If you look at those arriving every day on the boats most are chancers/economic migrants they are not escaping war …we know nothing about them they throw their papers…anyone with any sense would be fearful we don’t know their background . Most have views on women that belong in the Stone Age…it needs to stop and be controlled.

We had a group of Muslims come out to 'stop' the EDL at the protest in my town. They have every right to defend themselves, after these pigs have been targetting them for the last few days. Innocents being battered in the street because of the colour of their skin or religion etc.
The whole situation isn't ideal and as we have all said multiple times, they have lost sight of what they are protesting for but if EDL and Britain first want to go around attacking innocent people, over an incident that had nothing to do with their 'kind' or their 'religion' then why should they not defend themselves, their businesses and properties.
What was it someone was saying about trolls on other forums but not tattle again?
Thinking about it I don’t actually know any religions that don’t encourage modest dress in places of worship. I know very little about Buddhism and some of the more modern religions.
To answer your question I think the impact on the infrastructure if we stopped unchecked immigration would be initially negative then improve - wages would rise to fill posts. I think it would support the currently 22% economically inactive population to get a job and be productive.
Can I ask what do you think the outcome is of another 50yrs of unchecked immigration (and it is unchecked as there is hardly anyone being returned to their country of origin). Also I still can't see an answer to my comments about migration and the impact on already deprived working-class areas.

I don't know how to break this to you, but some Mosques, Gurdwara's, Synagogues, Churches etc even operate as food kitchens for homeless folk at times and people are welcomed in, in whatever they happen to be wearing.
Years ago I was in East London with a friend when someone accosted us to come to the open doors event of the mosque near Whitechapel. My friend was wearing a mini-short and asked if she could go dressed this way. They said yes. So we visited the mosque with a light piece of tissue on our head (not a Hijab btw) that they gave us even though my friend was wearing her mini-short. It went well.
Just for the record you need to cover your shoulders and knees while visiting churches in Italy. They are quite strict about it. Some russian orthodoxes even ask women to cover their hair. What's your view on it?
I think women should be able to wear what they want although I have a certain tolerance for requirements inside religious buildings. A lot of them have some sort of rules and I take it that I am visitor so I abide by it.

I live on a street where the majority of people on it are from other cultures and you know what it's the nicest community i have ever lived in.
The most trouble on our street comes from a white British family who have raised 4 moron children who can barely string a coherent sentence together and don't seem to contribute anything to society.
Give me my hard working, respectful and kind muslim neighbours next door any day. They have never once shown me or my family anything other than respect and kindness.

Ok fair enough. Thought the reason for socks in soft play is due to hygiene and the trainers thing in clubs (not that I have been to one for years!) was more to do with them gate keeping the image. I just feel the respect is a two way street. I’m not going to show up in a bikini and hit pants because I don’t have the figure for it out of respect but the whole idea of ‘modesty’ is misogynistic in my opinion.
Anyway this whole situation is an absolute tit show.
