Kyle from geordie shore (now on the challenge on MTV) doesn't do drugs at all, apparently it was one of the main reasons he and Holly split as she loved the coke. Her weight loss plan that she made a fortune from was pretty much just taking coke and going to Turkey for lipo and surgery.

I booked some models for a photo shoot, one I booked a lovely little boy called Rayn.

The little boy turns up with his dad. His dad was Lee Ryan from Blue! I've never been into boybands, so wasn't fazed, but loads of my female colleagues kept making excuses to come down to the set. 😆

He seemed very aware of the minor fuss and seemed to lap it up. He had a tinge of arrogance about him, but not enough to make me dislike him.

His little boy was impeccably behaved and we did the shoot quickly.
So was he called Ryan Ryan?

Yes. It was pronounced Rain. :)

I'm pretty sure he / the mum changed the spelling to Rain, or from Rayn. I can't recall. But it was Rayn when I booked him.

Hello. Newbie here. Loving it. This is my first post.

Due to my work in media, I’ve met tons of famous people and been surprised both in a good way and bad way.

Here’s some I recall:

Finley Quaye
Nice as pie in the interview, but an absolute tool when the camera stopped rolling. He believed he was much bigger and talented than he actually was. He was demanding, rude, arrogant and full of himself. He kept disappearing off stage mid show to ‘go to the toilet’, leaving the session musicians still playing onstage looking bemused. He also smoked a joint onstage, soooo rock and roll! Punters walked out the gig and some demanded refunds.

Scouting for Girls
An interviewer’s dream. They were funny, charming, chatty, really lovely and down to earth. Even offered me gin from their rider!

The Wurzels
Interviewed them year before last, they were adorable, very cheeky, offered us food and drink from their rider (we politely declined) and they even randomly made a joke onstage that my boyfriend had proposed to me! No idea why, but our mates fell for it too!

Stereophonics
I interviewed them before they were big, Stuart the drummer (RIP) was a total sweetheart, but Kelly the lead singer, completely up his own backside and very arrogant, rude and acted like he was above us.

Jim Davidson
I appeared on Big Break, aged 19. In the bumph from the production team, there was a stipulation that female contestants MUST wear a dress or skirt! When Jim came to sit by me for the intros he made comments about my “nice legs”, then looked me up and down and turned around to the other female contestant and male contestant and said “She’s won, not you!” pointing at me. He then slid off his chair in a ‘comedy’ fashion and you see my crossing my legs so he didn’t see up my skirt from the floor, this was all aired.

After the show (which I did win BTW!) we were all in the green room for a buffet, drinks and to mingle with everyone, Jim and John Virgo included. John was a total diamond, incredibly sweet and down to earth, a really lovely man.

I couldn’t stay, as I had to be at a gig in Camden and the BBC had put on a car for me to get there, so I went up to Jim for a photo before I left and he said he was really tired after filming all day and if I wanted a photo, I would have to sit on his lap, as he wasn’t getting up. So I somewhere have a pic of me gingerly perched on his knee, looking slightly worried!

Howard Marks
Really warm, engaging. Intelligent and funny. The second time I met him, he remembered me too. His wife was utterly charming and the opposite of who'd you'd expect to be his wife. Quite conservative, but lovely.

Chas and Dave
Consummate professionals, talented, charming, funny and gracious. Great story tellers. Humble and talented. Loved them.

Chris Moyles
I worked with him before he was famous and he was so arrogant and full of himself back then, acted like God’s gift around women. I am talking 27 years ago too! Put me right off him after that.

Manic Street Preachers
I have met all of the Manics a few times, Including Richey, he was so sweet, softly spoken and had time for all the fans. Nicky has seemed aloof on the occasions I have met him, but not unpleasant, just wasn’t that interested in chatting to people.

Sean is really sweet and chatty and James I’ve sat up drinking with him and the Super Furry Animals and tour crew on a Manics tour and that particular night he seemed agitated and was being quite short with people, sort of like he was there socialising in body but really not in the mood in mind. I was gutted as he was my hero, however, I have met him other times and he seemed very sweet, so must have been a bad day!

