I always found the TeamRH people I came across selling the plan rude and pushy and tarred those who followed other plans as idiots. They banged on about weight loss club fees as a waste yet reading the above I’d say they are worse! At least over who clubs are run on a pay as you go basis. It’s never appealed to me.

Apparently Richie said he had never been away on holiday with Rachael as they couldn’t afford it, then went away on a boy’s holiday 😆 He’s a knob! Must be raking it in. Cannot believe they’ve now involved that company, so much for being in it for the right reasons!
She must have nerves of steel being in a relationship with him 🥴 yeah... so hard done by I'm sure. People will stop paying them in droves and it serves them right!

Exactly, you sound like superwoman to me but they just think because people haven’t hit their steps or macros they’re not worth their time, regardless of the reasons why. A bit of empathy and compassion goes a long way but he definitely doesn’t have any!
It was short-term! I didn’t get a lunch break as I did school hours so it’s a short day. They just seemed to think everyone worked a standard 8hr day with 1hr break, or shifts etc. I didn’t ever watch telly at that time so I wasn’t wasting stepping time or anything 😂 I felt I didn’t fit in there.

Natalie & Liam! That was them. They both seemed very down, lots of ‘issues‘, and they were one of the poster couples for the diet.

Yes they both did really well with weight loss but I’m pretty sure they didn’t work and now “work” for Team RH so obviously it’s going to be a lot easier to stick to the plan when you’re doing it for a living!

I think anyone who was reasonably normal with real life commitments felt like they didn’t fit in there, myself included. Trying to make out people are lazy because they’re not hitting steps is unfair - I haven’t really had a full night’s sleep since 2013 as my little treasures don’t sleep well, I do a lot of driving and meetings for my job (so can’t exactly step on the spot in a meeting about children’s welfare!), often don’t get proper breaks ir lunch breaks and I barely even watch TV or read nowadays (I’ve watched one movie in the last 4 months) so it’s not as if I’m lying about doing nothing all day, but they would always twist it to make the person feel it was their fault.

I can’t believe how much they’re charging now for such a long term tie in, definitely makes them just as bad as the slimming clubs they slag off. And although the plan works, in my opinion weighing out lettuce leaves and forcing x amount of protein down your neck is still a diet and probably unsustainable long term!

None of these posts surprise me, infact these bad stories are mild to the stuff I have seen. I personally think Richie is a an awful human being, and Rachael is ultimately becoming complicit in all of his practices.

It is very much like a cult, ran by in my opinion a master manipulator. There plan is fine, it teaches calorie deficit, but that I believe is where their morales end, but surely they can't be that bad when the lovely smiling eye fluttering Rachael is there?

Some facts below what their members need to actually waken upto.......

1. Last June 2019, Richie did a victim playing live saying about how he works so hard that he does not have time to go away on holiday with his beloved girlfriend, this was all said whilst knowing fine well he was going away on holiday with the lads less than one week later. He has been away the last 4 years with the lads but does not take his partner on holiday, yet he tries to make it out he is unable to.

2. January they posted about last year, some people tried to bring him down, in reply what they did was work hard, put their head down and NOT RETALIATE. So that being said, is sending massive multiple page documents of threatening letters to ex staff and affiliate not count as retaliation? Yeah you put your head down and did not retaliate haha.

3. They make their staff and affiliates sign NDA's (none disclosure agreements), so essentially a document so what goes on never comes out in my opinion. They are just a weight loss group, I do not know of any other weight loss place taking such actions to keep a lid on things.

4. They are meant to be about making the diet world a better place, no pills, no shake diets etc. However they strive to make sure they are only ones giving this message, their affiliate contracts try to prevent them mentioning other people like James Smith etc mentioning the same truths.

5. Richie fights every single one star review on trustpilot, calling everyone who leaves a bad review as if they have an agenda. I rarely see people calling the plan (apart from app), it is the people and not the plan/business people are not happy with.

I personally believe this will blow up one day, there are loads of people with horrendous experiences that go way beyond just a bit ''tough love''. I liken it to the #metoo movement (not on the whole as extreme), but their are many many people deeply effected by them. Myself, I am one of many who can't stand to see them shared on my timeline, genuinely have PTSD symptoms I personally find them so despicable.

He labels these people as haters, we are not people who hate his plan, his business etc, we just see through him.

Or because people can have more free speech in the calorie club and it’s more difficult to censor them? 🤔 Clearly they just want everyone to be a sheep in their cult!
They delete any ''moaning'' from their group and have admins on the ready to delete any posts of ''negativity''.

Pulling up a chair as I’m interested to see what people have to say.

I can’t complain personally at the moment as I haven’t had any issues but hearing what a few others have said has opened my eyes. I must admit though that I don’t like how when they started out they were all about not trying to sell and push things like protein powders on people and now they have their own range of protein powder. They seem to have changed over the years but not in a good way and are now making money on the things they used to slate others for.
I recently seen their app and it was trying to sell scales on the part where you get weighed. Standard business sense some will say, but it is just so apparent in my opinion they are all about money over the morals of when they first started. Maybe they were always like this and now the mask has slipped.

They seemed decent when they started out a few years ago but it’s all unravelling now. He’s lost almost all of his affiliates and qualified staff, but blames it on all of them, and the “coaches” who respond to queries don’t have any official qualifications as far as I’m aware. He makes out as though he’s not in it for the money but is making millions now. He can be really unkind to people, much as I don’t mind the occasional bit of tough love and straight talking, I can’t stand bullying!
They have so many followers they jump on the smaller people with smaller followings. I personally think it was disgraceful the way they went on with an ex affiliate last year who stood upto them.

