And then there are the ‘affiliates’....those who plug teamRH because they are brainwashed to the point of no return! Crissie and her 25 course lunches and Emma who is so in love with Richie that it’s sickening.

Richie has some serious issues going on. If you listen to him talk about his childhood it sounds awful. It's damaged him in an awful way but I think other people pay the price.

Rachael is (I suspect) in an abusive relationship, not physically but mentally. It's very telling that Richie says he has cleared the toxic people from her life. What he means is that he has potential totally isolated her from people who see the risks to her mental health.

I'll be interested to see if they stay together long term.
Jesus he should have got a cat from the rspca if he wanted to "save" something. That sets off alarm bells to me too. Something very odd there. He's unhinged.

This thread has opened my eyes a lot. I joined team rh 3weeks ago and have lost 6lb so far, and tbf its not the plan im finding fault with. The plan itself of counting calories, protein and fibre goals and walking lots make sense.

Its tje attitude surrounding it i dont like. This week richie put a post up lambasting people for sayinf eating healthy is expensive. Cue people agreeing and telling us how cheap aldi is, how much lentils cost and its all laziness. I posted around how for some people eating healthy is impossible- food deserts, food and fuel poverty,,etc. I posted how the cost of porridge is beside the point - im lucky i can either walk or fund transport to a cheap shop, am lucky i have the fuel with which to cook, am lucky that if i screw up a meal its only for me and ive not got crying toddlers amd no food in the cupboard. I pointed out that most of us are ok cooking dahl for hours as aside from having the momey to do, we can look forward to netflix and a warrm home, our comfort can come from things other than food. I signposted george orwells the rd to wigan pier and why if youre poor youre more likely to eat junk. Got not 1 like but people sharing how chesp lentils are got a personal reply off rh.

In the members fb group theres a member with a poorly toddler who is knavkered after a 12hr shift and who is desperate to fall asleep bit instead she 'stops being lazy' and stands next to the sleeping childs cot doing her steps. Lots of replies saying how wonderful and dedicated that is snd how easy it would be to give into the laziness. I posted advising it isnt laziness just exhaustion and sleeping is important but no reply.

'Making up steps' whixh makes it sound like ot cant be fun. Ive been in to doing sat down workouts in between work calls and my focus isn't on work but on weight loss which is bad.

Someone posted about doing their ankle in and wanting to get steps in - i was the only person who advised rest and to not try and workout. Others were saying not to drop your steps.

Apparently white bread, wraps, mayo etc ate shite! And if youre having wine and choc of an evening thats 20pc shite you cant have mayo on your chicken wrap. Ffs.

The whole calories in va calories out yet if youre not loosing its cos youre not hitting your protein or fibre.

Im all for going for walks which i actually really enjoy, and even a lunchtime sat dowm workout is fun, but stepping up and down mindlessly or getting up at 6am to do walkie talkies? Nope.

I hate how its always laziness, no it isnt. I actually posted this in the group and got shouted at 😂 by other menbers as i said its easy to tell someone to work harder and do cyz when the person saying this has few commitments themselves.

I posted how scanning every single thing cor lunch was taking too lomg (usually whack veg in a pan, atir thru grains, whack in halloumi, seperate inyo 2 bowls then halve ingredients. So if 88g halloumi in pit i halve it and 44g per portion). Been told thsts wrong and i need to spend 10mins creating a convoluted recipe on wfp. When in reality the food is getting eaten accross 2days so does it matter if its 50g on both days or 60g and 40g? Apparently, yes it does

Richie doesnt seem to listen to membets who dont sgree with him either. Ive not looked st the fb groups so much as it was getting to me tbh

Ive paid f the year so im gonnakeep going and see how ido asi have already lost , but no counting medications or obsessing over fb
this is exactly it, it does work, but also, where is the joy in life if all you are doing is counting every calorie and not enjoying cake on your kids birthday or just getting up at 6am marching on the spot. They claim it’s a lifestyle change, and definitely some of it should be implemented, but extremes lead to it being unsustainable. I don’t believe it teaches you how to learn how to eat intuitively or manage your portions or healthy foods going forward. Just focus on calorie counting forever. Richie just diets and bulks endlessly and that is his suggested plan for everyone. But it is not healthy and no better than being obese in my opinion. I’ve never been overweight and just wanted some sports nutrition and they were trying to push me into body building and eating 3500 calories a day! No thanks.

Yeah it’s all absolute nonsense and lies. I got to a point where I felt like I couldn’t even eat this week, like I don’t know what to eat, is it too much, not enough? I’ll only know if I humiliate myself with callipers in my underwear. I feel empowered and like myself again now. I’m going to actually sleep tonight. I didn’t weigh myself, I didn’t log my steps I had fun and laughed and ate a decent amount that wasn’t prescribed to me, especially knowing how it just becomes guesswork in the end or repeatedly getting fat.

if you go back a year in the bulking group, all of them have disappeared, bar the one who had put on so much weight in such a short space of time it’s scary.
I can guarantee you will receive all the help and support you need from Peter Preece. In the meantime , take care of you . Big hugs xx

Im 'back on plan' today and in a real conundrum. My scales broke hence the eerk break and i thoroughly enjoyed not weighing everything! But i know that i do need to lose weight, ive already paid for the plan and it does make sense.

But i dont like the name calling, the complete lack of empathy for those who struggle to weigh food. I do struggle because i work in a busy job and weighing my bagel individually and everything bloody else tskes twice the time to make it!
I enjoy going for walks but hitting the steps is a problem - im on 2000 right now, and workinh through until 5pm when im off to the shop for popcorn for film night with friend. Ill probably get to 10000 but struggle getting anywhere further.
Also its not k owing what to do - last time i think it was too many plates spinning with macros etc. For now im just thinking about hitting my calories and steps but its.difficully. if i smash my steps im not as focused on work and vise versa. And work has to come first!!

