I was sure Ross Smith was mixed race as he had a very dark complexion on his photos, clearly they are filtered.

I heard his voice for the first time a few weeks ago, talking about swimming. His voice is monotone and so dull. Not what I expected it to sound like at all.The way sw ross makes a mountain out of a molehill ...he's just waiting for someone to say 'oh they fancy you'
His voice suits the way he looks… sleazy
Is he sleazy? I do think he looks it but haven’t seen very much about him.He sounds quite camp and witchy. Reminds me of sleazy David Walliams when he starts
My memory is shocking but I'm sure there's something in these threads about him sidling up to women who are off limits
I've done SW before and lost a good amount but covid did a number, so I started CC and love it, but my friend is doing SW and now I'm on the outside its so fecked up, I wish I could get her to see how bad it is but she won't be told!
i have recently attempted to dissuade my friend about SW but she just won’t listen and thinks I am just bitter because I gained back my losses.

I would dissuade them as they are a horrible, money grabbing, nasty organisation. Their £6 a week goes to gloating braggers who feature in the awful magazines.
I will keep trying for sure. On the plus side in this weather I am happy with my extra chunk. I did however accidentally lean on the heated towel rail this morning with my love handle after a shower and it reminded me of pork belly searing on a bbq.
Try and resist joining that rubbish, there are better things out there. Be careful with those towel rails. I am sure you look fab regardless. Slimming world promote Nicola gets slim at the weekend, I’d rather be a size 28 than look like death, that woman does not look good, I’m 20 years older than her and she looks terrible.

I totally agree I would not want to look like that and thank you. I have found some peace with myself yet it is always a battle. i don’t understand why she looks like a corpse though. Genuinely is it because she has actually had weight loss surgery and gone gaunt because whenever I lost weight before even with SW my features slimmed and I never looked unwell or like death.
A work colleague in the NHS had bariatric surgery via the NHS and she looked gaunt. They warned her if she doesn’t change habits she can regain the pre surgery weight. She carried a breville smoothy maker to work and would actually liquidise a KFC and McDonald’s on a Friday without fail. We were gobsmacked. She regained all weight plus an additional two stone. She got counselling and a very good male personal trainer who was very easy on the eye too and lost 7 stone and has kept it off. You need to address the psychology behind food habits before you consider surgery and I don’t think the NHS have quite mastered the problem. Nicola absolutely displayed signs of bariatric surgery as did slim Ben to Big Ben, when you know, you do know.
Snares who is mentioned here a lot, as excuse ridden as he is. I don’t think he has had surgery. I hope he gives up on slimming world, it’s damaging a young man’s health and it is sad to see. He needs a psychologist and support like my old work colleague to rectify his current state.
I‘ve never been a member of SW but a couple of friends of mine were. From how they talked about it all seemed very cult-like IMO.
She'll say oh I've put on or maintained because of a single 'bad' meal no hun that's not how it works!
It seems to feed off indoctrination.
Invite her out for lunch and watch her struggle to bf something free to eat before ending up with a baked potato with beans