Richie in my opinion has to control everything and everyone around him, any affiliate or staff member who puts him in his place, he can't deal with it.

I can honestly say I've not once come across another online fitness group/page etc that will tie you into a year long contract. That's the biggest teller to me.. it's definitely all about the money.

He said a few years ago on a live along the lines of ''come join us, learn this for life and then you can leave'' (paraphrasing there), but now they are locking people into contracts.

Ashbourne management are getting a lot of stick here, however I still think (I may be wrong) that the final say is with Team RH. The reason I think this is because Ashbourne management do a lot of collections for gym memberships, since lockdown I have not seen one person saying they are getting debt letters from Ashbourne management for their gym payments, I imagine the gym has placed a hold on payments. So if that is the case, I think Team RH should be able to do the same IF they want to.

The affiliates are/were mostly really annoying, apart from a couple who are now part of another group. There was a couple called Natalie and Liam but I think they’ve split up now. They both seemed to have a lot of issues. They still “coach” on the group facebook page but I’m pretty sure they don’t have any qualifications, which is really unethical especially when people are paying good money! There’s another one who can’t seem to stick to plan and spends most of the time talking about gynaecological type issues.

There’s so much tea I can’t even remember half of it, they sent legal letters to one of the affiliates who left and were really harassing her. Some of the stories told on one of the pages I’m on are horrific if they’re true. I’m inclined to believe they are as I don’t think there’s any smoke without fire and there are so many people reporting bad things I think it’s credible.

Richie is so rude to people, as I said I can cope ok with tough love but he frequently borders on abusive/ is abusive which could be really damaging to lots of people. So many people I’ve heard were scared to ask a question on the facebook page which is so wrong. I also doubt Richie or Rachael have ever had a real weight issue so can never truly empathise with people like me who really struggle with their weight. In Rachael’s before photos she literally looks normal which is a bit of an insult to folk like me who need to lose stones!
Exactly, there is so much smoke in this instance that there must be fire. I know other people in the industry etc such as James Smith are not people's cup of tea, but they do not have these horror stories coming out about them.

How many times as a follower/supporter of them do you see them being the ''victim'' again, and not actually start to realise maybe it is actually them all along?

I’ve been tempted to join in the past but been put off by how unsympathetic they seem towards you not hitting the step count or how hard some people find it to follow a diet sometimes.

I have sat there in a SW group with my eyes rolling so far back in my head while someone has sat there in tears trying to justify putting on 3lb in a week and eating 2 grab bags of Revels on a 5 minute car journey from the corner shop to her house (defo wasn’t just the revels that did the 3lb 😂) and really just wanted to just shout oh FFS get a grip! But just always thought Richie comes across as lacking understanding of what it is really like to struggle with a weight problem, and with the best will in the world when I’m working I am in the car 4+ hours a day on average, eating healthily on the road is a proper struggle and like someone else has said I can hardly step on the spot in a meeting, I’m in sales and don’t think they’d have me back 😂

Had no idea about any of the money stuff though. My gym at the start of lockdown just said they were pausing everyone’s membership and not to cancel it etc. Haven’t been charged a penny.

In my opinion he is deep down a very unhappy person that has to control everyone and everything around him. He again in my opinion puts himself first in everything he does, he still diets at christmas, when unfortunately his family members are ill etc, whereas us normal folk will gain weight because we have a lot of empathy and sympathy for others, I firmly believe he has none of that deep down., he can't relate to people who put their children, family, partner, job before diet.

It’s not a ‘normal’ way to be. I am all about trying to be good 80% of the time to try and keep on top of my weight but like you say, other factors can and will take priority. I also have at the back of my mind too, would I rather weigh another 15 less lbs and lead a miserable and obsessive existence or have fun going out socialising and not be sat there with a side salad and a water while everyone else has what they want.

You have the right outlook, that is the way to live life. We all need a balance, it is too far sometimes living for your steps and cals.

You’re definitely right there. He cannot seem to see that just because he has no real responsibilities or dependents that others do. If I could only put myself first all the time I’m sure it would be easier to be super fit and lean, but I would much rather have my kids and family and put them all first because that’s what decent people do. If that means I might never get rid of the “mummy tummy” 100% then so be it!

I may be wrong but when there was the split with the affiliates. Big man allegedly threatened one of the affiliates that NN were going to sue them.as they had posted about another protein powder on their page.

The NN people liked one of her pics or commented (sorry my memory is not the best) so she dm'd him and said she was surprised they were liking/commenting on her post.and with the legal stuff probably best not to.

The NN people supposedly said wtf you talking about so she explained showed them.screenshots of what big man had been saying and they weren't too happy as they knew nothing about it and didn't want dragging in to it. (Not happy with big man not the affiliate)

If someone else was in the break away group and remembers it better than me they can add or correct me if I am remembering it wrongly.

I was a member and left after all of the bullying came out. I was always scared to ask for help in case he publicly shamed me with one of his ranty videos

Yes think you’ve got it spot on. Now lo and behold they’re peddling their own protein powder!

I was always scared to ask anything too, he’s a horror. No one should make anyone feel like that, least of all people who are paying your wages! He’s had issues with way too many people now for it to be any of the other party’s fault - definitely not the mr genuine he claims, just wish the sheep in his group could see it!
