next year I want to up my miles per day as I intend to do another challenge which is going be massive, but my feet are now starting to get some blisters as well as really rough skin around the heel especially

What's the best exfoliating and or cream out there to help with them?
Get a foot mask, the one from home bargains, it takes it all off, you have peeling skin for a while but omg it really works. I used to get cracked heels before using them. I tried all the creams prior.

Usually from my Outlook when I set up a meeting as soon as I add a meeting attendee it automatically populates it with a Teams link. You send the invite and all sorted. When there is an issue sometimes it doesn’t do this so you send an invite but when you come to check it you realise that it has no embedded Teams link. Could that have been what caused this? The issue is to do with the Teams add-in on Outlook and usually needs to be reinstalled.
Thanks, am honestly not sure, she's messed with me for 3 weeks in a row now an its always a excuse so I wasn't sure if this time it was another excuse or legit, personally am starting to get to the stage of telling her to get her arse back in the office if her work is being this affected because she has crappy internet, if she's continuously having bad connection to where it's affecting other people then really she shouldn't be allowed to work from home, I could have had this work done weeks ago an because of her connection issues it's still not signed off which means I'll need extended time to get the rest done which if this continues then god knows how long it will take

Need some ideas for hobbies...
I like reading and gardening. I’m early forties. I just need some distraction and distance at the moment and on working on me I’ve realised I don’t have any hobbies? Don’t know what to do? I’m quite creative. Hobby ideas please?
May I interest you in paper crafting? Scrapbooking, memory keeping, fountain pen ink collecting (fountain pen collecting if you're rich), diaries, stationery?

That's so interesting about BC and our hormones really do control a lot. How would you feel if he broke up with you? Relieved? Definitely don't stay with someone out of guilt, although you probably already know that.

I'm gonna speak to my husband today, in fact he's just putting the bin out so I might do it when he gets back in.
Honestly? I don't think I'd be super heartbroken if he did breakup with me. It would just make my life difficult in finding somewhere else to live :ROFLMAO: I've recently started therapy so I think this is something I should bring up. I can't really discuss with many people in real life as most of my friends are also his.

Interesting comment about the 7 year itch @JoeBloggs, it is something to consider. I believe my hormones are probably just out of whack but it's such an intense feeling it feels impossible to ignore/attribute it as something that will pass.

I'm 42 and the dr said I'm too old for the pill (not that it ever made a difference in the past anyway).
That's not strictly true, it depends on your other risk factors. BMI, smoker etc. did they say?
There are other avenues too, HRT or suppressants.
Have you looked at PMDD? It sounds more like that.

There's a Samsung program for your computer (think it's called SideSync), I used it to restore photos from a phone where the screen got damaged.

That's just dumb. "Lets use something you chose at an age where hormones are high and you aren't even fully formed as a person to determine your suitability for a job years later"
Smh
I never said it was a good idea or mine for that matter; simply that was my experience at an interview.

I want to change schools for my 7yr child ( it'll be their third school). They don't want to because of one favourite teacher who's there 2 days a week. Academically and socially, they've gone backwards in a big way. They have a few friends but their bestie moved states. Should I move her or should I allow her one more year at the "easy" school? She is not being challenged in any area, despite me talking to teachers about it.
Many thanks in advance
I don’t have children but I imagine changing schools so often can also knock their confidence. Plus the issues might not go away. Also your child wants to stay so the underlying problem might be different to what you think.
Personally I would try and work with the school. Are they being bullied? Or is it more that they don’t make friends?

Do you think by the time you're 30+ and have more industry experience you can just put under 'education' on a CV something like "Spring field high school, 2005 - 2010 - GCSEs - All grades A-D" or does it need to be more specific? Then the name of the college, course and grade without any explanation of the content. It's not really relevant to the role, is anyone going to care if you got a B for history and a D for Art?
I still have it listed as what it is an what I got for each one but I've yet to meet anyone who actually cares about it, company's like the look of being able to see it but I don't think they are actually interested, when I was at school it was standard grades we done which have long since moved on as it's GCSE's now

IMO once you hit mid 20s what you done at school shouldn't matter nor should you be expected to provide it an company's shouldn't discriminate you for not putting down subjects an the grade, it should be your experience you have that matters an anything you took as an adult or stages in a company you climbed that matter

Hello all,

I am just looking for your opinions on this…

I am 34 and still in my childhood home with my mum. She’s a tad controlling sometimes but overall we get on so well, we watch all the same things and love each others company.

What are your opinions on people being at home in their 30s? I’ve been exploring moving out but in all honesty I don’t want to leave. My cat is here too and I couldn’t bear leaving her. Should I just suck it up and go though?
If that’s what makes you happiest then that is your home! Sounds absolutely idyllic tbh 😂

Any experiences of the minipill? I'm a pack and a half in and I've been bleeding for 3 weeks. Part of which was an actual period, rather than side effect bleeding . I'm sure another period is on it's way as I'm in a foul mood.

Should I preserve in case it miraculously improves or just Jack it in now? Apart from the contraceptive aspect , I think I preferred it before I took it .
I bled almost constantly/unpredictably for at least 3 months. They kept saying it’d calm down and eventually did but was still not perfect.
Sort of defeated the object!
I tried a few different brands and some were better than others but it took convincing as they kept saying they are basically all the same.
Id speak to the doc if it continues.
