This is what happens when you live in a social media bubble with only people who agree with you. When you step out of it, you get a dose of reality.
Spot on. The real telling part of his ‘wasn’t my fault’ whinging diatribe was when he wrote, “all the comments on my page were favourable and yet everywhere else it was a different story.”

Oh really, Simon? And I’m sure your mum thinks you’re handsome too.

Also lol just clocked this "a man who has a wife in the target age range"

Considering one starts having smear tests when one is 25, I'd be mildly concerned if your wife wasn't in the target age range

While I am, as a Jewish Londoner who's having a really crappy time of it at the moment, gutted to hear that this head is apparently one of my tribe, I'm also very heartened by the lovely posters on this thread who seem to understand, and give a tit about, the tidal wave of antisemitism sweeping the UK and the world. Thank you all.

On topic:

Simon Harris is a bleeping dick and surely no one ever thought Hillsborough was funny. Ffs.

At least there's a proper institution at least some of the way behind the formula now. Partly.

Slightly confusing though, as the Feed UK page tells you to email Simon directly and the mailto: link embedded within here is to the maccieswithoutmalice email account  but that's just nitpicky and with my "well that's an unnecessary admin headache" hat on

I was previously unaware of the "use your head and spread" social media campaign the NHS paid him to come up with, the actual charlatan.

ETA I would like to apologise to Simon, as he has ... A daughter

Exactly the sort of slogan you’d expect to come from a misogynistic wanker who thinks he’s funny. The only link between him and smear tests is that he’s a twit.

Saying that though, I’d sooner let a speculum near my nether regions than I would him.

Wow, Si. Thanks for the inspirational suggestion of serving my kids a bowl of cereal in front of the telly as a Christmas treat.

August 2021 was a GOOD month - more extracts from

I wonder, I wonder who authorized these payments and wouldn't it be normal to submit an invoice based on an hourly rate? They are all such nice round (and indeed juicy) amounts aren't they?

2021 was a very good year.

Good to know that as the country was suffering and livelihoods were being lost - Simon was doing so well.

Given he operates from a shed, in his garden very possibly in his undercrackers I can't imagine he had very many costs - unless of course, some of the money he received was destined for other "beneficiaries"

It's almost as if he must know someone at ECC who perhaps also had an interest....?

Taken as it is though, in 2021 he "earned" as much as the Chief Executive

How can a man who is earning this much money from the public purse, end up liquidating a limited company with £76k worth of debt including over £15k in unpaid PAYE to HMRC and a £21k Covid bounce back loan?

I work in the public sector (but not local government). I don't work in Procurement so am not 100% on procurement practices, but I'm adjacent.

There is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation for this, but I cannot find anything on the contract and tender summary spreadsheets - and I've been through a good few now, searching various things (incl. 'social media' 'videos' etc etc). My first thought was, maybe because it's an individual as a supplier - nope there's other individuals named. Second thought was, maybe the amounts? No, there's contracts for (in terms of institutional budgets, it is small change) as little as 13k.

I hope there isn't a reasonable explanation for it all. I want it to be as dodgy as it appears to be! I mean it IS really dodgy by the looks of things.

There's going to be lots of tweets about Die Hard coming soon now we are into the second half of November. He's obsessed with it. Can imagine him sitting watching it with his mouth wide open, clapping like a demented seal.

Saying the lines slightly ahead so he can show what a superfan he is.

I'd advise you to sit down, because this is a bit of a shocker.

We've got a ... new joke.
