Yeah like someone said on Twitter, if she knew today that the show would be cancelled, she would have known yesterday. Covid was one of the things mentioned because quite a few of her team had it, but personally I'm not sure I'm buying it as surely she could have replacement people step in? Given the situation knowing people might get struck down with covid, wouldn't you make sure you had backup plans?

Absolutely! If you were getting paid $2 million per weekend then you have a plan B. It's like the old vocal nodules excuse people use. A lot of people are saying she should just get a stool, piano and sing a set. I think people would appreciate it if they had travelled all that way. Another part of me thinks she can't do if without all the pizazz now. Some people paid $20,000 for scalped tickets.

Im officially back on my meds AND sleeping normal times so the wobbly emotions will be back in check.

Can someone change my bedding for me?

You should have asked yesterday! I made fifty beds up with fresh sheets glad your back on the drugs! Your mind will be thinking thank duck

I don't think it helps that I was in denial for so many years. I suffered a trauma when I was 15 and never really recovered. I used to self medicate with alcohol and drugs. It's only in the past 8 years that I've actually tried to sort myself out and only the last 2 that I've been taking my meds. Better late than never right?

I'm not very good at expressing myself in words and I know my grammar probably annoys people but I didn't learn grammar when I learnt to write again

@Penguin86 You don't annoy me in the slightest, I struggle with grammar too and spelling as well - case in point I just spelled it grammer and spell check saved me thank cruncy for spell check!

FWIW I think you have been really articulate and I think you are a lot harder on yourself than you have cause to be Please don't ever feel less than because you are not

We haven't planned anything just yet - I've got a day full of errands and I want to do one of my course modules this evening. We will go swimming at some point but the weekend seems to have come around quickly!

That's fair enough, I bet at times it seems like it's all just flown past! I'll be honest I'm just hoping for more tasty food porn posts before you go at least I had takeaway last night because you mentioned pizza the other day and I've not stopped thinking about it since

I resisted the urge to go back to bed. I have just had a long overdue pamper session. I have had a knee injury and arthritis in the other one. I couldn’t get in and out of the bath until recently, and even now I can just about manage it, it’s a right faff and a tsunami of water ends up over the floor when I get in and out. But I enjoyed it once I was in, used the nice products, read a book, now feeling buffed and clean and ready for the weekend. I wish I had a Gloria to clean up after me.

I don’t have a garden, which is a shame, I would love a bird table. But I can see trees and there are always racing squirrels jumping in them. We have parakeets where we are too (I am UK, nowhere exotic), they make a racket flying over. Luckily they haven’t taken root in my streets because they scare off all the other birds. I love to see robins, Cheery little things.

I don't have a garden anymore either @House of Tea but I love watching birds flitting about too, I think they are funny little characters

We've got swallows who nest in the eves and seagulls who make their nests on the roof every year and a healthy population of crows who occasionally bob about outside my window

I'd love to see parakeets just out in the wild as it were

This is not me, it’s a photo via Google, but you see loads of tame ones in Kensington Gardens in London. They are everywhere, like this. The ones near where I live are not tame.

I saw one in trees on my hedge boundary about 2/3 years ago first I panicked thinking oh no someone's lost their pet, spent a few hours everyday with arms out like scarecrow holding bird seed. Then found out we got little flock in woods about 15 miles away

I had to take a break just before NY for 5-6 days due to feeling extreme anxiety over some stuff in the MT (as dear @GoLibrarianPoo knows & understands ) I hope I have never offended anyone with a post as that was/is never my intention. I do feel very much in the minority for not feeling sympathy for her but that's ok, we can't all feel the same way. There may be some posters who think I'm a heartless cow but so be it.
I know I'm not, lol! I like BW, feel sorry for the attacks on her by AE/FM's & for her awful MS & I'm glad Ioan has someone in his corner.
I hope they last. Time will tell.

If there's such a thing as a #team then I am #teamE's & Emma & #team Ioan. Even 'ignoring' her abuse of him, her PA is for the 3 of them.

I am saddened & shocked at the news that Meatloaf has died after becoming very ill with Covid. He was such an amazing performer. My thoughts go out to his family & friends/all who loved him. May his soul RIP.

I have friends emails to reply to & another dish mountain to attempt to clear (again) which with my hands takes even longer. I have bags of recycling piling up (again) that I need to take downstairs but little energy to do it as this bloody fatigue is tit. I worry about if I do take some down will there be bins empty, cos' if not I will then have to bring them back up! I know I should do it every few days to stop it building up but I can get very overwhelmed by just some of the basics at times.

Not sure if/when I'll finally catch up, but I'll try. I'm very trying, lol!

I love a good nature picture! I took these ones lately and actually got the first 3 printed, using PhotoBox. I've framed them and am taking them with me to my remember my house - all are views either from the back bedroom window or the front. Sorry if I've shared already - I lose track!

Oh gawd no, not at all. ((( hugs ))) It was to do with some new posters & my anxiety (& over thinking) went through the roof. I ended up feeling pathetic, childish, ashamed & very disappointed in myself, so I had to step away. I've never been offended by any of your posts either. I may not always agree (as you may not with me) but I have much respect for you. It would be a boring world if we all agreed 100% of the time!
I will miss you from the MT but having been at that point myself I can totally understand. xxx
