We were married for years, years ago, so this is a compilation I can remember that spanned a pretty long time.
Quincy jones is apparently an absolute delight (so random )
High Jackman is THE nicest man.
Gwyneth Paltrow, strange lady but very polite to all the crew.
Leo di Caprio is a massive weed smoker and apparently that makes him an incredibly boring dude, although polite and nice enough to everyone, nothing like the dynamic character you see in his films (he was another one who’s bedsheets had to be changed regularly when he had one of his supermodel lady guests with him )
The absolute worst are the Arab royals. Demanding to the point of absurd, they’d charter the yacht for say a month but before they got it they’d pay to have it for 2 weeks beforehand in a yard and be redecorated to their tastes. I mean, they’d pay for it and all but the level of luxury already on these yachts is just such an unnecessary extravagance. Then if you bumped into them, back to the wall eyes to the ground, head bowed. All that crap.
Honestly it’s the most bizarre industry, interesting, but bizarre.

I worked in mental health for a long time, we had rules of what was acceptable behaviour and how our service users were to treat each other and staff. No-one got to be a cunt and have that excused by their mental health unless they were in such a crisis that they didn't know what they were saying/doing and needed to be on section. I was at school with Hannah Waddingham, and she was horrible. Absolute bully. In fairness, it was decades ago and she may have changed. I certainly hope so, for the sake of those around her.


it was Streatham Hill and Clapham High School. In those days it was on Wavertree Road in Streatham, which is now just the junior school I believe. Had a hideous snot-green uniform back then. The former journalist Cordelia Kretchmar was in the same class.

HW's mother was an opera singer. Sang at the centenary service for the school at Westminster Abbey in I think it was 1987, though not sure on the year.

She was very pretty, good academically, one of the top dogs. I can still remember her rage once when she and a pair of her little pals grabbed my bag and started throwing it to one another so I couldn't get it, and I just started to laugh over how fucking stupid it was - and they were. Her face contorted with disgust and she hissed, "Why are you laughing?! This isn't funny for you!" I can visualise her that moment, all these years later. Silver blonde hair, slim, tall. Suddenly much less pretty - as if her personality was suddenly written all over her face.

That's actually one of the nicest stories I have of her. At least one of the rest, as I have no evidence all these years on, would be actionable. But yes, I remember her, and in my (clearly subjective) view, she was deeply unpleasant. To the point I shudder every time she's on my screen, or her name appears in print, all these decades on.

I've gotten loads on reddit. They're always erect.

Years back I was a mod on a wrestling site. I used MSN Messenger at the time and my addy was on the site so members could report stuff to me and I ended up getting a few sent to me. I asked people to stop, making it clear I wasn't happy but still got them so my mum suggested posting them on the board as payback. I asked the Admin and they were fine as long as I censored them a bit which I did. I made it clear if it didn't stop, the next time I uploaded the pics, I would have the person's username and MSN address posted along with them. A few thought I was bluffing and sent me other pics and had the cheek to act surprised when I did what I said I would, saying it was disgusting that I posted something private and I should be ashamed of myself etc but it did stop. You would never get away with it now and what I did would likely be classed as revenge porn but it worked at the time.

Anyway he was always getting charters from the very wealthy and most often, royals from the UAE etc. anyway occasionally he’d get someone famous joining.
Naomi Campbell came on somewhere in the Caribbean when she was dating some ludicrously wealthy Russian oligarch, anyway, it was common knowledge amongst the crew and mostly the stewardess’s who were responsible for cleaning the rooms and changing the sheets, that the entourage of young men with them were actually there to service his needs and she was always elsewhere. Anyway my ex said she was very up herself and rude, which the staff all thought ironic considering they all knew whilst she was demanding different coloured curtains in the cabin etc her boyfriend was getting railed by other blokes below deck.

Do have some other Luke warm tea from this time in my life if anyone cares to ask anything?!

I stopped shopping there when they changed the formula of my favourite product line "White Musk", and other favourites such as satsuma.
I couldn't believe how little fragrance every product I purchased had and the overall formula changed beyond recognition.
They have a nerve to sell items that smell nothing like they once did, and still label them "iconic brands".
I'm now stuck with lots of stuff I can't use.
Everything I once loved- just smell of chemicals with no lasting fragrance..
I think they forgot that often "if it ain't broke- don't fix it".
