Is it genuine? Have they been sending letters to the wrong address?
Do you have evidence of meter readings from when you were there/moved out?
There was an address i lived at between that house and the one i’m in now so they probably were going to that address but i’ve been where i am currently for a year now. I have looked back through emails and it looks like i was emailing the estate agent about access to the electric meter and she responded that the Landlord didn’t have a key to get to it. The man on phone said it sounded wrong as well. It’s a bill for 14,000 kWh in 6 months😐

Can’t get into my outhouse. It’s wooden doors with a star key for the lock (previous owners fitted the lock). The key is turning round in lock, but not unlocking. It’s possibly the amount of rain we have had that has maybe made the door swollen. Any tips? My tumble drier is in there and I’ve been trying to unlock it every night this week and lose my patience/rip the doors off. Last resort is a locksmith.

(Don’t judge me for using a drier 😫 it’s raining heavily, so can’t use the washing line)

Would anyone have any advice how to go about asking the GP for something for anxiety. I know it sounds so basic but I have really bad health anxiety so even ringing them is a big deal for me 😭

Indeed...I agree with you 100%. Its normal noise and I would much rather live with a crying baby than some of the noise I've had to put up with!

In fact, my problem is neighbour related because I found out my neighbour is a spy 😂...well I'm over exaggerating but is a digital forensic (and I only found out because I was snooping!) so my paranoia and anxiety is now all over the place. Even writing this, makes me feel like I've got Big Brother watching. What if the neighbours know I've been snooping?! I'm a Tattler, so it wasnt just a quick nose on Facebook. I'm literally making myself ill over it.

I'll swap for the screaming baby!
Do they definitely work in crime? I know some who does digital forensics and their job is basically making sure employees are slagging off the bosses, comparing salaries or stealing from the company.

Could you take her away on holiday- get her far, far, away from him for a few weeks. See if she can remember how nice and relaxing life can be without a toxic man in it?
I wish I could 😞
She’s had a lot go on in the space of a few months a few years ago, lost a lot of friends, I think she feels he’s all she’s got?
We are close and do text/talk daily , I think he’s brainwashed her tbh

Not sure if this is the right place to post but I came off my pill almost 2 months ago. Had my first period last week - all seemed fine just the usual. I was on the pill in the first place because they were so bad i'd be sick.

I don't know what to do about the pill now though. I was very lucky in that I never had any side effects and it stopped my period completely. I am worried about the long term of being on the pill and all the horror stories but not having a period was really great as the mental side effects really take their toll and I get really bad fatigue.
I just don't know what to do for the best. There's a bit of me that thinks just take the easier route now and deal with the outcomes if they come later down the line but there's a part of me that is concerned.

I'm all confused
I was on the pill on and off since I was 18 - currently 31, progesterone only. Stopped my periods completely, always took pregnancy tests periodically and was paranoid.

Stopped taking the pill aged 29 for a year during the pandemic cause I needed to get my blood pressure checked and also just generally couldn't be bothered. Got my periods back and they were like clockwork, used a tracker app and always accurate. However started with unexplained pelvic pain monthly and I couldn't bend over, get out of bed etc. when it was happening.

Currently waiting for a gynaecology appointment to investigate further but it was recommended by two different doctors I got back on the pill ASAP to manage my symptoms. I have done and it's massively helped but I'm worried being on the pill since I was 18 has basically masked symptoms. Looking for further advice and discussion as well 😔

Has anyone ever had to take something back while they are still signed into things an it's been ok?

My tablet is 4 month old an won't switch on so it's going back, but obviously am still signed into things on it, email, my Google account etc, I've changed my passwords but am still a bit paranoid, am assuming it will just go back to the factory an they will instantly factory reset it but I still don't like that I can't get it on to sign out of everything 😫

Photo storage on phone. Help. I do backup all my photos on my phone to Google photos. But basically my internal phone gallery is so full to the point I've basically deleted most apps to recoup storage, because I'm terrified if I delete all the photos from my phone gallery it will somehow delete them all from Google photos as well. I've heard horror stories of that happening to others and it's all photos of my baby which I don't want to lose. Should I just save to a hard drive as well or is there another solution. I have deleted crappy photos from my phone gallery and they still show up in Google photos so I know I'm being very irrational lol. But what do others do?

Needing advice about the process of selling a house.

