I don’t really go clubbing anymore but I really want to go on a night out with Nikita… he seems like a right laugh.

Nikkita mixing up line dance and lap dance! 😂😂
I'm gonna need a lap dance from Nikita. He's so adorable!

And I think John really just became a gay stereotype there, posing to show how muscular he is and coming out with every gay icon from music. 😆😆

Also, Nikita has really nice legs and I love him wearing short shorts. 😍😍

First time on this thread. you guys are obviously hugely invested in Strictly and know about dancing and I wanted to ask who do you think are the best professional jive dancers? I have my own views on the contestants.

Kai and Gio. Both have form for teaching this well too if they have a half decent dancer.
There are a few video's on youtube of them doing Jives at competitions and together during one of Gio's shows.

Are all the kids school classes in their covid bubbles too then? Surely when she's particularly vulnerable having had a big flare up that's a big risk in itself.
She had Covid at the end of September though, so in reality she’s very unlikely to be at such great risk of catching it again just now that she needs to do a self-imposed isolation in someone else’s busy family home rather than with her own family/fiancé.

(that’s aside from the fact that the whole ‘Strictly bubble’ thing is a blatant lie)

Is she? I don't know anything about her. Why?
The only thing I remember about her that I didn't like was she lacked warmth/humour. Some people are ambitious performers, and interesting that gorka observed (as a compliment) was that as soon as the music came on, her eyes lit up, and she was "on it".

Don’t forget she was mourning the death of her mum at the time, it must have affected her mental well being, she was still very young.

Yes.
I'm amazed there's been a few celebs who have continued dancing on the show with a parent dying. Kelly, Ugo :(

omg jack savoretti on ITT 😍😍😍 and that song was gorgeous, although it reminded me of "it's a wild world"

Alexandra - I feel - expected to do well. She is talented and ambitious and driven. All very admirable. She was mourning her mother, which of course affected how she came across. Unfortunately the great British public does not vote for confident talented young women. It votes for cheerful men who try really hard. Like Dan. And sometimes men who cry a lot like Ore. Rose is getting the vote because she has quite an offbeat sense of humour, she’s so funny. I think that is her secret.

I think it was after Alexandra’s jive when she broke down and said “I just wish my mum was here” and I felt that was a genuine moment. In all honesty, I didn’t see many more but then I’ve never warmed to her. Her mum died early morning on the day of the launch show and nobody would have blamed her if she postponed it a year. I doubt the BBC were forcing her to do it.

She appears to genuinely believe the only reason she didn’t win is because Gorka was seeing Gemma and was distracted. They both always said they would meet for a coffee on a Sunday when everyone had the day off, and they didn’t properly get together until after the show ended and I think that’s believable. Alexandra just couldn’t accept she didn’t win because she wasn’t popular.

The funniest thing about her is when she said on breakfast TV she’d invented the phrase ‘an elephant in the room’ 😂

I don't think it's a gender issue, it's just personality

One of Neil's friends got axed from the Irish version and I'm pretty appalled to read that the show is body-shaming their pro dancers and also waiting until the 11th hour to renew contracts (after over a year of dancers not being able to get much work).

I hope Strictly treats the dancers better because this is not on!!

I see Amy is back dancing and appears, gasp!, to have moved out of the Fletchers, if Tom dining alone is to be believed. Where will she stay now? Will Aljaz and Sara take her in?

There were rumours that Chloe Hewitt was axed because she was getting a bit bigger.

Wow this is a shock!!

I wonder who are the other 4 pros he’s referring to who haven’t been re-contracted either?

I wonder if he's counting Kai as one of them even though he chose to leave. Giulia & Robert Rowinski are two of them IMO, both are in their home countries and haven't travelled back to Ireland this time.

Its hard to work out as it seems that everyone is back in Ireland apart from Giulia, Robert and Kai.
