I’ve worked out their modus operandi:

1. Think of an angry controversial statement that’s vaguely true or unprovable, due to inconsistent data collection
2. Attack a few people that argue against it on the post.
3. Allow the flying monkeys to attack people in the comments.
4. Sit back feeling superior over the fall out.

He’s even harsher within the group, it’s very uncomfortable to see him calling someone a lazy excuse maker when they could have all sorts going on in their lives that he couldn’t possibly understand. I’m so glad I left! I wonder if they’ll realise one day how difficult it can be if they end up having children or if their business hits the skids and they have to go back to real jobs?
That’s awful.

He would hate me, I often leave the house at 6am for work and don’t get home from work until 7pm, sit on the sofa in a daze (if I haven’t been intercepted by the pub on the way back 😂) then to quote my fav comedian Dylan Moran, ‘eat bread straight from the bag, dipping it in anything runnier than bread!’ Pretty much 😂

Would love to see some screenshots from the group of what he is really like 🤔

I don’t see Richie ever doing that. If I had hundreds of comments about how much of a knob I was I would take a lot of it on board and try to make changes!
[/QUOTE]

Yes, but Richie is a delusional narcissistic arrogant arsehole who thinks he knows it all! No getting through to people like him!!

Throw hi-fi bars at his head he'll love that 😆
Haha or replace all the protein bars in the shop with them :ROFLMAO:

Obtaining hi-fi bars would involve me going back to group although it would be worth it just to do that, I haven't been in about 18 months now and I saw my old consultant's minion (who does the signing in and shop at group) last week and she was like oh you should come back! I wouldn't mind, she is twice the size of me the cheeky bitch 😂

I was exactly the same, I've even defended them in the past. But the more you dig into it and the longer you follow their clique you realise how toxic they are. The final straw was deffo the heavy handed debt collecting. They fail to mention that when they are persuading you how much they care for you and how they will save you from evil slimming clubs. Plus I don't like how they are relying on a free app like MFP to count the cals but charge you £6.99 a month for info that's pretty much given out freely on their fb page and can be worked out with a BMR calculator. Not many overweight people need to concentrate on macros at first. It's not for me anymore.
Totally agree, I think people only need to worry about macros if they’re nearing their goal weight and/or weight loss has plateaued, or if they are particularly interested in fitness or a specific sport. I can’t believe they charge £6.99 a month and their app doesn’t even work most of the time! Apparently he cut corners with the app but he makes out he paid top dollar for it. Wouldn’t trust anything he said now!

I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have done any permanent damage from a short period of being a bit more restrictive and counting steps, but obviously I don't know anyone here. Here's my mini story if it makes you feel better tho -
A few years ago there was some big trends in the fitness industry over certain ways of eating. There were courses, workshops, seminars, videos berating you for being a failure and a crap PT if you and your clients didn't follow these ways of doing things. This was all from leaders within the industry and people you'd look up to. Hindsight is wonderful isn't it.

I ended up with some pretty serious issues around food for a while 😬 so I totally get how easy it is to be sucked in to something not too great while believing it's the right thing to do. It's a strange situation isn't it.
It took me being pregnant and thinking wow I don't have to do any of that anymore to chill out a bit and start eating properly. I still can't quite believe I ended up with an eating disorder that stemmed from feeling totally inadequate amongst other PT's.
Funny thing is there was absolutely nothing wrong with what I was doing before all that, only other people's opinions made me believe I wasn't good enough. So if trainers can get drawn into this no wonder everyone else does
🤷‍♀️
Much the same as me. I banned loads of foods groups, was trying paleo, was heavily into running and weights and things. Lost my period, didn’t care! I’ve been doing this now for about 6 months and have pretty much ended up the same. I was absolutely fine too. I look back at photos in July and think, why the hell did I sign up for this!? I looked terrible back in October I was walking 20k steps a day and tracking everything that I ate to the last gram. I have eaten a pizza and some ice cream tonight. It feels good.

