unfortunately not for the majority of those who have dieted time and again. if you're in the 5% that have managed to maintain a weightloss for 5 years or more then that's awesome but please allow me to introduce you to several pieces of reading you might want to take the time to read.

this article by a PhD in nutrition links to some of the research also, its a really good read. I found it hard to take in at first but it's all there.
I can dig out some of the others too should you want more.
but robbie you're only at 6 months, we are talking about long term and for the majority of people keeping the weightloss off long term doesn't happen. that's not taking anything away from your ir anyone else's success of losing, the losing bit is the relative easy (if you can even call it that because its bloody hard work) part, its maintaining the weightloss following the exact plan that you were given to lose the weight in the first place.
you simply cant follow it the same way, you have to adjust what you eat again. as a target member I remember it well, being told to just experiment with adding extra b choices so that I wouldn't gain any more weight but the following week being told to reduce them.