Johnny Borrrell (Razorlight)
I was interviewing bands at a festival and was told Razorlight weren’t doing press. So as I had just done my last interview, I hit the bar to play catch up with my friends. However, I hit the bar too hard and got VERY drunk during Razorlight’s headline set.

Just as the set was ending. My phone rang, it was a PR person for the band, saying Johnny would give me a 5 minute interview. I was so drunk, I could barely stand, let alone speak, I was slurring, kept repeating myself and the questions, Johnny looked bemused, but was very patient and didn’t react, bless him.

I can’t bring myself to ever listen to the interview, it’s cringe worthy, I edited down so that you only hear me slur one question, then Johnny talks for four minutes! Hahaha!

Chris Jericho (Wrestler and lead singer of Fozzy)
Pleasant enough, but a tinge of arrogance and talking about his band like they were the bloody Rolling Stones.

Paddy Considine (Peaky Blinders etc.)
Charming, softly spoken and friendly.

Dick and Dom
So funny, really nice and chatty, vile PR person though.

Oh and my friend worked for Katie Price years ago and said she had absolutely zero redeeming features in her personality. She was demanding, rude, arrogant, didn’t have the words please and thank you in her vocabulary.

I have loads more. But didn't want to bore you with an essay.
Please bore us! We’re here for it!

All the old GS lot are on drugs, saw them in a club in Ibiza. Sophie, Chloe, Charlotte and Hollie all on it. Charlotte was in a bad way I Think she got carried down the stairs. You’ll be hard pushed to find a z lister that doesn’t do them.
I've met Charlotte & Sophie a few times, out of their tits every time

Okay okay. Let me recall some more. I've tons.

One time, I was stood outside the London Astoria after a gig. Chatting to two band press officers who I was friends with. When Sarah Cawood (from The Girlie Show, it wasn't on TV any more at this time) walked up and stepped between me and one of the guys I was stood talking to, with her back to me. Completely cut me off mid-conversation to talk to my friend. I thought it was so rude.

I stood there with my mouth open and the other press officer nudged me, rolled his eyes and shook his head, then got a lighter out and pretended he was going to set fire to her revolting and childish faux fur back pack. 😆 Can't stand the squeaky voiced dwarf since that.

-----------------------------------------

Met Alison Hammond in a bar in the Midlands, she was on a date with a really skinny bloke. She was sooooo, so lovely, warm and chatty. I'd loved her in Big Brother and she was really happy to chat and have a photo taken. Lovely lady. Very genuine.

-----------------------------------------

I served Pierce Brosnan when I was working at Our Price Brent Cross. I believe he was filming some James Bond scenes in the multi-storey car park and he popped in on his break. He bought a James Taylor CD. In a weird twist, I'd found out a year before from my uncle that we were related to Pierce. Think fourth cousin or something. I didn't mention it in case he thought I was mental.

-----------------------------------------

Worked in Argos Borehamwood when I was younger. Used to get loads of EastEnders actors come in. Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den) was buying Elizabeth Duke one day when I was there. I also served Daniella Westbrook buying kids' toys, she's not much older than me, and I recall just how aged her skin was. Felt really sad for her as she was really lovely and looked like she had the weight of the world on her shoulders.

-----------------------------------------

I also worked part time as a waitress in a pub while doing my A' Levels. Crappy chain pub, food was edible and mostly bought in and reheated, nothing fancy.

I was assigned a table of ten one lunchtime, the older guy of the group was holding court a bit and his fellow diners lapping it up. He was really demanding of me, almost to the point of clicking his fingers at me (waving me over like a lackey), wanted dishes changing, ordering a few drinks then immediately ordering others when I brought them over, literally I was running around like a headless chicken at their beck and call. Way more demanding than other large groups. Just had this air of entitlement. Was rude, arrogant and looked down on me.

I sucked it up, remained professional. They paid up at the end and buggered off. Left an absolute mess on the table and all over the floor, no tip. Whatever, I cleaned it all up.

