Thought I'd pop in as I went to the cinema on Tuesday with my friend and her partner. It was a "de lux" showcase, and I found it hugely annoying that the seats are sold in twos (with the middle arm rest removed so you can cosy on up, and swinging table arms either side). Ended up in a 'cuddle' seat next to a complete stranger throwing her popcorn into the air at every jumpscare Will be opting for the recliner seats instead next time!

Sorry I know it’s crap that there’s no options for singles, but this has seriously cracked me up !!! Not a cuddle seat with a stranger 🫣! I can’t stop laughing.

thankfully my close friends (who i mainly go out with!) aren’t like that and we go out really to enjoy each other’s company (and drink cocktails ) - but i hear you on other friends. a mutual friend once told me i was a terrible wingwoman because i didn’t look like i was “inviting people over”, i said sorry but i wasn’t sure why i was apologising

Oh I’m luckily in that it wasn’t for them and they wanted me to be open because you just never know and I totally get that but I don’t know how. This is where I don’t know how I would find someone when I need something there first.

Guys, I feel only you would understand how stupid this is. Long story short I was on this free counselling site talking about the fact that I think I’ve developed feelings for someone for the first time in my life (it’s a no go btw). I explained that I’ve never had these feelings and had been happily single forever. And the person replied “you need to get married” (not to this person I like, just in general). And “it’s the only solution” Great, thanks.

Hahahahaha WHAT!! What exactly does that solve?!

Just a little update for you all on the cocklodger situation. He has started moving things out. Some clothes and toiletries have gone. So I think he will be gone by this weekend. I’m devastated and feel sick but I know it’s for the best.

Yes! I think this is a very common concept for men these days. Most men don’t want to be settling in their mid to late 30’s even into their 40’s and I think some of this is that more people don’t want kids or want to live this ‘adventure lifestyle’ and they know they have the flexibility of having kids without a biological clock like women.

I did a little garden project last weekend. Bought the pots from a nursery, painted them white and planted some beauties. Can’t wait till they fully blossom.

I start lawn treatment this weekend. Living the life and very peaceful.

I got a Lupin from B&M yesterday and today I got another lovely plant from Asda. I forget the name of that one though

ladies. Let me tell you I believe I've successfully established a casual/regular but temporary fwb arrangement. This is a man on pills that help him last longer, who's .. had to do this professionally in the past.. so let's say that when it comes to sex it's everything I could ever ask for on paper but he can't quite get the job done. those are rare times
