He is aware of this thread to I believe as some of his posts have been based on topics discussed here. It must be driving him crazy 🤪

I do worry for Rachael . I don’t but the reason given for her being away. More likely he was responsible for that. He definitely controls everything and calls all the shots.

ha ha who is he trying to kid???
Misleading people for financial gain just like he accuses everyone else of in the industry (in my opinion). His picture he is saying he has gained weight, he is slouching, bad posture, poor draining lighting and purposefully looking miserable. You can still see some of his abs, there is little bodyfat over the top of them, I think he is exaggerating his gain.

Also he never fluctuated his diet when his grandad was dieing, yet Covid has effected him despite him never going out and socialising? Everything I believe is a ''hustle''. I see very unhappy person trying to control everyone and everything around him.

He may have ADHD but it's more probably he has some kind of PTSD stemming from from the trauma in his childhood. The symptoms are very similar to ADHD but medication tends not to be as effective (if he's even taking medication) and there's more success in going into therapy.
Could witholding something you may try to conceal bring on some of these symptoms also instead of being PTSD?

See he has a lot of arse lickers....more fool them
It is crazy that they can't see the absolute path of destruction they have left behind and still just attribute it to ''it is brutal honesty to help''. Look a few pages back when an ex affiliate was in absolute tears because of him, not the only one either.

Pete actually explained to me why he left when I messaged him & asked - it was the way people were treated, the fakeness etc, it was a very toxic environment to work in.

I think I’ll join his group when the kids are back at school. He seems like a nice chap.

It was short-term! I didn’t get a lunch break as I did school hours so it’s a short day. They just seemed to think everyone worked a standard 8hr day with 1hr break, or shifts etc. I didn’t ever watch telly at that time so I wasn’t wasting stepping time or anything 😂 I felt I didn’t fit in there.

Natalie & Liam! That was them. They both seemed very down, lots of ‘issues‘, and they were one of the poster couples for the diet.
Yes they both did really well with weight loss but I’m pretty sure they didn’t work and now “work” for Team RH so obviously it’s going to be a lot easier to stick to the plan when you’re doing it for a living!

I think anyone who was reasonably normal with real life commitments felt like they didn’t fit in there, myself included. Trying to make out people are lazy because they’re not hitting steps is unfair - I haven’t really had a full night’s sleep since 2013 as my little treasures don’t sleep well, I do a lot of driving and meetings for my job (so can’t exactly step on the spot in a meeting about children’s welfare!), often don’t get proper breaks ir lunch breaks and I barely even watch TV or read nowadays (I’ve watched one movie in the last 4 months) so it’s not as if I’m lying about doing nothing all day, but they would always twist it to make the person feel it was their fault.

I can’t believe how much they’re charging now for such a long term tie in, definitely makes them just as bad as the slimming clubs they slag off. And although the plan works, in my opinion weighing out lettuce leaves and forcing x amount of protein down your neck is still a diet and probably unsustainable long term!

RH is a slimming group too. I wonder how many clients of cal counting clubs regain the weight lost when they stop cal counting? I bet they have a similar rate of weight gain as SW/WW. I follow a few cal counting pages and all of them lost the bulk of their weight with SW/WW (two of them lost over 6st each) and joined a cal counting group to get the last 7lb off. However these cal counting clubs use their before and afters and claim the work as theirs. I’m a serial dieter and the only way to keep the weight off is if you implement life long changes to the way you view and eat food. If you follow a diet for 12 weeks and then immediately revert back to old habits the weight will go on. This is the same for WW, SW, RH, Munro, JSA etc. A lot of JSA members have regained the weight they lost initially when doing his challenges.
I’ve noticed this myself, lots of people on RH or Munro have lost the majority of their weight on slimming world then lose the last little bit on calories or macros, then act as though it was all lost on the RH or Munro plan which is essentially false advertising. I don’t think any of these plans are sustainable, weighing every single gram of food, double checking the nutritional information on the package or online and doing ridiculous amounts of steps a day is probably just as difficult to stick to long term than any other “plan”.

I’m shocked someone like Rachael is with him. He’s a narcissist. He once wrote a huge post on her on the page and he wrote something about how one of her friends dislikes him but he’d never stop her being friends with this person. I guarantee he has done what he can to make Rachael disown anyone who tries to make her see the light.
I can guarantee it’s not just one of her friends that dislikes him.

Really big of him not to handpick her mates for her. Dick.

Sounds like people have seen the latest post about eating out ... there are some sensible worried people on there but not many ... just completely disordered. Ill prob get attacked by the masses as ive advised a mum concerned about weighing around her kids, to not weigh bread etc because of the impact on kids and children see children do, and that 120 extra cals is a price parents have to pay for their kids, hat i know it goes against richies sayings but its about realistic

Now commentings been tirned off and my posts mentioning ED have been removed - but comments about scales and packaging left on there ... funny that

When she came back Richie said it was partly fatigue and partly that people were being too mean to her and it was taking a toll on her mental health. I wouldn't wish that on anyone but it's a bit rich of Richie to complain about people being mean.

I nearly signed up for this a while back after seeing rave reviews on another forum. Lucky escape!

Telling people to count calories in their medicine when they are ill, WTF?! If you are ill then losing weight that week shouldn’t a a concern.