And yes, being pregnant stopped me too, I was too sick to be picky over foods, then I was breastfeeding and hungry all the time so didn’t care. I lost weight naturally and healthily and was about 9 stone, I wish I still was and none of this had happened.

We have affiliates in our company (technology) so we give the affiliate a % of whatever revenue the new sign up brings in, so I guess they must get a kickback for signing up new sheep.
Yes they have a link and if someone joins or buy rh merchandise using it the affiliate gets a% probably next to nothing!

💯 has mental issues. He’s super aggressive much like RebelFit (he needs his own thread to be fair!). He needs to calm down and relax a little. He thinks he’s so different to SW and WW yet he’s exactly the same! So his ‘members’ count calories and pay someone to help them lose weight no different to the big players. All out to make some money, the weight loss industry is big business!
Absolutely! Exactly the same as the slimming clubs. Even though he says his way is more sustainable there is nothing sustainable about tracking black tea, medicine and libalm. So hypocritical. I actually like Liam from Rebelfit, I see where you’re coming from as he can be vulgar and aggressive but somehow I find him much more likeable and eloquent than RH.

And the
And the circus continues!!
I bet he freaked on her and accused her of all sorts. I bet he goes through her phone, stops her having friends, family. I bet she's not allowed to even go to Tesco without him. He would have been pacing around the house in a roid rage. Steam coming from his nostrils and burger nips dripping in sweat. He's absolutely vile. Must be like being held hostage!!

I’d count as best I could on MFP and be done with it. It’s one night. To fuck with taking food scales out with you or demanding to know exact ingredients. If someone did that to me they’d not be getting invited back in a hurry. I’d question whether they were ok.

When someone’s coming round, and I know they’re watching what they eat, in normal times, I’ll make sure there are things like pickled onions out, olives or skips...lighter nibbles. If they were coming round for dinner I’d do something not too heavy and let them help themselves to the portion size they want.

Oh my the level of arrogance is unreal and he is completely clueless if he thinks a stay at home mum does nothing. My mum was a stay at home mum and she never stopped! And theoretically I’m a stay at home mum at the moment (I work part time but I’m working from home currently) and it’s constant - tidying, making meals, doing washing, housework, food shopping, entertaining kids, out for walks, home schooling - more than he could ever get his self absorbed head around! Knob!
He does not understand putting others first in my opinion, no matter what happens he diets/works out. Whereas people who love and care for family, friends etc push diet to the side. If spending time with my family on a night rather than out stepping in cold or jumping up and down watching Eastenders is ''being an excuse maker'', then so be it! Better than having abs and not truly being happy.

Well said, it’s the members who are paying their bills so he should treat them with more respect. There’s tough love then there’s just being a douche!

Being overweight is a constant mental, emotional and physical battle. Some people who really struggle need a kinder approach. I’m exactly the same as you, I’m not the priority any more, my kids are and that’s absolutely how it should be. I would like to lose a bit of weight but I don’t want my kids to have a mum who prioritises working out over their needs and makes them think they need to weigh out every gram of food.
You're so right, life takes over & you need to prioritise, for us it's our kids. I'm the same I'd love to lose weight but it's on pause for now. That's such a good point, you want to focus on them & make sure they have a healthy relationship with food.

Wow that sounds like a threat, not a promise of help?! Why would you go after someone and start harassing them again, when they clearly don't want anything to do with you?!??! Care deeply 🤣 oh my. They didn't care at all till they left an honest review
They start all the replies to negative reviews with “we’re so gutted” I’ve noticed haha idiots.

Are the coaches and affiliates the same thing? I don't think that is the case I know someone who is an 'affiliate' and has a discount code for people to use but she's certainly not a coach as she has zero quals and is still losing weight in fact has a lot to lose, she is in fact is an ex juice pluser that Richie has deliberately got on board because of her following after a semi public argument, but she now does the RH social media thing.

For someone who rambles so much about multi level marketing his business sure looks like one
