I'm so tired of the pregnancy posts. Must be nice being able to laze around the house for a week, just because. You're not the first or last, Sofie. And there's a reason people in other countries have learnt not to assume a woman is pregnant. It's rude. Her snarky attitude about it comes from her stick figure privilege. What would her friend Danae say? 🫢

I've gone from liking her overall and now I can't stand her lol.

Lol! I forgot about Sicily @moronglace She mentioned Venetian dialect too! And I thought the same as you --they do understand standard Italian. It's not like people, esp working in tourism in either place, just speak dialect to people obviously not from there. Sure, she probably doesn't understand some conversations around her, but she probably doesn't understand Italian either. Case in point...your mentioning trying on the dress. Lol

Exactly, I understand wanting to understand "dialect" (I say dialect like this because for me they are totally different languages, a few words here and therenwill not help) when you are really fluent etc but at the point you don't even know standard Italian...also her friend's amazing teaching account..do none of her fans realise she clearly is advertising 2 competing things?

I'm assuming she was looking for engagement with her "Anyone know any shops that sell maternity wear that ships to the EU?" As if there aren't maternity lines at places like COIN or Mango, or EU shops online.

Funny, I remember in her old videos (granted from like 7+ years ago) she said she was nowhere near qualified to teach Italian so she hesitated at a viewer suggesting/asking. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures… but tbh even though she’s good at Italian I don’t think she should be teaching beyond basics because her grammar can be weak at times.

She included some comment from someone saying how she speaks like a native. 🫠 Lol. Yeah, she's far better than most but she wavers too. For now it seems it will be like some chatty little ...thing? I don't know how she's going to structure it ...maybe the token "I'm ordering at the bar" and various themes? Like @emm mentioned, her subs must be all different levels so it will be interesting to see how it goes.

Don't lives earn money? I watch tiktoks but not often and never a live, but I've read how different influencers do them for the coin.

I wonder what's so stressful about the job, though? She reposted the article about SR bring a mom friendly workplace and products are safe But if it was stressful before, I'm not sure how it wouldn't be now. And it's still BS she doesn't disclose working there. Though at least she stopped promoting the products.

The companies she does collabs with are quite bizarre.and how cringe her thinking nori was an Italian word?! How had she never seen that in the US on a menu or something?

I’m inclined to think so, @Denise0211 - remember she made a video in like 2018 when they were supposed to go spend thanksgiving in the US and they cancelled the trip because someone in Emilio’s family passed. I assume that was his last living parent.

The undisclosed ad contracts with Italian with Davide must have ended because registration for his classes is closing in a few hours and there haven’t been any ads by the usual people.

I cannot believe she would be so blatant about it posting on social media. Influencers really just do think they are above the law

I know! In one comment someone asked if she had her Italian license and that's where I replied something like if she doesn't, with her status she's risking it. Maybe she counted on being in lawless Roman streets nobody would care? But yeah, the US doesn't have a reciprocal agreement for converting driving licenses. If she wasn't also an Italian citizen she'd have been ok for a year (if she had residency). I assume she since figured it out since she hasn't been driving since.

This is such an English attitude "I speak multiple languages" as if it is so impressive. The majority of Europeans (not including English people) speak more than one language. Anyone else wondering if something has happened with the bf and that's why she's not going back to Puglia?

That said, I think they did a coppia di fatto permesso request. I see she got a Carta di soggiorno but I don't think they got married. Unless that will be a big reveal , haha.
