100% report it. That’s awful harassing him to go work and turning up to his house or contacting family is harassing. They also breached gdpr policy giving out your dads address no one should have their privacy invaded like that
I will definitely be looking into reporting this, my concern is, if I report it to the home they will probably do nothing about it as like I say it's clearly been management that's handed out the address as only management has the file, it was apparently the janitor that showed up to our house as I went completely mental about it, but according to my dad he isn't the only one they have done this too, a now ex-worker also had staff show up at his home

I am honestly sick of it, the whole reason I switch the phone off is so he can have his days off that he's entitled too, unfortunately my dad is easily talked into things so if they phone then he feels guilty an goes in, so now I keep the phone off, but I am furious they are now sending people to our door especially because a lot of the time I am home alone an I don't want random people showing up when my dad's out or on holiday

Ah that's so hard. Perhaps instead you could say " I think the best way is divide and conquer so I wanted to put myself forward for X part of the project?" And see if people follow suit?.
That’s a good idea, I could say ‘I’ll do this bit, who’s gonna do that bit’. Because I know they won’t offer out of nowhere! The petty part of me wants to be like ‘all of you did FA for a year so you can sort it out between you and I’ll have the next part of this project off’, but that’s only when I’m ranting in my head 😂

Has anyone ever heard of this site and booked from them? Am interested in this but I don't know if it's legit or not, apparently I just show up in my home town between certain hours for it
Yes we did the Alice in wonderland one. You'll have to download the app to receive clues/play. Good fun.

Not so much a problem but like a king for advice S IV recently lost weight and need some new clothes.im taking the opportunity to buy quality items that will last for once!

Jumpers - any recommendations for soft jumpers? Possibly cashmere or merino wool?

Trousers - comfy stylish trousers that are not jeans?

Coat - something warm and waterproof that won't make me look frumpy 😂

PJ's - a top and trouser bottom set that is really soft and comfy

Robe - ideally a towelling one that feels like one you get at the spa?

Trainers - what trainers is everyone wearing these days? Ideally would want something that goes with most jeans/leggings etc

I have no idea what to do next with my car. It is a 2014 plate, Insignia, my partner chose it but it's actually in my name. It's got loads of modifications which were there when we bought it. He's had a few scuffs in it, scratches all over the front corners and there's a dent in the back bumper. There's also an electrical fault where the car occasionally (more frequently now) goes into 'limp mode' which leads to the car going dangerously slow on the slightest incline, or gradually reducing speed when driving above 50mph, requiring the engine to be restarted for it to temporarily resolve the issue. We've thrown £500 for a company to check it out and replace a valve in the engine which hasn't fixed the issue. We'd need to pay additional £50 for further investigation and then further money for more work to be done (and even then there's no guarantee it will fix the issue. As they have no idea what is causing the issue!!) In addition to this, the cam belt is due to be replaced, and the clutch is sticking. Plus all the cosmetic work needs to be done and we have been quoted over £1000.
Basically the car is slowly failing (as cars do) but I don't think the work needed is worth it and we are looking to get rid of it.
It is on finance, I have approx £2k left to pay on it which is about 2 yrs left. I'm interested in hearing what others would do in my situation. Sell it? We were going to go with We buy any car but tbh we'd probably not get very much for it.
Personally I would keep the car especially as it is still on finance. The scuffs and scratches can stay but the most important thing is to get limp mode sorted out. This can be difficult to figure out because with modern cars almost anything can be the cause of limp mode. Is there a mechanic you trust that could investigate and not charge £££
The thing is you can scrap it but then you are still £2000 in the hole and you lose out on what the car would actually be worth. Where as if you fix it you could even out with reselling

Robes - white company! But wait for Black Friday.
Uniqilo does good basics in general but honestly I think it’s less about the shop/money and more about the fabric in terms of longevity. You get a better fit of you pay more, better stitching’s no seams etc but you don’t always have to break the bank.
Look at andreacheong_ on insta who goes through brands and fabrics, sewing techniques etc

I get you - I’m of the same mind.

maybe try a personal styling session at John Lewis?

regarding the robe… I bought my husband a monogrammed one from a personalised gift site (😂 sounds so silly when I type it out) BUT it is exactly the kind you get in a spa, it might be worth looking for something like that? I wouldn’t recommend White Company as I found theirs really scratchy but I have a Next Jersey one and it’s very soft.

