Feeling really frustrated. I’ve been breaking out in hives multiple times a day for months. Im so freaking miserable and exhausted with it. It’s unpredictable and can be anywhere and I have no triggers I can think of. Finally get an appointment with a dermatologist and they run 0 tests, rush me through my experiences and then tell me it’s chronic uticaria, it’s an autoimmune problem and it usually goes away in 2 years.
I think the only reason I got some blood tests is because of family history. Had to tell them twice I was prescribed something because otc antihistamines don’t work long enough. Feel like I was supposed to just say “it’s cool, I’ll just suffer through this for a year or so”

My brother contacted me today (we live a few hundred miles apart). Told me his wife died a week ago, didn't want me to feel bad 😪 he tried to resuss with no avail. 42, sudden heart attack, never suffered ill health.
I'm heartbroken. They've had a bumpy ride in life and it seemed like things had settled recently. I'm worried about him. His mental health wasn't good before this.

Yet another negative pregnancy test tonight 💔

Makes it even worse when I have family members with 4-6 children each in social care because they abused them. Why can these people get pregnant so easy yet I struggle to. Life is bleeping unfair.

Sometimes when I get down I get really worried about my Grandma dying. I don’t have a mum or dad and my Grandma brought me up.

And like, she’s the only person I can call just randomly without anything to say, she’s the only person who’s just interested in my day even if it’s boring as hell. If something happens, good or bad she’s the first person I call. I have other loving family and my husband and friends, don’t get me wrong, but she feels like home. Sometimes I call her when I’m in a depressed mood just to hear her chat about her day and what she has been up to. I don’t tell her I’m in a bad mood, I just let her talk (she likes to talk) and it relaxes me. There’s no one else I can do that with. She’s 83 and in good health so it’s not like she’s unwell but she’s old and more and more I’m becoming aware that she won’t be around forever. I don’t think there’s a single person in the world who cares about me like she does. And that’s not meant negatively to my husband or anything like that but I just don’t know what I’ll do when she’s not here anymore.

A friend of mine had her mother die recently and had a similar relationship with her mother - talked a lot and was very close and it struck me just how lost and alone I’d feel.

I lost my mother young, and it messed me up but in some ways as I get older I wonder if it’s easier that way.

Sorry for the thought dump it’s just been on my mind and I needed to write it out somewhere.

I get you. I’m close to my Nan and she is almost 88 and her health is declining :(

I feel you ❤ I lost my mum 3 years ago and my nan, who was like my second mum, last year. They were the only women in my life and like you said they were my home. Sometimes I feel so lost and alone without them but then I know that they’re with me all the time. Their love is my strength to keep going. All you can do is spend as much time with her as possible and make lovely memories. Life is cruel and we all wish that our loved ones would be here forever. I remember having similar thoughts to you before my nan passed and sometimes I feel guilty that I spoke things into happening if that makes sense but I know that’s silly. I don’t really know where I’m going with this but whatever happens in life you’ll get through it. If you ever need to talk don’t hesitate to find me ❤

I’m sick and tired of feeling stressed and anxious. I’ve left my horrible job as I was offered another, I signed a contract but they now want so many bloody documents. Have supplied all but my totally irrelevant and unrelated certificate for my highest qualification and now they are asking for that! I’m panicked they’ll withdraw my job offer as I’ve lost it, it’s 15 years old!!! I’m just so used to things going wrong I’m always panicking and waiting for everything to duck up

Can you contact where you got the qualification and get them to reissue or to provide a letter stating you were awarded the certification? Explain what’s happening, I used to work in a uni admin and this happens all the time.
That sucks, I’m sorry I hope you get help in sorting this out

Something has changed lately regarding checks for starting work. One place asked me to pay for a new passport, a birth certificate and a dbs check, plus asked me for proof of employment between 16-18 over 40 years ago!

Having been cleared to work at the MOD, Cabinet office, treasury, Bank of England and the police, I told them to forget it

What if I can’t get it? Will they withdraw their offer? It’s only a tit childcare qualification and this is a bloody admin role. I can’t cope with this

you will be able to get it - all you would need to do is go back to the education authority that you passed with and ask for a copy, but i think it can take a few days.

i would explain that you don’t have the original version but can apply for a certified copy if needed. if they want confirmation now then ask the authority if they can confirm via email something like “jade jones did pass such and such with us on this date” so you can forward it to them.

I feel like I'm just existing, rather than living at the minute. My sparks gone. I'm busy all the time but I'm so bored . I lack motivation too. I'm full of rage and full of resentment.

I am trying to do something about it though. I think a lot of my rage is hormonal, but obviously there are situations where my upset is justified. I'm trying to do more fun things , and treat myself more .
I'd ended up in the habit of feeling guilty if I spent any money on myself.

I am nearly at the 8 week mark from my wife cheating on me and leaving. I feel like I could burst into tears at any opportunity, when does this pass???! I feel so lonely and lost..
This is deep I know, and I am alright it's just this time of night gets me. I still think about her every single day and it's draining the life out of me 😭
Somebody cheer me up 😂

You deserve to spend money on yourself, what makes you think you aren't worthy of that?

I also felt like I was just existing and full of rage, then my wife cheated and left me and all of a sudden I feel nothing one day, like absolutely nothing, and the next I could break down into tears. I am so full of resentment but also just so lonely and lost.

Do you have support around you? Is there anything in particular that is making you feel like this ? I really hope that you are ok ❤

While writing this it took me away from hurt and overthinking and it actually makes me realise how I'm not the only one hurting right now and it must get better. Although this forum can be full of horrendous comments, this place helped me right at the beginning when I was in my darkest days.

Went through the same 25 years ago. Wanted a kid so badly it ate me up. You see bad parents everyday, especially shopping.
Eat well. Folic acid. Stop drinking and smoking. Don’t drink coffee or eat mushrooms or foods with chilli in it.
Go find an acupuncturist. I’m not joking. Show your body you mean business. Acupuncture is a really good method for fertility issues. Give it at least three months regular treatment. The needles and the teas. Please give this a go before you try all the nhs route. Find a good acupuncture guy in your area. It worked for me.

Never heard of the coffee/chilli/mushrooms. I don’t eat a lot of chilli, don’t like mushrooms but love coffee 😅 don’t drink or smoke so safe there.

I might try the acupuncture tbh. I’ve been debating it for a while as my cousin said it helped with her back pain, which I also suffer with.

Thanks for advice x

Hi, sorry didn't know where else to post but just needed to write something down somewhere. An old friend of mine passed away today from cancer. They was only diagnosed earlier this year and didn't even tell anyone until recently. I haven't seen them in years as we don't live near each other, although we did still chat online. I just feel so numb and empty. It was just so fast. I can't wrap my head around it.