You’ve got to still enjoy life while trying to lose weight. This just sounds horrific, and I think I’d rather stay overweight!

his product can't be that good if he has to rely on people paying upfront or trying to lock people into a £6.99 a month dodgy contract 🤪
Isn't the Team RH foundation based on how they aren't like other slimming companies who just want money? 😂

When your 12 months are up how do you cancel?
I emailed them through their website helpdesk a week or so before my year was up and told them I didn’t want to renew. I received a reply to say that the plan doesn't auto renew and I wouldn’t be billed further. It was only a few weeks ago so I’ll keep checking my bank account this month just in case, but I was automatically logged out of the app on the day my subscription ended. I can still see the members FB page though.

Thank you to whoever created this thread; it basically confirmed what I’d been feeling about Team RH for several months now. I just thought I must be wrong as everyone else seems to find them great. The principle of what they’re teaching is fine I just can‘t stand the constant bad language, and I’m not someone who gets offended or shocked by it but I find it unnecessary and unprofessional, and Richie’s better than everyone else/bullying attitude annoys me. Plus they now seem to be more about selling their merchandise.

I didn't know about the debt collection agency stuff! That's awful.

I did the diet about 3 years ago & was in the best shape I've ever been in pretty much! I was a bit taken aback at the start as its so confusing - YOU MUST WATCH ALL THE VIDEOS but its not clear where to start & in which order etc & there is SO MUCH waffle & repeating themselves. The videos could be a quarter of the length if concise (I used to do this for a job so was shocked it was so bad).

I'm not into the SW style 'hun' there-there stuff but the tough talk was a bit much as Richie seemed to go in on people who were merely asking for advice. If you train people up properly, they can do it themselves.

The affiliate thing annoyed me, that awful Brummie couple, my god the bloke could moan for England, who were they? Natalie and someone, can't remember the bloke's name, he had quite a pretty face.

The affiliate thing seemed to be going down the pan with the 'teacher's pet' ones now out of favour/ sacked & all sorts of rumours of bullying.

What a nasty little one dimensional bitch he is. Unfortunately"Lazy" is one of the only words in his limited vocabulary. God help if he ever had children, I genuinely don't think he would be able to cope. His mind wouldn't be able to comprehend that there are other more important things than steps & macros.

Why are people still paying him? He's bullying the people who pay his wages, where else does that happen? Their logo which I think is supposed to be people holding hands still manages to look harsh. Should be a big clown shouting at people.

One day he's going to bump into someone who he's been nasty to & insulted face to face.

I have just cancelled my membership, i joined last October, i was also sucked in by his 'banter ' which at first i thought he seemed genuine and amusing trying to get his point across through humour but as so as i signed up and realised what the actual plan consisted of i felt duped! a calorie goal and use of mpf!!
I have learned about nutrition but watching some of the lives, Richie came across as a bully who blames everyone but himself if the members dont lose weight, Everyone is slagging him off all the time blah blah blah it was so draining! it really is pathetic and his foul language was toe curling at times! In the end i couldnt watch him , something just doesnt sit right with me , i cant put my finger on it??
The cult and arselickers that feed his ego were so cringeworthy i couldnt bear to watch in the end!
Nobody is allowed to question his plan, no opinions allowed unless its saying how wonderful trh is!!So strange.
If his plan is so great why trap members into signing up for a year?
So glad to be away from his cult.

I see unhappy people who diet to silly lengths like Richie and Rachael, then telling everyone else to diet to unhappy lengths (may not be exact words but feel that is their approach). They go absolutely nowhere and have no social life (through their own choosing) and yet try to say they are down to earth/relatable.
Exactly this, they’re not juggling 2 jobs doing long hours at a desk, they haven’t got kids or people they’re caring for, they basically step/work out/eat/talk for a living so it’s their job rather than something to fit around everything else

Rachel disappeared a while back for a couple of weeks didn’t she.... I wonder what that was about.

I got sucked in & joined in the summer, as did my other half.We were both miserable trying to hit our protein targets and just couldn’t keep it up. Seems we have to pay for the year anyway even though twe aren’t following the plan anymore
She said on a live she had fatique and did not have the energy to do the workouts. I suppose it shows she is only human. But imagine if a member said that ,they want you to walk around your house or dance in your kitchen like a maniac to get your steps in.

This is so dangerous. Imagine being anorexic and seeing this and thinking “oh I must still be eating too much, not tracking enough, let me cut my calories even further so I can lose more” Christ.
Aaagghh this kind of mis-nformation all round drives me insane (am a PT) if someone could explain to those people what actually happens then maybe they would be able to understand what is going on. But noooo gotta keep them slaving away and confused and dependant on paying you money to be shamed. It's an embarrassment to the industry 😩

I mean he's *partially* right about the starvation mode thing and so many people use that term because that's what terms mainstream media, magazines and diet clubs use. If he could actually explain to them why it's incorrect and why the scale doesn't always move by 2lbs every week even if you are doing 20875477 steps a day, then people wouldn't be so damn confused and be able to accept non scale victories. But no he just calls them lazy fuckers. 😩
It's infuriating to read & I just feel so bad for those women thinking it's them doing something wrong and also thinking every trainer is like that.
