What does everyone take to work for lunch or does anybody have any ideas of what I could have to mix things up a bit? (I work in an office with only a microwave and kettle for context). I am wanting healthy ideas but I am so bored of bringing the same things everyday (sandwich, jacket potato, pasta or soup).
I have a similar problem. I take mine in a thermos. Are wraps an option? Or cous cous (i love me a cous cous salad😂)

another option if possible is one day a week you buy food if there’s anything near by. I do that and find it helps with the monotony of things (i do it on Friday)

Used to make home made egg fried rice to take, tuna mayo pasta, chicken wraps, sweet pancakes an fruit, little home made samosas, home made fritters etc, I'd make whatever the night before an it would be fine for a microwave next day

I used to take mini packets of sunflower Ryvita & spread some lower fat Laughing Cow cheese triangles on them, filling & healthy. We had a fridge where I kept my cheese triangles.

I used to take leftovers but sometimes a salad with tinned mixed bean salad or blanched green beans, asparagus, sugar snaps, potato salad to add substance.
Doriano crackers come wrapped in 4s and are I think are tasty with sliced cheese & tomato or sliced boiled eggs & mayo. Rice cakes or ryvita too with cream cheese and a tuna mix with sweetcorn, chopped capers & red onion.
If you’ve a toaster, not so healthy but pizza toast or, if no toaster, quesadilla. A little pot with a few slices of cheese, onion, cut up cherry toms & spring onion, torn up ham. Microwave for about 40 secs then spread across toast or warm wrap.
Stuffed pittas (again if toaster) with ham, feta, fresh mint or basil and salad.
Try Microwave rice pouches with half a tin of tomatoes, salt, garlic powder, pepper and chicken or tuna mixed through.
Nori or lettuce wraps with cold rice, strips of cucumber, carrot, tuna and soy sauce.
Cucumber boats where you scrape out the seeds then fill with cream cheese, tuna or chicken mayo. Can do loaded potato skins similarly.
Sweet treats you can prep a microwave chocolate mug cake then just add the milk before microwaving. Crushed meringue, pot of creamy yog and chopped fruit. Raisin bagel with biscoff spread and chopped banana. Overnight oats or good old fruit salad.

I often take Gym Kitchen ready meals. They are relatively low calorie but healthy with lots of veg etc and the portion sizes are really decent. I can't get along with the lasagne though.

Does anyone know how to see a skincare specialist without going to GP? Never been formally diagnosed with rosacea but pretty sure I have it.

Just look up private dermatologist. But they are super expensive.
Why not ask your GP to refer you
Thank you :) because gp’s aren’t taking appointments and it could take a long time to be referred. I work within the Nhs. I would rather not have to use A:/L for appointments etc. I was just looking for an easier way is all.

My sister was diagnosed via video consultation online during lockdown by some fancy London clinic, cost about £50 to get a letter from them to confirm, which she took to her GP for treatment. An option??

It was about 10 years ago but I contacted a dermatologist via a local private hospital and was able to just make an appointment. It was £120.

I have a recipe for an asian style noodle soup where you only need boiling water:

I use tons of different veg, sometimes broccoli, spinach is a good one, you could even take some veg to steam in the microwave and then add to the broth. Great to use up any veg in the fridge too.

I would normally just take leftovers from dinner (make a bigger portion) so like a stir fry or whatever I'm having. Sometimes just stick a pack of boneless thighs for the week and have them with veg/rice at work. Sometimes make a big chilli and have that for the week. I basically just have a normal dinner type meal at lunch 😅

My Instagram account has been suspended. When I get to the 'confirm it's you' page, it always refreshes automatically so I can't tick the box or click continue. I only created this account last week and hadn't posted anything, so I don't see how it could have broken any guidelines! I keep having these sort of issues with Instagram. Anyway, I can't make an alternative account because I'm still logged in and unable to log out. What do I do? 😬

This is such a weird question but I’ve thought I had fairly straight hair all my life- both my sisters are curly girls- I had a bit of a moment and had the hairdresser cut my hair into a long bob and it turns out my hair is REALLY wavy and I have no idea how to care for it. It is still fine and inclined to be greasy though… anyone? It is a different type to my sisters so they can’t help

Me and my middle sister have curly hair whilst my little sister’s is wavy. She tends to use the same shampoo and conditioner as us and plaits her hair after washing. She doesn’t use much leave in conditioner as her hair is much thinner and doesn’t frizz as much as ours but we all use silk pillow cases to prevent frizzing. You could try using a curl gel and scrunching your hair to see if your curls come out more- hair usually straightens the longer it gets as the length weighs it down so you probably do have wavy/curly hair but never noticed until cutting it.

This sounds just like my hair! I use a sulphate free shampoo and conditioner, then squeeze/towel dry my hair out as much as i can, then I brush it out, flip my head upside down and scrunch cantu curl activator through, then let it air dry

If you got to your Instagram app settings and clear cache/data this should log you out of the account I think

Pretty sure your GP can give you creams or low dose antibiotic to treat it without seeing a dermatologist.

Just need some advice from some knowledgeable people! Friends and Google don't seem to have a consistent answer.
We are taking our 3 children out of school in May for a 2 week holiday. I know we will get fined but I just want to know how much that could be. Is it £60 per adult, per child, per week? (Seems a bit excessive 😠)

Kids are currently on 97% attendance. 3 days off for illness. I know this won't make any difference but for reference.

First holiday in 10 years so not as if it's a regular occurrence.

Anyone know?
