A random long shot

Does anyone own a Vauxhall Adam or a Toyota Aygo?

There's are the two I have my eye on, looking for pros/cons of them, are you happy with them, are they good cost wise, how are they with visibility vision (my last car was a Ford Ka convertible an when the roof was up it was incredible restricted seeing out the back) what are they like with hills? my work has a god awful corner hill going up to it

Also had my eye on the little VW beetles but they have discontinued those an I'd rather not have another discontinued car, just looking for something kinda small
My mum had a Toyota Aygo. She really liked it and I borrowed it for a month and enjoyed driving it. It was surprisingly spacious. Don’t recall any visibility issues but I guess your height may affect that so test drive one if you can. it was easy to park so don’t think there were issues. Was very nippy too. We are tall and the height of the car roof was good for us.

One thing I noticed was that I felt I had to rev much higher when pulling away than either of my two cars I have had in last 20 yrs (ford focus and a Nissan). I don’t know if that was her car or typical of the make and model.

Just, please, be aware that your company might be monitoring your internet traffic. Not a given but they could. Depends on what your security policy says, or even your work contract.
Also please be aware that some companies have a clause in their work contracts that anything created on a work computer and / or during working hours, they might retain the intellectual property of. Just to make sure you're not going to get into hot water there.
Thank you for all your suggestions! & @Captainmouse + @Mamacita about the courses - the open uni seems to have a lot of interesting ones for free!

Also thank you for your concern! We're a small company with very bare bones contracts and we have 1x IT guy and he's confirmed to me they don't monitor ☺

How can I watch Tell Them You Love me in the UK without Sky?

I have Netflix and it is on Netflix in the USA, but in the UK it is only on sky documentaries.

I have a very basic package from virgin media and do not want to commit to a long contract to access sky

My mum likes her aygo. It would be one of the cars I would've looked at getting if needed. She just says it's a bit slower to get going then their other car (Audi A3) so she waits for a bit more space at a roundabout before going for example. She's had 2 now as the first one was written off in an accident (she wasn't hurt). My first choice probably would've been a Hyundai i10 though just because I prefer how they look.

NOW TV has it. £9.99 a month cancel any time.

So I work in an office with no choice to WFH as there's some physical aspects. But 90% of the time I'm sat on my PC, bored out of my mind endlessly scrolling tattle 🤣

Is there anything I can do on my PC, without the need of headphones, to be productive? My screen is obscured from the rest of the office so could realistically do anything. I just feel like I should be doing something with my time that gives me more value...

I've done some Duolingo but not being able to do the listening/speaking aspects feels like cheating.
My work can be quiet at times so am getting put through sqa qualifications, it's through the council so getting paid for me, but you could look an see if there are any online courses you could take or maybe look at the open university, could be good to have something extra

It’s a very long watch which could’ve been condensed into an hour. You’re not missing anything.

Isn't everything these days?! It's alright when it's a really deep dive but they just stretch it out for nothing much of the time. So annoying you have to commit 5-6 hours for what could be an hour.

Having watched it, it wasn't very engaging and far too drawn out. I was somewhat disappointed, tbh, and wouldn't have paid to watch it.

I bled almost constantly/unpredictably for at least 3 months. They kept saying it’d calm down and eventually did but was still not perfect.
Sort of defeated the object!
I tried a few different brands and some were better than others but it took convincing as they kept saying they are basically all the same.
Id speak to the doc if it continues.
Yeah , i think it defeats the object too . Even if the bleeding sorted itself , I think my bad mood is due to this pill , rather than just being grumpy. I can't see that getting better.
---
I’d try a different pill. I was on cerazette and bled constantly and was sick, switched to rigevidon and 0 side effects. Recently due to migraines I was made to switch to noriday and again no side effects I think it affects everyone differently and it’s about finding the pill for you. But if you preferred it before then you have the option to come off it completely if you wish. Hope the bleeding stops soon its horrible when it seems never ending x
Rigividon is a combined pill, that's the one I used to be ona few years ago . I might see I'd I can try the combined pill again .
I don't know if I should stop this one now , or wait til the end of the pack .

I believe the Vauxhall Adam is also discontinued. Not really sure what that means in terms of availability or how it would affect you if you bought one but it’s worth keeping in mind!

Ah thanks, I didn't know that, I guess it would depend on when it was discontinued, my last was discontinued in 2003 so if it needed parts it was insanely hard, I suppose if it was only a few years ago with the Adam then it might not be so bad

Bought a bargain blazer from Vinted which turned out to have marks on it, it’s one of those polyester/shell mix lining jobbies, should I risk it and fling it in the machine?

Any experiences of the minipill? I'm a pack and a half in and I've been bleeding for 3 weeks. Part of which was an actual period, rather than side effect bleeding . I'm sure another period is on it's way as I'm in a foul mood.

Should I preserve in case it miraculously improves or just Jack it in now? Apart from the contraceptive aspect , I think I preferred it before I took it .
I bled for three months straight, felt suicidal became anaemic and gave up. It just doesn’t suit some people.

I agree. The reviews about the show made it sound more interrsting. Sorry. That sounds a bit callous. It was dragged out and I thought it didn't really address a lot of the questions I felt were brought up.

I would. Put it on a low temp. But then I’ve thrown fabric blinds and curtains in the washing machine. And then had to add a strip of fabric to the bottom as they shrank so much.
So prob don’t listen to me. :ROFLMAO:

Anyone else tap water smell and taste of bleach this last year or so? Used to be good, idk what they've done to it.

I probably would, stick it on at 30, maybe a delicates wash? I am one of those people who washes everything though - even the stuff that says dry clean only - so I am probably not the best person to ask! That said it all generally comes out ok 😂