What is the other stuff?
Can't really give too much detail but always wanting a hug from me, kept kissing my neck when hugging, took a strong disliking to my boyfriend within the last year out of no where, is very bossy and it's his way or no way (for example cutting our hedge when it doesn't need doing).
---
Am curious to know how they know you are in the bathroom, can you hear each other through the walls? I used to live in a semi detached an unless the neighbours were being really loud I wouldn't know which room they were in

Is there a way you can try an soundproof the walls a bit so they can't tell where you are, or maybe you can leave him in his bathroom all day by leaving a phone there playing bathroom sounds on it loudly
Our houses are the exact same layout, so when I'm walking across the landing they can hear it. I can hear when they've stepped into the bathroom as you have to step down. It's honestly so bizarre and I already feel on edge living here because of the neighbour, and now this has started again since he's moved back in. Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it but it's all too coincidental, especially as it has started again since he's moved back in with his wife.

I’m afraid that it’s tie dye, no two designs will ever be the same, It says on the description as such. To me, you got what you ordered, I don’t think you have any come back in that score.

However, consumer law says you can return it for any reason if you notify them within 14 days of receiving, you have 14 further days to actually return. They should refund delivery cost if you return the whole order.
You are also supposed to receive your goods within 30 days.
You will be responsible for the returns cost though.
There’s a letter template here if you want to use it to email them.
The original hoodies sold at the festival were the black ones, so it’s definitely achievable to get that pattern. It’s just really annoying when they made us wait twice the time given and not deliver what they have promised 😔

There is a trainer thread in the "advice" section, with lots of suggestions.

personally i don’t think she should contribute towards the mortgage if he has his own bills and has your son 3 days i feel that is fair enough. The issue with doing the official claim is they might say he owes even less than he usually pays. My friends ex partner pays £7.77 a week😕

in terms of petrol to drop him home, he is being a wanker there.
£7 a week 😅 what on earth 😅

Oh bless you sounds awful. Hope you’ll be ok ❤
It’s just so uncomfortable, I have to talk a lot for my job so it’s on my mind constantly. But I understand what they’re saying. They had to remove half the tooth as it was broken and then repair it, I was in the chair a long time and needed two doses of local so it wasn’t a small procedure

It’s not tiled, there’s laminate there at the moment… well, under the tub and in the cupboard there isn’t much of anything. We moved in last year and there are so many cowboy DIY jobs that have been done around the house and little holes everywhere I can’t wait to give the house the love it deserves. Bringing reno forward… not sure it’s possible currently but we may have to see how viable it is. That is a worry for tomorrow though- thank you for your help 😊
Good news about the floor, ripping out the lino and putting some new lino down should be easy in case there is moisture.

Hope you will have good news today!

Pics not very good but the bit with the arrow is slightly dented so I really can’t fix that myself.

It’s the paint along the side that I want to fix really. The scuffs are paint/marks left behind from his plastic bumper. It’s gone down to the metal in one part where the darker spot is.

Some people are telling me to t-cut out, others say magic sponge, others say WD40 so not sure what’s best and I don’t want to make it worse. Then again, what have I got to lose? 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

Is it better to fill in the darker spot with paint and then t-cut or t cut to get scuffs out and then paint?!
Never heard of using a magic sponge before, but I reckon that's worth a try before you buy anything else. If it's paint left behind by him though, a gentle cutting compound should get it off, at least that will take your eye away from the dent. Can't see it in the picture if that's any consolation.
