Thanks all.
I mentioned the mortgage as more of an example to him as to why I wanted him to do a recalculation, and that was all I was asking him to do, which he refused. I guess I felt that I had no choice but to contact the CMS as I felt like I wasn’t being listened to and being spoken to in an aggressive way. I of course fully accept that they might come back with the same or even a less amount.
I don’t drive so I feel he is using this fact to be a petty bastard which most of you realise (phew).

Thankyou.

Unfortunately qualified staff who are supervising are too concerned with these staff getting some experience in my condition/issues to stop and think that I’m not happy with that.

A simple example using a common issue I have would be hoarding and being told they need to experience this to help them, I’ve no say in the matter, even after saying I do not want that, it was humiliating and belittling being called filthy and stupid for letting things get out of control and them snatching my belongings and throwing them away. No support or help. It was devastating and the issue is now much much worse. Yet again only offer is group of students with bin liners. They get to put on their cv they’re experienced helping with hoarding when in reality they’re not.
The problem is every service is stretched beyond anything we have ever had before. I've read your posts before and I cannot imagine how hard things are right now but any free help will be limited and from memory you don't have the means for private therapy/help. You mention it is not the help you need, what help do you need? Have you tried Hording UK?

We bought a DFS sofa about a year pre-covid and it’s shockingly bad. Paid nearly £5k for it - 3 seater and l-shaped 4-seater in leather.
The 3-seater is terrible, really bad but Mr Lolz didn’t want to make a fuss because it took about 3+ months to arrive
Quoting myself here - please disregard this. It was Furniture Village! Our previous sofa was from DFS

Sounds like dust allergy symptoms, if AC is on it could be blowing it round the office making it worse for you

I had an interview for an internal role yesterday - I’ve worked with one of the interviewers before - he emailed me after to say well done & that I did a good job

Is that a good sign or is it a bit consolation -y? What would you think 😭 thanks

Thanks, I never know if ghosting is the right thing to do but in this case I can’t see an alternative
I don't really see an issue ghosting if you haven't spoken in a long time. I suppose it's not different to changing your number and not giving her the new one

Folks, have come home from hospital destroyed with residue from the tape they used for the cannula, IV lines etc. I’ve scrubbed my skin raw to no avail. Anything I might have laying around the house (or could get in supermarket) that might sort it out? My arms and chest are wrecked!
Mayo or something oily gets rid of sticker residue. Or nail varnish remover if it’s like hard glue.

I will say though that I love the range of Nespresso pods. Something for all tastes - and even the decaff ones are good. I spend far too much money on coffee but it's still way cheaper than takeaway ones.
Nespresso is pretty good, especially if you don't want the faff, but in my eyes theres two incredibly big issues - 1. the amount of waste those bloody pod machines produce; and 2. the (child) slave labour.

Had this electricity problem in my home off and on for the last 5 years.
Sometimes the supply is fine for a year or few months and then the problem just starts up again without me doing anything different.
It overloads and the switch in the main box will trip. Previously when a bulb popped, it's own individual switch in the box would trip so I knew what the problem was. With this problem I have now though it's always the main switch.
I can't use my fridge as the electricity will trip after a few hours even when I have it on the lowest cool settings. I don't have a cooker but I suppose if I did the same thing would happen. It seems to overload the electric supply. It takes hours afterwards for my supply to be good enough to power any appliance again in my home and I'm worried for winter when my electric heaters will be on.
Even though I've not had my fridge on, days later the electric still trips, sometimes a couple of times a day, though on these occasions I can switch it back on and my small appliances stay powered (as long as no big appliances are switched on).
Its making me very paranoid thinking the electricity company are limiting my supply due to net zero. Bills have tripled, they're also helping themselves to hundreds of pounds from me under the pretence is for my benefit for when more electric is used in winter. I did not give them consent to do this.
I've recently had an electrician in who says he couldn't see anything wrong with the wiring in the house 🤷‍♀️ and I've unplugged everything and gradually plugged them in again but yet the same irregular but regular pattern of the supply carries on :(
Helllllllppppppppppp!!!!!!!
Electricity companies can’t cut you off, it’s not a thing they can do. If you don’t pay they can force fit a prepayment meter but that process takes months to get the legal paperwork (unless you’re on a smart meter but there’s still a legal process you would be aware of) It’s definitely an internal fault (source- used to work for an energy company in the department that dealt with queries like this).

Pay the mileage. It’s about £1 a week, just so he doesn’t hold it over you.

