Unfortunately it differs depending on the department administering the aid. Legal aid is administered by the legal aid agency, which falls under MoJ. Whereas the sort of aid you required would come from either DHSC or your local authority I’m assuming. Each have different budgets, policies and processes, so isn’t comparable.
