What, no mention of the canned fruit suspended in green jello in the bundt-pan mold?

Or was that before your time, you whippersnappers, you!

They talk about how expensive the wheelchair fittings and such are, and then go on a cross country vacation? Those air BnB's are NOT cheap, plus traveling with Shane has to be annoying AF. So instead of being an adult with a real disability and making the sacrifice to have a chair that will be more comfortable in, that you literally spend every waking second in...you are going to go on an unnecessary trip, risk your safety and health in a pandemic. Plus, there are storms where the driving may be hazardous, and Shane would not survive an accident, or even if they broke down....omg, they are so FRUSTRATING. And all the comments are like...oh have a good trip, love you guys, omg so funny... seriously?

Do we know why they're even going to LA right now? Is it for a vacation or some kind of business/speech trip? Either way, I don't understand why they don't postpone the trip until Shane's new wheelchair can be used. Everyone has to wait for appointments and pay co-pays, not just him. Actually, he's able to get those appointments and pay easier than most people with a disability. It's so fucking annoying how entitled they are. No, we can't wait to go to LA because we hate the cold and wah, wah wah. We'll just wait until we get back to fix the issues with the new chair and make appointments. We can't miss out on another vacation, come on guys! Even though, last time they traveled Shane got really sick according to them. Any way to potentially get Hannah's butt in shorts or a bikini to clickbait that makes a bit of sense. Clearly my priorities are skewed lmao.

What gets me is that Shane is so incredulous about paying $1000 for adjustments. His out of pocket portion for that Mercedes Benz of a wheel chair was $5500 when the actual cost was $120,000. When I found out that my insurance was going to cover 2/3 of my root canal and crown, I leapt for joy and felt so grateful for my insurance. He acts like this is just one more way that the disabled get shafted. Sorry but if he only had to pay 4% of the actual cost, then he’s among the privileged. As far as the $1000 for adjustments, I say get over it. That’s probably to cover these incredible specialists travel expenses which insurance never covers. I learned a long time ago to never complain about the costs of things that others can’t afford. It’s not a good look. Consider the fact that their gas to get to LA will be about $400-500 in that Envoy and their 5 Airbnb’s will be well over $1000, I’d say he’s demonstrating what matters to him and what doesn’t.

Right? Like why are they even going, and what's the emery? They don't have real jobs, they can go whenever they want. And that custom wheelchair is such a luxury, but they don't want to have to pay? They can afford that huge house and vaca to LA, but they cry poor mouth when it comes to things that will improve the quality of life. I want to say something in the comments so bad.

All those bags are either not just for Hannah & Shane or they're planning on staying in LA for some time.

I bet Liz or a caretaker is going, because there is no way Hannah is doing this alone. And if they are so obsessed with the warm weather, why buy the mansion in Minnesota?

Half an orange upturned on a cut glass plate, adorned with toothpicks bearing little cubes of rapidly drying cheddar, red and green pickled pearl onions and sad wee slice of tinned gherkins.

Okay fine. I’ll show my age by joining in. Finger sandwiches, Swedish meatballs and and obligatory cheese ball that looked like hell the second it was cut into!

I remember when I was about 9 or 10, white bread was dyed pink and light green! I think it was a shower that my Mother and I went to. Dyed bread was a bridge too far for my Mother I had an auntie who made cheese balls with pimento studs

I absolutely remember! Those little sandwiches were considered extra fancy if cut in a diamond shape!

S and G might want to shorten their stay in LA. What are they going to do if Shane gets Covid in LA and Hannah doesn't have her mom there to take care of all of the "scary" phone calls to advocate for Shane's health? We'll see what happens over the next 3 months of their stay. With the advent of modern technology in Zoom calls, power points, emails etc there's no reason either of them has to travel for work.

Far out … what do they they’re invincible? Covid is eating through 3 booster shots . Shane is the type everyone is trying to protect with all these shots for the herd. He shouldn’t be leaving the safety of the mansion

Maybe she sees herself as more marketable for the telly if she can don widow's weeds.

Lol, I know, I would go mad with the gurgles and corny dad jokes every second. Plus the amount of physical labor involved, as much as they want us to believe that Shane is independent, he really isn't and requires 24 hour care. Plus the dog. And the air bnb they rented is huge, which makes me suspicious that Liz did go as well