Two little old ladies nearby finished their meal and pay up, it was pensioner special on that day of the week, they loved their weekly lunch out, it was also pension day. They'd always pay and then place a pound each into my hand and close my fingers over it, say thank you sweetheart. Such adorable ladies, not very well off, but full of appreciation and grace.

This time, as they are paying, they were in awe that I've been waiting on someone famous. I had no idea who they were on about. The older guy on the big table was apparently a famous, former, Scottish racing car driver Jackie Stewart. Was very well known and rich apparently. I'd never heard of him. Looked him up after. It was him. Fame and money doesn't mean you've manners, or class.

Late to the Michael buble story but came across this on youtube -

Some of it is grasping at straws but other parts are definitely interesting to watch and also the comments from women with previous experience of domestic violence are quite telling about the whole situation.
He has a history of domestic violence. That song of his should be called I Just Haven't Hit You Yet.

Some more, I was out in Camden with my best mate who lived in Kentish Town. We were in a pub called the Good Mixer, when Amy Winehouse walked in. First of all I was shocked by how thin she was, pics I'd seen of her previously were from when she was curvy and didn't have many tattoos.

Anyway, I remarked to my friend about how thin she was, he said he was on nodding and hello terms with her as they frequented the same pubs and he whispered that she'd split with a guy who was a chef and apparently a decent guy and was now dating a drug addict (which later turned out to be Blake). Anyway, she was actually really smiley and friendly and said hello to my mate as she walked over to the bar, where she took off her boots, put them on the bar and like at a bowling alley, the barman took them and handed her back a pair of ballet pumps, which she put on. It was bizarre, she then went and played pool.

The Daily Mail seem to be borderline stalking Declan Donnelly at the moment. Maybe I’ve been reading Popbitch for too long, but it makes me wonder if there’s something they want to tell us but can’t about him? Or maybe he’s just paying the paps to stay relevant.

There’s a website called tag the sponsor and it shows messages sent from these girls discussing what they are willing to do. It really is vile! They’re agreeing to do the most intimate and disgusting things we’ve someone they’ve never met and have no idea who they are. There was also a article I read about women from third world country’s going missing, they aren’t paid as much but some end up murdered and buried in the desert. Like someone said a few posts up I too would rather be working a minimum wage job and still have my self respect and dignity. I’ve also been to Dubai, I really don’t understand the attraction, it isn’t as good as all these z-list celebrities make it out to be but saying that, they come home with a couple Grand where as I came back a lot poorer!
Catching up on this thread now & have been reading some of the posts on that website. I take it the guys messaging these girls never actually meet & get them to send their passport details over etc purely so they can expose them?

I kept my breakfast down as long as I could to have a look. Most of it looked like a misogynist mix of angry exes, former punters who thought their pro was getting uppity, and trolls working out how much a person would do in exchange for a free holiday and £70,000.

The pictures of women young enough to be my daughter sitting in a messy kitchen with their laundry drying in the background made me sad for them rather than angry or cringey. Not exactly a bunch of Heidi Fleiss’s.

But I digress, wasn’t Charlie Sheen introduced to future wife Denise Richards by Heidi Fleiss?

That's a good point, actually. Some of these women (not all, of course) could be desperate for money and desperation can take us to terrible places. Rich, manipulative men who get off on degradation deserve to be punished. The women involved may be complicit or there may be an element of force, deceit or intimidation. Not that I'm condoning any of the illegal sexual stuff.

Two sides to every story, even one as horrific as this. And if you get ripped off, beaten up or raped, who are you going to tell? You're effectively agreeing to potential blackmail if you say OK to illegal sexual acts. There's no respect, no boundaries agreed, so these women could be gambling with their lives.

Used to see her out and about in Camden. The change in her appearance was certainly extreme.

Her management in the Back To Black days embraced her being a duck-up - whereas her management in the Frank days didn't and covered it up. She'd usually be so incapacitated in the Frank days when abroad that more often than not, she wouldn't make it on stage. She just moved onto harder drugs later on...hence the skeletal appearance...
