I am a dog owner but I’ve picked up other people’s dog shits if I’ve had a spare bag. I remember how upset I was when my daughter slipped and fell in dog poop and ruined her winter coat (dry clean only). She got such a scare, she was only 3 or 4. If I had met the filthy dog owner that day I wouldn’t have been responsible for my actions.

Thanks for the comments. He contacted them and it’s all sorted, appears they were very helpful!

I don’t think their method is to everyone’s taste, but the basic principle of course makes sense. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I do feel like I’m eating too many carbs though! Such a switch from previous ‘one piece of bread a day’ diet plans.

Not lost anything in the first week, but I don’t have much to lose so the margin for error is smaller and I went to Zizzi last night. 😂

Yep! Hes a hypocrite!!

Another point to bear in mind, the majority of his members are women ,easy to bully women, (what a big man!!!..not !) be aggressive, play on their insecurities, they are already feeling crap about themselves hence trying to lose weight!
Love to see him be like that with a bunch of big blokes!
Like the previous person posted , he would shit himself!!, typical bully preying on vulnerable people!!
God knows what hes lime behind closed doors??
I have a story that is alleged, take with a pinch of salt, however from what I know of him I personally can imagine this to have happened very easily, but again absolute disclaimer here lol. Also can not remember exact details but you very much get the overview.

A friend of mine was speaking out about him on Instagram and got messaged by someone in North East (probably Sunderland area), he concurred along the lines of him being awful. However before he came to that conclusion for himself, he actually recommended Team RH to a girl at his work rather than join Slimming World. She joined, had reasonable success/failure, kind of stopped following it after a month or so.
However she kept paying her monthly membership despite not following it, and was always one of these things she kept meaning to do, to cancel her membership.
Then one day she was edging forward to drive onto a main road, she started to pull out and should not have, so although not causing a crash or anything major, she still had pulled out a little onto a road. So a van had to move a few yards across a lane and then the car behind had stopped/slowed right down. The car behind had a man shouting really aggressively, throwing arms, obviously effing and jeffing. She then noticed he was with a blonde girl, and also clicked on it was Richie and Rachael. She was really quite shook (not sure if it was anger, being scared etc), but she went home that day and made sure to cancel her membership with them.

I agree, and I also think he does it to be intimidating so people think he’s cleverer than them so are more willing to give him their money, whereas he hasn’t got any decent qualifications. He just regurgitates stuff he’s noted from online journals, 17 year olds do that when they go to college or uni! I also can’t believe Rachael left a career as a teacher to essentially be his shadow and bounce about talking on video. Yeah they seem to be making good money now but most of these things aren’t successfull long term and don’t promise stability. People are getting fed up of anything slimming related, especially now there are much bigger things to worry about due to covid. She should’ve kept some independence and made a life for herself that wasn’t 100% tied to him, it’s not particularly healthy anyway even when your partner is a kind, mentally stable person so it’s ridiculously unhealthy in their case!
Everything you have just said is spot on! I remember him saying she used to come home from work crying because she hated her job so much , until he came to her rescue and 'saved'her!......

That's my comment. It did happen, I don't have the proof that it happened because I left the group and can't go back in there to record that live if he even keeps them up.
I left a similiar comment a few months ago on a different group and had people commenting that they remembered it happening.

That's disgusting and outrageous, surely a new low even for them 🤨

Just registered so I can join in. Just been having this debate on a Facebook group. Not long after I joined I realised I had made a big mistake! I knew all the stuff. I was raging to be paying £6.99 a month to use mfp! He's such an angry ranty man. And the walkie talkies are so cringe. I tried to persevere but once the app started failing every day I stopped. Been fighting with Ashbourne I'm on maternity and partner lost job due to pandemic but they aren't for shifting. I can't wait for the year to be up. I'm now going to read all 7 pages of comments.
Don't let them bully you! They are a micky mouse company who make threats. It's absurd. If enough of us tell them to piss off there's not a lot they can do. They could easily release you if they wanted, absolute arseholes the lot of them.

Yeah the app problem was a thing when I was a member! Is it still bad? It had a cheapness to it. I felt like I didn't get anymore out of it than using mfp & fitbit for free.
I contacted them at one point & basically asked "is this it?" I thought there would've been more to it all after joining.
No it's crap! All it is is the videos you watch, some meals, some exercise, and links to buy their shit. If you need help the links take you round in circles. You still link it with MFP and put your weight, steps, water in. Oh and it tells you the macros. That's it really.

Found this on another review site, quite an interesting read!
They put a lot of effort in censoring bad reviews. After a quite good review I was disappointed the person fell for ''we are sorry, the ban from both pages was a trainee admin, there is 6 months access to an app for free). There is no excuse getting blocked for asking questions, 6 months access to an app that cost them £0 and blaming that on a trainee is absolutely in my opinion a lie and not good enough on any level!

When she came back Richie said it was partly fatigue and partly that people were being too mean to her and it was taking a toll on her mental health. I wouldn't wish that on anyone but it's a bit rich of Richie to complain about people being mean.
Exactly!!! Like i said before, hes a hypocrite! I bet he is the one person that is affecting her mental health more than anyone!....Not randomers on Facebook!

