Two more bits of secondhand gossip from when I was much younger:
1. I worked with a guy who did grunt level security at Buckingham Palace for a while. When about, Prince Andrew would allegedly keep inviting in high class prostitutes and get really nasty when a new member of staff would turn them away from the gate.
2. I went to school with the kid of a bloke who promoted for a chain of nightclubs about Europe in the nineties. Roman Polanski would always demand the youngest women possible to be sent to the vip room and would drop hints that they did not look young enough as a sort of code. The kid said their dad ended up having Polanski removed from one of his clubs and banned.

I don't think anything shocks me anymore after reading on here but also everything in the wake of Savile. It certainly makes you question your childhood heroesI’ve heard that as well from quite a trusted source who used to work for celeb gossip mags.

On one of these sites, a comment was left that said that decades ago, they had apparently been neighbours with somebody who was on the mailing list for the Paedophile Information Exchange. They know this because one day, a PIE newsletter was incorrectly posted through their door. This newsletter featured words of support and encouragement from z0e w@n@m@ker.

He did this purposefully so that whenever people search for “Morrissey paedophile”, angry articles about his comments will dominate, and any discussion of his paedophilic song lyrics (and any rumours fuelled by these lyrics) will be buried.

Re: The Dubai stuff. I went to meet a pal who married an Arab and lives in the middle east now. She was a flight attendant for a royal family. Got a rolex, a truck and im sure more. She never said she done anything, but I've always been suspicious. I went to the Armani/ Prive club and was accosted twice. Got offered £5k for my services, then the bouncer asked if I was coming back the next night. He knew some higher payers and would take a cut. Went to another club and they checked my Id. Got told it was to check my ethnicity as they didn't want certain ethnicities (ukranian etc) basically back to them thinking I was lady of the night.
I was quite shocked to be honest. Got followed round the mall. Felt like a Z list celeb. I recon it's cause my height (I'm 6ft) god help me if I'd been blond as well.

Dubai is such a strange place. I have family members who live there and they seem to live in a bubble with other expats.

My partner has relatives over there too.. and relatives parents go over to visit fairly regularly. Definitely seems like they live in an expat bubble. I’d be horrified and disgusted if it ever came out they were using escorts over there.
My kids want to go to Dubai for a holiday (!) because they watch those God awful Fizz Family grotbags on YouTube. I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Thankfully, as I don't do the lottery and have no intention of letting anyone tit on me (no amount of Vodka could persuade me!) it'll never happen. My cherubs will just have to suck it up (no pun intended!)

Just because you’re an expat doesn’t mean that you live in a ‘bubble’. It’s a big city, you can live a relatively normal life without using escorts on a regular basis
