Most have community areas and kitchens where you can eat without wearing one, you probably won't be in the prayer hall. But you can check with your local mosque and take a scarf if unsure.
The thing is, once people are so far gone in their „opinion“, it doesn’t matter if you point out facts to them, they won’t believe them. The big problem was that the Tories stopped processing claims and just shoved them all in hotels or the big barge meaning they were unable to work and pay their way and they were able to go missing and get lost in the system. They also stopped cooperating with the French authorities due to Brexit. I believe that Labour have already started to do this and have already sent people back who's claims for asylum weren't admitted and have started processing the huge back log.

That’s fair enough but why should I have to wear a scarf? If it was my religion and I chose to do it then that is one thing but it isn’t welcoming to ask me to wear a scarf hypothetically to just engage with people when I am not religious.
You don't need to wear Hijab to enter a mosque. It's respectful to dress modestly and I have thrown a scarf over my head in the past to attend a funeral/wake/memorial service but if it wasn't for something like that you would not need to.
Just to point out, I did something similar when I was in the Vatican. I didn't have to like.
Of course. Non-Muslims who visit mosques aren’t forced to wear a hijab or niqab, but many do out of respect (just like if you’re on holiday and wouldn’t necessarily wear a bikini top and hot pants while visiting temple for example).

I remember these drifting up north. Any excuse to trash and loot.