Im 'back on plan' today and in a real conundrum. My scales broke hence the eerk break and i thoroughly enjoyed not weighing everything! But i know that i do need to lose weight, ive already paid for the plan and it does make sense.

But i dont like the name calling, the complete lack of empathy for those who struggle to weigh food. I do struggle because i work in a busy job and weighing my bagel individually and everything bloody else tskes twice the time to make it!
I enjoy going for walks but hitting the steps is a problem - im on 2000 right now, and workinh through until 5pm when im off to the shop for popcorn for film night with friend. Ill probably get to 10000 but struggle getting anywhere further.
Also its not k owing what to do - last time i think it was too many plates spinning with macros etc. For now im just thinking about hitting my calories and steps but its.difficully. if i smash my steps im not as focused on work and vise versa. And work has to come first!!

I asked on the group and wss advised to gp for walks when on work calls - i work with offenders, need to look at manuals and make notes while talking and besides its not very professional to have background noise of cars etc! Was advised to out wahsing away 1 item at a time - fine for weekends, but during the week my tasks need to be time effective not step effective

I also mentioned that i prioritise sleep to get 8hrs - ao if i go for a walk and get home at 630, after finishing work, ill be on around 9000 steps. Then itll be until 730 to make and eat tea. Then i am going to colour and watch tv or do an NA meeting as i need to gor my mental health, which takes mr to around 9pm. Then ill have a shower, cuppa tea and read in bed until 1030 when its bedtime. So not a lot of free time there to do steps in!! No one had any tips of course to help.

Millionaires? They might be raking it in from memberships but I can only imagine how much they then spend and owe on all sorts of shit.
Check companies house down the years (millions have been made) and also remember they have little outgoings, their memberships is not a physical thing they have to buy to sell.

He is the worst human being I have ever encountered in my opinion. Their plan and most of what they say makes sense, it is the person in charge the problem lies with. He diets within an inch of his life all the time, sacrifices his family, friends, the girlfriend he tells social media it is all for etc, all for his diet. Normal people with human emotions will put family, friends etc before their diet. Rather be overweight than obsessed to that degree.

I have noticed that ''My Rach'' thing too for a while now, it is as if she is his property.

I very very much see this too

They will never have kids, I think that is the one way Rachel would start to see him the way he is if Maternal instincts kicked in. Now I personally think she is complicit in his actions, no smiley face on live videos will disguise that to me.

He just does not get why people do not put themselves first in life, he can't grasp someone eating loads of food for comfort after a hard week, a family member taking ill etc. So he disguises lambasting people as ''caring'' or ''tough love''.

Agree with every word. It is hiding in pain sight I believe. I have found the more someone tells you they are a good person, the more they are actually not. The more and more I see Richie say how he cares for Rachael, I personally believe he does not.
Agree with everything 💯 I really do hope people leave in droves and stop falling for the tough love act.

From what I can remember, Munro was a part of RH Fitness and lost weight. He then set up an identical business. Now I don’t know the ins and outs but I have been members of both groups and I know when I received the ‘welcome’ bumf from Munro it was IDENTICAL to RH! From what I can gather, Munro has since gone and got himself a more in-depth education on all things nutrition and Ritchie is still talking about Betty and bumholes!
You’re right, Munro was a “coach” on RH before it properly took off then went off and formed his own company. I think some of his content is very similar to RH however what Richie forgets is that he didn’t actually invent caloric deficit! At the time it did seem a bit sneaky of Munro but given all the horror stories coming out now about Richie I don’t blame the guy for cutting ties with him. Munro has actually got a nutrition qualification now which is something and his content seems well thought out and professional, although from what I’ve seen he has people on relatively low calories and very high protein so it’s potentially not particularly sustainable for lots of people. I think he charges a fair bit more as well but not sure how much.

He does not celebrate his own birthday and has even convinced his partner to do the same (certainly in previous years). [/QUOTE]

I was almost like this at one point and it is no way to live. On my 17th birthday I got blackout drunk off vodka because I hadn’t eaten anything all day to save calories. I wouldn’t have gone out at all if it wasn’t for the fact my friend had the same birthday and organised a night out. My step mum made me a cake and I took it into college on the Monday so it would get eaten but didn’t have any myself, I remember being literally scared of eating it! I can’t believe he’s encouraging people to be like this (not the drinking part but I was reading through comments on one of his posts earlier and did see people saying they’d forsaken food for alcohol to stay in calories). He’s deranged! Thankfully I am nothing like this anymore, as I said yesterday it’s my birthday this week and I’m eating what I want!

I feel like these fitness experts will go the same way as ‘clean eating’. Some day people will call the whole industry out as the unregulated, dangerous, eating disorder promoting, money grabbing band wagon that it is. That day can’t come soon enough!
I had orhorexia. If I ate anything “dirty” I’d have to cleanse / run for hours. I HATE that I’ve been suckered in by these bastards.
