I used to get it really bad then since lock down I never got it again My husband still get’s it bad I was thinking off seeing if anywhere local did them. He needs to drive for work but his eyes are pretty badly swollen

I got blood tests done two weeks ago & I still haven’t heard anything. I rang the doctor last week and was told they haven’t received any results from the hospital. I wonder if I should ring the hospital to follow up?!

I’m worried they may have misplaced the results & I’ll need to do the tests again. I was t checked in properly at the reception. I was told to just go to the blood test room andI gave them my referral letter (which they kept).

I’m still feeling unwell, so I’m eager to know what’s wrong if anything.

Thanks, I'm in IT so yes, lots of jobs around, had a look and even some of my non negotiable requirements (100% remote, wages about the same as now) are easy to find.



I'm in a union, not a big one though, and they can help with legal advice but they're a bit powerless. I've been trying and succeeding in connecting other employees who feel the same and we'll be sending an open letter to the boss soon, but I doubt it will help. He's the CEO after all.

That No- Bias person is seriously a great idea, one of my coworkers just had a call with him without anyone there and it wasn't easy from what I hear.

I think it completely depends on if you will still feel happy in the work place once you have raised your concerns about him too. I agree with the previous poster that he shouldn’t be allowed but if he is a CEO is there much you can do anyway?

it makes your life easier if you can replace the job quickly.

I have a medical-y question. I had a blood test (fasted) on Thursday morning and the GP practice called on Friday afternoon to ask if I was on my period when I had the test - and I was but at the end of my period.

I have had loads of them in my life but this is the first time I’ve ever been asked! I’m so sure I have had tests when I’ve been on my period before too. Does anyone know if there is any particular reason they would have asked? I really hope they aren’t going to ask me to do another one..

Ok so my Xbox has decided to turn on narrator but only in games, I have no idea how it done it or how to get it off, it's super frustrating especially when in my settings it's still turned off

Anyone had success getting money back after buying something from a dodgy website?

My mum is very naive and bought some perfume online from a website without properly researching it. The perfume has arrived and it's clearly a fake, it says "Tester - not for sale" on the box. No info on the website about refund policy only a contact email.

She's emailed them to ask for the refund, but do you think the next option is to ask for chargeback with her bank?

My period is now only lasting one day. One really heavy, going through at least a pad an hour, can't leave the house for fear of leaking day. Excessive unexplained weightgain and dark hair sprouting everywhere. Doctors aren't interested. Anyone experienced anything similar?

They used to last 5 days and I'd say for the last 6 or so months it's down to one day.

Question. Would you expect both your children to be invited to a child’s bday party if they were only 2 years age diff or just the one that’s close in age to the child celebrating their bday?

I think the best thing to do it just walk away from her, don't even give her a reply, if management had said to you that they would talk to her then it might have been worth it as they could have told her she needs to keep her distance

She honestly seems like such a noisy cow tbh, next time you are in a room full of people an she says something, maybe just announce you are uncomfortable being asked something personal an walk away, she might hopefully feel embarrassed enough she won't do it again

I wish I did take my supervisor up on that offer but I just felt like it looks like I’ve got them fighting my battles. I’ve told my supervisor I just try and sit there doing my work with my headphones in trying not to join in the convo doing what I need to do.

I feel like she’s not happy I’m not pally with her as some other people are or the fact I rather go to other people than her. She tries to tell me how to do my job when she hasn’t actually got a clue. I need to make sureI get service users to fill out feedback questionnaires but then question how I’m doing it or questioning why I’m doing it that way but then all I say to her is I need it doing I’m not going on bed.

she had my name down on a room booked on the system the appointment was still down so I spoke to admin over it and told them she told me to keep the room and she’ll sort it out because is was for her device user. I got worried as the user would still get a text over to and I was worried they’ll turn up but they aren’t having an appointment. Admin weren’t happy with her telling me not to cancel the room and she’ll sort it so admin had a go at her over it. I don’t think she was happy I went to them over it but I was checking if she spoke to them or not.

I've a ton of stuff, an tbh I can't be bothered putting it all on selling sites one by one, was thinking about just advertising a garage sale at my own place an whatever doesn't go can just go to a charity shop, but an not sure if it's legally allowed or not

It’s a rendered house. There’s a lot of jargon I didn’t quite understand/forgot he said rendered houses are usually colder but my wall was about 7 degrees

Has anyone ever gotten from Amazon an sent it back if it's no good? How easy of a process is it? Am looking at something quite expensive, reviews are definitely mixed on if they will come without being mostly broken or if they will come totally fine, it says I have till end January to return them but since I've never returned anything I've gotten off Amazon before I don't know what it's like

I’ve often thought about a reduction but my auntie got her’s reduced on the NHS in about 2011 and hers grew back

I didn't know they could do that , I was hoping to come down a few sizes an stay that way, I was told "just lose the weight then" an I did, got right down to the lowest BMI where it was still healthy an they just looked even worse because I was smaller everywhere else

What's the best freebie music site to use, I used to get apple music through my phone contract but since am not paying a tenner a month to occasional listen to music for a hour or two then I need to find another one

Out Deezer, Spotify an YT (it's the only ones I know) which one is the better with limited ads, I know I'll get ads if it's free but prefer to listen to at least a few songs before being hit with one an not have them after every single song

I also can't be bothered to download from YT onto my phone lol

I’m off now for a couple of weeks but I might see how she behaves after and if she says anything about my rosacea I’ll have wins than if it continues I’ll go back to my supervisor as she is aware of 90% of what has happened and she if that would eventually put her in her place.

Just thought I’ll give an update. Been back in work since Monday, she won’t even look me in the face or has said a word to me at all whenever I’m in the room she ether leaves or looks away to talk to someone else.
mom only finding it funny as it took that one incident for her to actually leave me alone

It doesn't happen on any of the other channels am on, only this one, I've tried uninstalling an reinstalling it but I still can't get any of the other threads to come up, it's stuck on this one thread an refuses to show the rest, it's the only channel that does this
