Specifically about fatness/health, there are lots of good resources debunking that fat automatically equals unhealthy, unfortunately it’s just not spoken about as much. Sofie’s book covers this well in a chapter on health, also the book Health at Every Size.
The fact is what she said about Covid in this post is wrong.
Moreover, the BOPO speakers don't seem to differentiate levels of fatness like it's all the same. Fine regarding beauty and self esteem but not health. Same with thin people btw.

She knows Covid could kill her. That’s why she hasn’t left the house in over a year. Great time to commit to getting a dog that requires walking 2x a day. 🙄
It's just an invention from the veterinarians and their prejudices. Dogs don't need walks. It's a special dog anyway and Sofie knows better.

Sofie has shown ‘before’ photos of the flat and all the walls are cream/magnolia - now they’re all painted or wallpapered with dark colours and patterns! She’s going to have to do sooo much to revert it back before she moved out..

Where to start. An offhand 3 word comment is trolling, but stalking through someone's social media profiles to level a personal attack on their character to a massive audience isn't???

Also how dare she use 'you're obviously not well' to discredit someone, when her favourite excuse for her own behaviour is that she has mental health issues and therefore can never be held accountable!
I found the comment about him being Welsh hilarious, should that be somehow an issue that makes him have issues

A bloody Peloton?! Come on Sofie, you know that's an awful idea. Maybe Hank can have a go on it??

Someone MUST'VE asked her about not taking the dog for a walk, notice she doesn't respond with a defensive essay to those messages as she wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
her apartment must STINK, it is not like cats who use a litter tray... what does her dog do to go to the toilet?!

Tbh I think Sofie is too selfish and too attached to Hank to give him up easily, even if it would be the best thing for him.

It’s such a pity they were so selfish they just couldn’t wait until they were able to adopt a better dog for a first time owner, or when they were in a better mental health state to handle it. Obviously all dogs need daily walks and attention, but aren’t Shar Peis really high energy and need a lot of intense care?

I had to unfollow a while back, not interested in her dog, not a dog person (sorry) and it was constant! Asking questions and telling us every detail and thing she did and was doing with him but then tells everyone she doesn't want advice but the constant need for validation was annoying as fuck!

I had the same argument on a Facebook group the other day when someone was showing off their Shein crap. Apparently that’s the only place Americans can buy plus size clothing so you’re not allowed to point out it’s unethical or that poor women made your shit in sweatshops. Fair enough if you don’t care, just don’t pretend to be a feminist when you wear your poorly stitched crap that you think is ‘cute’.

Admittedly there are fewer ethical clothing choices as you get bigger, but they can be found. Or you can opt for second hand. Or just don’t buy loads of pointless shit if you never leave the house anyway.
And I think as far as things go she in must be THE most unethical and environmentally damaging fashion company ? I don’t know if anyone here follows/ knows about Venetia falconer (now la manna, still don’t get why she changed her surname for her husband but hat is totally irrelevant) but she posts a lot about this. The statistics about Sheij in particular are terrifying

Does she actually have any die-hard fans and followers? I always assumed everyone that is remotely interested in her, just tolerates her or maybe finds her relatable, as oppose to really loving her 'work'

especially as there isn't a clear guide of who she could share this with or why
It’s fucked up cos this data would be brilliant for her to put in a pitch deck to #brands and secure her work. She’d be the first to complain if someone had expected this of her, anyone filling it in is a fucking mug sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️

kinda rich of Sofie, as a white person, to talk about how being fat makes her whole existance marginalised... like c'mon, she will never experience the prejudice that POC do and it's offensive to imply its even comparable

tbh I think on some level she KNOWS she is more at risk but doesn't want to admit it...
I totally agree. I think it’s weird how a lot of plus size white people position themselves as being comparable to the struggles black and POC face

I feel like the pandemic has definitely made it worse, I mean that, I really don’t remember Sofie being like this before, seems to have gotten like this in the last 6-8 months?
I think I’m still a fan otherwise, and Sofie definitely says some valuable things in captions etc, but generally, following them on SM has been really off putting
yeah true, maybe it is just an effect of spending more time alone and on social media.. everyone seems to be losing it a bit atm

I can understand the desire to create a space that she enjoys since we're all spending so much time at home during lockdown, but I'm really intrigued that she seems to be able to splash the cash so much during the pandemic when so many other comedians and people in the arts are struggling to make ends meet.
It’s especially weird as Sofie talked quite a bit about how shit things are for the arts / comedy right now and the financial knock on of that.

I just... they put up the story about why they’re doing this and I know they know it’s an irrational thing to put all this focus on, but isn’t there anybody in their life to say, surely now more than ever is a good time to put the money you would be using towards these projects (even if you are scrimping and doing things cost effective it all adds up) towards a back up fund?
I’m torn because I understand we spend so much time at home our surroundings have a big effect on us, but all the same... like damn put it in savings instead maybe?
