I just listened to part of that podcast....firstly I'm annoyed that Erica didn't stand up for the POC in Ireland when they gave that bull excuse for not having POC on their cover and secondly Vicky is an absolute uneducated fool for saying that they are pretty much reliant on other media to promote POC before they are considered to be put in their cover or positioned as a celebrity. By passing the blame she is automatically becoming part of the problem!

Can someone make a thread on it because that magazine and it's editor get away with so much horseshit. Their response to the Terrie cover was 'sorry IF we got wrong'. I don't buy it anymore and even back in the day, I would have preferred to buy U magazine.
And that's why allies need to speak up and say that's bull, you don't need household names to sell a magazine. If the stories and headlines are powerful enough, they'll sell.i think she just brushed it off and didn’t think anything of it.

She must feel zero responsibility towards her patients... Off on another trip putting herself and the people she enteracts with in the hospital at a huge risk she really does not give a flying duck and the whole trip is prob paid for. There has to be some form of medical ethics she is breaking. I would hate if God forbid one of my family members ended up in hospital and she was the nurse... Knowing that she is up and down the country because she is such a spoiled cat and can't just stay at home for one weekend. I would actually ask the doctor or whoever is in charge of her not to be treating my family member I think it is so irresponsible of her as a medical professional to be doing this and then all the other amazing nurses all over this country who are working so hard and not travelling or even meeting with family. U Terrie are the opposite of a caring nurse!! Shame of you
I have heard of no cases lately of anyone testing postive that worked in the health care profession so I dont have an issue with Terrie going out and about the same as everyone else. There's a good chance shes nowhere near covid patients and if she is, shed be getting tested regularly and wearing the correct PPE to ensure there she is not infected
They even advised people to consider not going to hotels now, which doesn't really make sense as you would prob come into contact with more people in a restaurant than a hotel, but as a nurse and someone in the public eye you would think she would follow government advice to set a good example.

Well Terri isn't working in a nursing home and of the two hospitals you mention where either of the cases nurses? As the level of PPE you wear is different depend on your job. Nurses and Doctors at this stage are well covered with their PPE.
Now if Terri was working in a meat factory or working in a DP centre I would be saying she shouldn't be out and about as this is where most of the cases are coming from

Why would it matter wether the staff member who tested positive was a nurse? If ANYONE in the hospital tested positive any nurses or doctors who came into contact are at risk and would have to self isolate and could have already passed it on to other people. And PPE doesn't mean they won't catch it. My sister in law is a doctor and several of her friends have tested positive eventhough they would have been wearing PPE. And doctors and nurses have died!
