Apart from as a PT does he have any other qualifications for diet and nutrition? He goes on as if he's the only person in the world who fully understands how the body burns calories
I doubt it. And you can do a 6 week PT course which is worrying! He’s not telling anyone anything they can’t find out by going online or reading articles!

I WAS going to join RH but after finding this thread, it's a no from me. Like other posters, he seems too controlling, too shouty, too self righteous and a little bit controlling over HIS missus.

Take a look at Preece Nutrition. Peter was their nutritionist (he left there last year) and is qualified and really kind and supportive to everyone. You can ask.any question without fear or being shouted at or shamed. Peter really does help you.

100% agree, Preece Nutrition is the way to go. No shouting, no ranting, no patronising. He’s a lovely person who has empathy and compassion, and understands how difficult it is to struggle with weight. He also has an actual degree so I would much rather give my money to him than RH.

I didn't know about him, thanks for bringing him to our attention 👍 I'll look him up.

So has anyone else on here cancelled their direct debit and currently being hounded?
Not me personally as I cancelled ages ago and was one of the originals I think so on the old paypal payment, but a few people on this thread have mentioned being hounded. I don’t understand how they are getting away with this, surely if you’ve cancelled and not using the service they don’t have a leg to stand on? It’s disgusting.

It’s seriously draining the constant messages from them and Ashbourne
Team rh are like they can’t do anything about the direct debit as its collected from Ashbourne
But surely Ashbourne is under there instruction
So then I keep getting threatening emails from Ashbourne who say cancelling is down to team rh

You would think so, surely it was their choice to work with Ashbourne, and to continue working with them. If they genuinely don’t want Ashbourne to hound people they could surely just cut ties with them? He always tries to make out he’s one of the good guys but if he truly was he wouldn’t need to harp on about it. If he was a decent person then he wouldn’t be working with Ashbourne, he wouldn’t be tying people into paying for a year, all those staff members wouldn’t have left and there would be no reports from people about him bullying them.

I paid for the year up front
I read it as you pay the price whether you pay upfront or over the year.
Bit like if you buy a sofa then decide you don't want it.... You still have to pay it off.
Perhaps they have made it clearer recently but I knew how much signing up would cost me.

I’ve done team Rh and just paid for the year too. To be honest I thought I’d have to cancel or contact them at the end of the year but i just received an email with a cancellation date and it was easy. I think if you sign a 12 month contract and then stop paying after 2-3 months they they are within their right to seek the full payment. How they go about it is a different matter though.

I get what your saying but most things like that you physically sign a contract
Iv not signed anything with team rh

I was a member a couple of years ago so things may have changed since then.
When I joined it was my understanding that you could pay for the year (which is what I did as it was 49.99 so cheaper than a 12 week sw pass) or pay 4.99 a month and cancel anytime. There was no contract when I was a member.

He’s an absolute loon! Cannot ask a question without him loosing the plot. Also everyone had to do 15000 steps a day. If you said you couldn’t do this, you were basically called lazy. Peter was lovely, he’s gone on his own now. Peter Preece Nutrition. Jason from Munro was out of order in my opinion, totally ripped RH Fitness off!

There’s definitely some sort of personality disorder there, he either makes a joke of stuff like an adolescent or he’s ridiculously aggressive. And I’m no snowflake, I usually don’t give a hoot about swearing but his language is absolutely foul and totally unprofessional. I do think Munro ripped them off and I think he’s sneaky but Peter is a true gent and his group is lovely.

💯 has mental issues. He’s super aggressive much like RebelFit (he needs his own thread to be fair!). He needs to calm down and relax a little. He thinks he’s so different to SW and WW yet he’s exactly the same! So his ‘members’ count calories and pay someone to help them lose weight no different to the big players. All out to make some money, the weight loss industry is big business!

Absolutely! Exactly the same as the slimming clubs. Even though he says his way is more sustainable there is nothing sustainable about tracking black tea, medicine and libalm. So hypocritical. I actually like Liam from Rebelfit, I see where you’re coming from as he can be vulgar and aggressive but somehow I find him much more likeable and eloquent than RH.
