Oh this might tempt me to pick it up for my Switch. I have played on my iPad and PC before and much prefer playing it handheld on my iPad.The new update is finally coming to Switch on 4th Nov! I've held off playing on my PC for so long because I prefer playing on console so I'm excited to finally get in on the action

Am kindi happy the update is finally coming to consoles, although with the amount of mods I've put on pc I might find it hard to go back to no mods

I am on year 3 on my new farm from the update. The new farmland feels massive but I guess it doesn’t have much separating things like some of the others I’ve used. I still think Four Corners is my favourite though.
I also went Joja for the community centre for the first time ever! Much easier but I still felt a bit icky at myself!

but on pc I have the anime portrait mode an some of them look pretty cute that I might marry others
I've only done the joja run for the achievement, it does make it a ton easier an you can complete it all pretty fast if you grind fishing, but I kindi enjoy the hunt for things with the community centre so I tend to stick with it

Do you use mods? I've only ever played the game og version but some gamers on youtube swear by some mods. I'm especially interested in the ones that make the fish visible and the reflections mod (it gives puddles after rain and at night you can see stars reflected in the lake cute). Might try them. I try not to get ones that change the game too much though, the only one I have that does change it a bit is I have stardew expanded so slightly bigger map an some extra characters, other ones I have is the speed mod which gives me same speed around the map as what the horse gives, an the skip mini fishing game because am not a fan of the fishing, then the others I've got are just for looks like changing the style of buildings an portraits etc But there's thousands of them, you can get new maps, new characters, new clothes, new events like market day, dates with the character Halloween an Xmas stuff, new fish and veg etc even new storylines of characters an being able to marry some you can't like Pierre

I know concerned ape encourages it and people like it but I just think it isn't for meYeah I feel the same haha, it looks fun but I'm already invested in the valley as it is. I'm currently TRYING to like ginger island. Just got there for the first time. I've built the farm house but I'm bleepin sick of the walnuts. Definitely just gong to buy them all.
I bought them all! Bankrupted myself but yeah I was NOT doing that - I hate the island, I rarely go

There's a bird next to the volcano that sells you them all
I love the island but walnuts can get tedious especially after the first few dozen. If anyone doesn't want to spend the money, I'd recommend checking out the walnut run videos on youtube, a lot can be found without going into the volcano once you know where to look, and you're using good/great luck days for it. I bought the last 15 or so walnuts in my second save but knowing where to find them made it easier to gather the rest. My first farm is still a mess because I couldn't be arsed to try any longer and the game didn't have the joja bird back then

Though I only bother going in to farm dragon tooth and cinder shard tbh. Hate collecting both, I wish we could use crystalarium for the shards as well
