He has an obsession with willys for some reason 😐😐??

Before I signed up I did think twice because he’s a thick twit. Saying that he’s stumbled across a way of getting people to pay for hot air and abuse them while they do it.

He should have someone checking the SPAG on his posts as he’s too brainless to manage that himself. All the Betty stuff signals the misogyny and the puerile posts are a guide his mental age.
Your are 100% spot on!!!!

Thank you so much. I totally understand the exercise point. I was avoiding exercise I enjoyed because it didn’t give me as many steps - jogging on the spot like a moron was better for steps, but I really want to do yoga,Joe Wicks, Jillian Michaels, body pump. But none of those got my steps up. They made me feel 100000 times better but who cares if you don’t get your gold star right?!
This was my experience too, I loved Body Pump but it didn’t get my steps up. I began to get confused about doing classes at the gym and honestly went less when I had signed up to RH.

I didn’t know what to do at the gym and the equipment I had in my gym didn’t match what Rachel used in the videos. I was so confused. Add in the uncertainty about what to eat, the encouragement to eat 20% crap, even when I didn’t really want to!

The marching on the spot for an hour when I could have been at Body Pump never made sense to me...not forgetting the irritation that is Baking El popping up on my Facebook doing her walkie talkie kitchen marching...who enjoys that?

I quit and went back to Body Pump, Swimming and running. It works for me and I enjoy it. I’m cooking all meals, drinking more water, eating less rubbish, and focusing on increasing vegetable intake! I love this thread, because it makes me see I wasn’t the only confused one!

It was some stupid graphic he created to show weight loss, like a really long disgusting snake thing divided into pounds you could tick off. Think he did it to be ‘funny’. He got like 400 odd comments about how funny it was. No, just grim.

I'm sure he did a fiona large flaps something too. It's always women he uses as "bad" examples, never men

He is awful, I also can’t write much on here because he will know who I am but karma is coming to the vile man! I’ve never hated anybody on this planet like I do him.
I was too scared to at first, then I thought, why do I care? What’s he gonna do it he knows it’s me? He literally has no control on my life. duck him in the eye. 🤣

This is true! It’s always Betty isn’t it? Not large Jack. I’ll bet he’ll read this and do that now.

Yes!!! I genuinely could not understand how getting up at 6 and marching in my living room is better than going for a run or a kettle bells workout. Like, yoga barely gets any steps so I stopped doing it. They tell you to run if you want for mental health “but it’s not necessary” but then recently he’s saying that out of your 15k steps 10k need to “have your boobs jiggling” so cardio then? It’s all nonsense and anti scientific, just like the callipers.

I have an awful gut feeling that there was a bit of truth in what was said in that video from his ex affiliate.

About rachael saying she doesn't feel able to challenge Richie and stand up if she doesn't agree with something. I dont think this is only about the business....I have an awful feeling she is like this offline too and he is controlling her
From what I’ve heard this is very true. He throws tantrums and emotionally abuses her I think. You know the type. If you say anything they don’t like they bang doors and stomp off so it’s easier to agree. What does she have outside of team rh? Her whole life is wrapped up in it. She doesn’t even have a proper job left anymore as she gave it up to do this... they have millions she could be enjoying her life. But she burns herself out to look perfect and then lies in bed with fatigue. I feel so bad for her.

To be fair I was exactly like this until a week ago when I had a bleeping epiphany at last. I was genuinely thinking I wish I worked there, then I could focus on fitness all the time and get paid for it! Because it was taking over my life like a full time job.

It actually never occurred to me til I’ve just read these comments that his examples were always women. He definitely has some mum issues for sure. He’s probably getting ideas for content by reading here! I genuinely think the ex affiliate is speaking total truth, even when threatened with legal action she stuck to her word, then James Smith’s legal team got involved i’m sure.

What do the affiliates actually do and what do they get out of it?

I watched the video linked above and i can’t understand what they bring to the group in order to progress to elite status? Can someone explain?

Wow that's so sad it made you give up classes at the gym you obviously enjoyed.
I mostly teach Pilates, does it get my steps up alot? No. Am I active for a big portion of the day...yes. It's nice to not be a slave to your Fitbit, I hope you can get back to doing what you love

Also the callipers thing..
How the hell do they expect people who aren't PT's to be able to use callipers effectively. They have a large margin of error even if you are very experienced with them let alone never used them before. 🤷‍♀️
Completely unnecessary and complicating things when it's really not needed. But I suppose they have to do that to take your money and convince you that you're all so rubbish without them eh....
Horrible just horrible

I think they bring in sign ups with a 'discount code'....sound familiar? They also set up their own spin off social media channels to increase teamrh reach. That's what i think from what i has observed!

Yeah I don't get it either? Figured they must get paid like the women walking in her kitchen and the baker or why would they do it?
Also in that video she said there is an elite group?

So Joe Bloggs pays his monthly fee's and gets the basic AP ect and all the people he see's as putting in the graft get put in a special group? That is not promoted is it and does not seem transparent or fair. Maybe I miss heard her:rolleyes:

We have affiliates in our company (technology) so we give the affiliate a % of whatever revenue the new sign up brings in, so I guess they must get a kickback for signing up new sheep.

I’d never seen any affiliate offering sign ups so that’s what made me wonder. Like you say - why on earth does that woman march in her kitchen or do seated workouts if she’s not being paid? Or are they all just narcissists seeking fame?! Such a bizarre set up!

Yes they have a link and if someone joins or buy rh merchandise using it the affiliate gets a% probably next to nothing!

I wonder if any of them have any training, PT, fitness instructor, life couching, nutritionist. Anything, or if you can just bounce about your living room as long as you’re popular and getting the referrals in

From what I’ve heard (from inside) “allegedly” is that the coaches are just former members that have done well that he’s then created. I did one of the dancing around at home workouts once and it really hurt my knees and I’m sure the woman (crissie) isn’t trained.

Can’t see any qualifications 🤷🏻‍♀️

Are the coaches and affiliates the same thing? I don't think that is the case I know someone who is an 'affiliate' and has a discount code for people to use but she's certainly not a coach as she has zero quals and is still losing weight in fact has a lot to lose, she is in fact is an ex juice pluser that Richie has deliberately got on board because of her following after a semi public argument, but she now does the RH social media thing.

For someone who rambles so much about multi level marketing his business sure looks like one

The coaches and affiliates often seem to be ex members. As far as I can tell, none of them have qualifications in nutrition or fitness. They usually just send links to stuff on the app when you ask them questions.