I don’t know how they work out things like a mortgage increase but I think it’s all worked fairly to ensure someone doesn’t go and buy a lavish, expensive house and expect an ex to contribute on an average housing cost. The way I understood it (and it may be wrong) is that he has to pay half of what it costs to house your child over and above what it would cost you as a single person. Deduct from that his 3 nights a week and I don’t think you’ll see very much contribution to the mortgage at all. Let’s say a one bed would be £500/mth but a 2 bed is £750 - he would owe 1/2 of the £250 extra. However he has the child for 3 nights so depending when he collects and drops them, he might not own anything at all.
There are online checkers you could have a look at.

Does anyone know any websites you can input your sizes and it’ll tell you what bra size you are? I’ve been wearing the same size since I had my son 8 years ago and I’m sure it’s wrong 😂 I’ve not fully measured myself in years but I jeep getting bad back and I’m sure it’s because I’m wearing the wrong bra size
Boob or bust

Laundry question - I have a Habitat cotton throw and the label says ‘FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT WASH ME’ but what is the worst that could happen? I am shit at laundry (and house plants) but I want this clean and fresh. Am I destined to ruin it completely if I give it a cold hand wash cycle in the machine?

I'm sure it will be fine

Thanks, will probably book it then ☺
I wish we'd had the option of this one looks good!. I'm not going to lie the clues were pretty difficult so the bigger your team the better, a bit like geocaching. The best part was seeing everyone walking around dressed in costume.

Tips for a caravan holiday please. Travelling with the following
18 month old
2 dogs
7 adults 😅😅😅

Top of my list: Prosecco

Last time I went away with 2 dogs, in laws and husband it was fairly stressful and not that enjoyable 😂😂
Are you in a touring caravan or a static?

Camping chairs if you don't have decking. Possibly a fold up washing line, useful for drying towels/swimwear etc. Millets currently have one reduce to half price.

Board games and cards are always a winner.

All the alcohol you can fit in the car

Decent walking shoes so you can find a far hill to climb and get away from everyone 😆.

I really appreciate your responses! My friend has a habit of being impulsive and absolutely not thinking things through. When it’s just her in the middle I can let her get on with it but I’m really worried that a helpless kitten will get stuck in the middle possibly without food around payday. Plus myself and her whole family is allergic so she would need to pay for pet sitters when she goes on holiday (2/3 times a year)
A cat is probably not the best pet to go for if she's being impulsive, tbh no pet is best to get if it's an impulsive buy, but at least a hamster is in its cage an won't cost £20 for a bag of food or cost hundreds to be boarded when she goes on holiday, an although hamsters should be handled daily they are also fine with limited social interactions (the older mines gets the more he gets grumpy about being handled lol he's a proper old dude now an just wants his quiet) but there's A LOT to think about when getting a cat (or any pet for that matter) an boarding can be massively costly, am not sure much on cat prices but our dog was £300 for two weeks

She would also need to think on if she's going be able to handle a kitten, my mate had almost lost her patience with her cat when it was young because it was absolutely mental, not all kittens are going be calm, she loves her cat now but it was a difficult time for her when it was a kitten an she's had cats for years an really struggled with this one, so is she going be able to handle it if it's energetic? Or even if it had health issues? Or has allergies an requires specialised food? Not all cats can just eat whatever as well, you don't know till they are a bit older if they have allergies an specialist food is not cheap, my mate is $50 per bag because her cats has allergies

Right I am proper getting to the end of my tether and need some stranger advice- me and my partner have been together well over 2 years, and when we got together there was an ex (who may I add broke up with him) who kept trying to get involved with him again as she was jealous (we assumed). This said ex is about 3/4 years older than me, and a couple years older than my other half, and was making tiktoks about me "taking her man" as well as cutting her hair to the same style as me, and copying things I posted on instagram.
Fast forward 2 years, a random fake tinder profile of my boyfriend has been made (we knew it was local as one of my friends who lives close saw it, and the distance was close!) and a fake account of one of my business profiles had been made which seemed very coincidental. I have now found out she has made a new business doing what I do as a side hustle (I have all the correct experience and qualifications may I add whereas she doesnt) and I am a little bit pissed as I feel this is all very aimed.

Do I have the right to be pissed off / angry that someone who has been out of my boyfriends life for 3 years, and who is a lot older than me is still trying to get involved/ annoy us? Or am I overreacting?

Thank you :)
Omg she is a looooserrr!! Totally a valid reason to be upset. She needs to move on
