I’m not on social media at all; the reason being I see no good can come of it. This sort of thing supports my view. Twitter, most of all, is an absolute cesspit, home to foul creatures such as this horror show.
I do, however, believe it is within OUR gift to change that. Delete accounts and lobby MPs for legislative change. The only winners from shares, comments and clicks are the account holders and the platform. The media can do better too - by blackballing the likes of Stephen Bear they withhold the oxygen of publicity that he so desperately needs. They’ll also help redress the misogyny imbalance and normalisation of porn, so our kids don’t grow up to think this behaviour is normal. It’s not.