Basically some people on my street are selling their house, which makes me happy because it’s been difficult to live peacefully sometimes. They said they are moving in 5 weeks. If they know when they’re moving does that mean contracts have been signed? I’m trying not to get too excited 😆

Hi everyone,
Where do I begin, dsughter no.1 had a good job, flat etc got with this bloke, useless doesn’t work, bad history etc etc, well long story short they have been evicted from private rental, I’ve told her to come home but not with him (he’s lied, as I said above not good )
She won’t come without him, Council won’t help, she’s now living in b&b borrowing money as I and couple of family members don’t want her on street, it’s awful, I’m so sad 😞
Sorry if this makes no sence just struggling with whole situation, she walked streets one night 😞
Has she lost the job as well as her home?
Are drugs or something criminal involved?

Not a problem but some advice would be much appreciated. What would you wear to your partner’s (milestone) birthday celebration with friends, family & disco but really just a piss up in the local pub’s function room? I could get away with jeans and a nice top but I’d to make an effort, without going over glam or formal.
Age range mid-late 30s, size 12-14.

Not really a problem but does anyone have any recommendations for comfy sandals that don't look horrible?. 🤣

I'm going on holiday soon and need to find some. Just comfy enough to walk round all day!
I bought a pair from Regetta outdoors from Amazon last year and would recommend them for heavy walking. I’ve always prioritised comfort over looks though.

There’s also Fitflops which my mother has

Looking for anyone that's techy with computers, so this weekend DW is airing the regeneration episode, I don't watch it but my close friend is a huge lover of DW, for some reason they aren't airing it in America at the same time as the UK an she's really bummed about it

My question is, is there a way to somehow hook up my laptop to the TV an have what's on the TV on my laptop an give her a link so she can watch along or am I only going be able to point the webcam towards the TV on a Skype chat an have her watch that way

I know how to hook the laptop to the TV to watch what's on my laptop on the TV but if never tried it the other way around

I believe in your example, you were unfortunately putting your needs before others. What for you was so bad about there being a "stranger" come along? Your brother's partner of six years is not a stranger. How do you expect to get to know a person if you don't mix with them? How does a stranger no longer become a "stranger". How do you think this made your brother feel? How do you think it made his partner feel? How would you feel?

I get the sense you don't include this person as part of your "family". What a shame. I hope this individual didn't/doesn't feel ousted. Heck, what if they don't have a family or have never been on a family holiday?

There's something quite juvenile and spitting ones dummy out about your words.

As for the original poster (Centreparks) your brother is being a sulky arsehole.
You are certainly entitled to your opinion. But if I see my family only every 2-3 years then I feel I can be selfish with my time.
Do I care if she felt left out? Not really. Did I spit my dummy out? Why, because I was honest about how I felt.
Not everybody is the same and how boring would the world be if we were all like you

I've only spoken to them over the phone 2 or 3 times, and in their role they'll speak to loads of people, so my voice might not be recognised

Anyone used Cronometer or another tracking app?
the protein says that that I am deficient (49g but need 96g) however the break down of each individual protein says I getting more than 100% of each. Anyone know why this is?

If I wanted to do this, I'd go at it with a mallet and a bolster or brick chisel, but I'm pretty competent and confident with this sort of thing, including the making it-nice-after-the-hammering part.
Thing is, you'll have a gap in your flooring where it was and potentially a pretty untidy finish to the floor and in particular where the hearth meets the fire surround/ wall. You may find it comes up off the sub floor OK with a chisel but you will probably need to fill some gouges in the floor before laying some flooring and make the surround/wall whatever nice in whatever way works. Is the surround more brick, or something else?

I'm getting new flooring so wanted this done before that. I've always been very good at DIY -even built my own kitchen 20 years ago- but now I can't do it as I don't have the arm strength anymore.

The surround is also brick.

What do you mean your councils website doesn’t work?!

There can’t just be 1 single doctor in your GP practise. That’s not feasible even in a remote rural area.

Have you been and spoken to the local benefits office?
If I go to their website the message reads ‘the version of safari you are using is no longer supported. Update your device or use another browser’ - the other browsers aren’t supported either. It’s the same with increasing numbers of websites. Unfortunately web developers don’t think of people using older devices or for that matter readers. I have difficulties here too with unknown errors but so far I can still access it. Possibly I didn’t explain myself properly. Sorry.

Many rural practices have one or two GPs, under special management by health board in wales; I know there’s special arrangements when they aren’t in with the nearest drop in centre GPs (in England, three hours away). There are floating clinics for things like diabetes/women’s health every few months from elsewhere. Many cannot travel to other surgeries.

The local benefits office is in Llanelli. Two counties away and at least six hour journey which I cannot do; the furthest I’ve been since injury in lockdown is half a mile; can no longer manage transport. The local offices all closed years ago. The only jobcentre in my county is still closed as well to visitors. The telephone number is for Llanelli there is no access to the local one, even by letter.

Update about the british gas bill- debt company saying as it is an actual read then i have to pay it. The read was not given by me and you can clearly see it is incorrect?!