I asked on the group and wss advised to gp for walks when on work calls - i work with offenders, need to look at manuals and make notes while talking and besides its not very professional to have background noise of cars etc! Was advised to out wahsing away 1 item at a time - fine for weekends, but during the week my tasks need to be time effective not step effective

I also mentioned that i prioritise sleep to get 8hrs - ao if i go for a walk and get home at 630, after finishing work, ill be on around 9000 steps. Then itll be until 730 to make and eat tea. Then i am going to colour and watch tv or do an NA meeting as i need to gor my mental health, which takes mr to around 9pm. Then ill have a shower, cuppa tea and read in bed until 1030 when its bedtime. So not a lot of free time there to do steps in!! No one had any tips of course to help.
Well all I'd say is firstly don't stress about it. 9000 steps a day is better than none!
We have to do what works for us and our lives, don't let anyone dictate what you do.

Small changes lead to big things. Keep doing what you can, try and maintain a deficit where you can and whilst you may not lose as quickly as they think you should, anything that's helping to improve health is a bonus.

My nurse said to me they'd be pleased if people lost 2lb a month, if it was consistent ... it all adds up to embedd things which eventually become the norm.

Good luck, but sounds like you're doing real well already 😄

My friend just pointed out his whole ethos is one of an abuser. His hateful comments “I only hurt you because I care about you”

Completely! There was one video where you could see he had s short fuse. He didn't snap or anything but it was an awkward moment. Reacting to something minor. It was about a year ago I was a member.
She always keeps her composure, seems very nice, gentle, dare I say more intelligent? They seem like a mismatched teenage couple. There's obviously something keeping them together but I thought she wouldve outgrown him.
Could picture him down the pub with his top off being a lout 😂
I thought she would have moved on from him by now too, especially with all the drama he causes. Who wants to be bothered with all that? She maybe doesn’t want to as she’ll be raking in the money too, if she leaves him she leaves the company and the shedload of money they’re clearly making (even though they state otherwise!) Must be very monotonous day in day out sitting monitoring the facebook group, filming the same old workouts and filming yourself making protein based food. Can’t imagine I would last long doing that, need more of a mental challenge!

Preece Nutrition is £4.99 a month and he always takes the time to respond to people personally (he even sends voice messages). He has an actual degree, such empathy and knows what it’s like to struggle with weight. I would much rather give him my money than most of these others who have never really known what it’s like to struggle with their weight and have next to no qualifications, and next to no empathy for overweight people!
Peter is lovely. I was in RH many years ago and he was so nice we still chat now.

That’s Liam from Rebelfit now calling them out about the calorie tracking lipbalm etc. Hasn’t named them but it’s obvious. Hope it enlightens people who are giving RH their hard earned cash to effectively develop an eating disorder!
Oh my word he won't like that he's as gobby as he is🤣🤣 has he been reading Tattle by any chance? 🤪

Apparently Richie said he had never been away on holiday with Rachael as they couldn’t afford it, then went away on a boy’s holiday 😆 He’s a knob! Must be raking it in. Cannot believe they’ve now involved that company, so much for being in it for the right reasons!
She must have nerves of steel being in a relationship with him 🥴 yeah... so hard done by I'm sure. People will stop paying them in droves and it serves them right!

This is what I don’t get? Like I believe the caloric deficit thing. It’s science and it’s proven but why do macros matter?

So, I’m vegan , I literally live of fruit and veggies and quinoa rice etc and although I get plenty of protein through nuts, tofu and legumes I’d say my macros are around 20 fat/50 carbs/30 protein. I’m only 115 pounds but I’m trying to get to 100 (pre baby weight) I am steadily loosing 2 pounds a week just by being in a caloric deficit. My hubby who was 18 stone has lost 1.5 stone in 5 weeks doing the same thing!
There is no scientific evidence that you need to up your protein to lose weight! Unless your body building and wanting to really shred down and get rid of any “water weight” you don’t need to eat predominantly high protein foods .
Plant based here too - and the only way to stick to these diets like Team RH is via lots of processed shakes and products

What is their edge anyway just the support? People seem to make the same comments about them online like they're brain washed.

His disciples are pathetic too! Hanging on his every word!!!
To be fair I was exactly like this until a week ago when I had a fucking epiphany at last. I was genuinely thinking I wish I worked there, then I could focus on fitness all the time and get paid for it! Because it was taking over my life like a full time job.

Has anyone seen the post frok this morning? How someones been trolling rschael so he removed it without even showing her and send the screenshot to the blokes employer and wife. 1) how dodes he get to choose what Rachael sees? Shes a geown women 2) potentially losing someones livelihood. When someones voiced their unhappiness richie gets aggressive and shouts not to jusge them. Nasty
If he removed it in secret, what's the point in even mentioning it. Control freak he needs to see a psychiatrist 😳

I bet it wasn't even bad. I wonder what counts as trolling to him 🙄

Yes there is a member on there in the process of bulking up, i think shes well and truly sucked in by his bullshit! Looks horrendous in my humble opinion!!
I know. I am actually worried for her. Being told how to treat her body. If she wants to be bigger fine, if she wants to bulk and cut fine, but I doubt it is what she wanted when she started this. All of the people in that group need to be taught self love and some body positivity instead of “smash your goals, build that muscle” constantly.

Think maybe Rebelfit reads here 👋. Going in on RH in a very thinly veiled way this morning about how it’s all well and good calling people excuse makers if you have all the housework/ childcare done for you.

I adore Rebelfit, he is always calling out the nutters. He doesn't specifically mention TramRH but it's quite clear they are among the PTs he is targeting.
