The other interesting thing to mention here is that Essex County Council is a conservative lead council.

I just watched this. Holy tit it’s like a GCSE project. I’m genuinely astounded that somebody has given him money for this. I live in Essex as well! What a way to spend my taxes. The public sector really is a different world

I don't think it is necessarily about the public sector - I think it is covid related opportunism and I think he and his associates know it. Which is why he never, ever tweets about Michelle Mone - not that he has quite enough money to buy a massive yacht.

So his highly inappropriate and misogynistic slogan went down like a lead balloon with everybody except his tribal, left-wing extremist followers, and yet it’s everybody else’s fault.

All he did was come up with the idea in the first place and publish it. But it’s the person who let him do it that’s the guilty party.

If these people wanted their campaign to be successful, then they should’ve hired an expert on all things social media. Someone who professes to really have their finger on the pulse of viral appeals. They could’ve paid that person tens of thousands of pounds and relied upon their sound and professional advice, thereby avoiding a campaign that enrages larges swathes of its target audience.

Oh hang on. That’s exactly what they did. Unfortunately for them they got you, you bleeping moron!
