i thought the elephant in the roon was supposed to be that the pandemic is still on but we are ignoring it
thats exactly how I read it too

either way. If it causes confusion, it’s a shit costume

It’s not even attending the party that annoys me tbh (it’s legal/what ppl are personally comfortable with even if I personally wouldn’t) - it’s attending a party and still somehow thinking you have the moral high ground over everyone else at the same party for me 🤪 covid doesn’t infect the self righteous apparently 😌
precisely this

Hank is probably pacing around her garden because he’s bored shitless and desperate to go for a decent walk. Give him enough exercise & he’ll be more relaxed at home.
I'm not a dog expert but isn't there a risk that without enough exercise he will become frustrated and possible aggressive?

She has a little garden that he goes to for the toilet.

I mean, Sofie admitted many times herself that as much as she loves dogs, she wasn't in the best position to take care of one.
well at least she has a garden, that is good. Albeit not enough for exercise... I don't get why you would get a dog when you know you can't look after it properly?!

Jesus, it is exactly what I feared.

Thing is, it is okay to hate little things like this but most of us just let little things grate on us but we never mention it outloud, let alone broadcast it on social media to thousands of strangers.

It is hilarious to wonder why she felt the need to note that she is Danish and therefore doesn't have the same perceptions but then disclaim that she loves the rest of the dialect.

Did they ever actually get into why they dislike it so much? Seems bizarre. And also kind of irrelevant because I think most northerners wouldn't spell it as 'can you help us' but 'can you help is' almost.

Not being funny but Sofie is 100% the type to go off on a twitter rant about someone who doesn't understand they/them pronouns because they're claiming it is only plural but now it seems sofie cannot fathom that this wouldn't be talking in the plural. Baffling.

ETA - I wonder if they've ever met someone from Yorkshire where it is quite common to say things like 'Let wuh get past' - as in 'let me get past' but i think is closer to sounding plural than their north eastern example.
Precisely she is Danish, not English. She can find accents funny (or just don't understand them sometimes, like myself😂) but who is she to judge? She is just haughty af, like she comes from Danish royalty herself lol

Potentially unpopular opinion here but I am straight sized (if that’s the still the right word?) and whilst I respect their history absolutely hate those chairs and wish they’d get rid, they’re bum numbing and sometimes they’re at such a downwards sloping angle you think… surely after however many years I’m not gonna be the one to take this chair down?

It’s like a lot of what she has to say is so close to being a fair point re: accessibility but she takes it to the nth degree and alienates people that would otherwise engage with these convos.
What good points has she made about accessibility? Finding a chair uncomfortable is not an accessibility issue 🤷‍♀️

She totally messed up by trying to co-opt the term 'queer' for fat people, but she can't just say she was wrong and say sorry.

(Also, please tell me I'm not the only one wondering why she needs to buy 25 pairs of identical black pants - doesn't she not do laundry?!)
Oh my God I thought this too! It's insane and seems so wasteful, I imagine they weren't cheap either.

Why is she fingering a throw and talking about how she emasculated her dog? The dog is probably just annoyed that she hasn't walked him...

the "4 chocolate mousses for breakfast" thing reminded me so much of my behaviour when i had problems with binge eating. Buy something in 4 separate pots and swear to yourself you'll only eat one a day, then you eat one, want another, then you're thinking "oh well, had 2 now, might as well just eat the lot"..... regardless of how you feel about weight and size, it's just not healthy behaviour. (I thought at first it was supposed to be a joke as she's a "comedian" but none of the rest of the video was funny 🤷‍♀️)
oh LOL 100%! it's the reason I never buy pringles, I can't just have a few and leave it in the cupboard ;)

poor Sofie downs the lot, then in a sick twist posts the act on social media, then to make things worse a bunch of enabling people message her about how hilarious and transgressive she's being for doing all that!

Speaking of mental gymnastics I’m not sure if anyone read this thread she shared earlier. My brain hurt after the second slide, such word salad 😳
‘Word salad’ 🤣🤣🤣
There’s so many things to say about this thread but firstly why the need to overcomplicate things so much.... maybe some straight couples just like that?! God forbid it might be the man likes to submit to his girlfriend during anal sex. It ,of course ,must be transphobia 🙄
Also dildos and strapons are no different from a penis 😱?I was under the impression they were just sex toys that are shaped to fit an anus or vagina... 🤣🤣

I'm interested to know how she thinks she can 'make this right' now that she has 'done the work' :ROFLMAO:

Perhaps a donation to a North East based arts charity? Maybe platform a creative with the accent you've dragged?* Nope, doubt it, just more rubbish about how these dialects stem from Norse. I've just caught up on the stories and that rubbed me totally the wrong way. The fact that she has tried to justify it and get all academic about the roots of the dialects. *(FYI I wouldn't expect them to do those things but after-all they were the one that mentioned remedying the situation...)

Not only does it seem very holier-than-thou but a totally inaccessible dissection of it all. Taking something already inherently classist and making it needlessly complicated and trying to earn 'woke' points from it. Shut up.
Also after the whole tirade about 'not being an activist' any more! Sofie plays up being woke when it suits them so they can feel superior, but still gets away with dismissing people's concerns about other issues when they don't want to engage/don't care.

I can understand the desire to create a space that she enjoys since we're all spending so much time at home during lockdown, but I'm really intrigued that she seems to be able to splash the cash so much during the pandemic when so many other comedians and people in the arts are struggling to make ends meet.
I guess this is what she is using the £25 ticket fee for..

I think she said she was given it and another advent calendar as a present?! In which case, her friends are extremely generous!
Which friends? She has (had?) a long-distance friendship with Jes Baker. Poor Will Duggan drives her around for good gigs, but he gets paid to spend time with her.

When last did she see any friends or mention any friends? 🤔

Yup. Plus he's missing out on socialising with other dogs and being exposed to different people who all look and smell different. By keeping him at home because of his alleged anxiety, she is only making his anxiety worse.

Also, as others have pointed out on this thread, as far as aggression goes, sharpeis are unfortunately statistically not the most docile dogs and they are very strong and powerful dogs (hence NOT recommended for first time dog owners... Along with their many health issues).

Shein is appalling quality too. There’s always loads of it in our local charity shop with tags still on. I reckon people buy it, can’t be arsed to return it so give it away. It’s always the cheapest, static fabric with poor quality wonky prints. Sort of thing that probably looks OK for an insta photo shoot but is horrible to wear.
Omg I accidentally bought a dress from a charity shop and wore it to a wedding. It was a loose dress but everytjme
I stood up the whole thing cling to me with static. Will be taking it back to the chazza.
