There's a long history there and it looks like her mother is not all that different.
I've seen her irl, she's teeny tiny and wears a LOT of make up, plus her hair is 99% extensions. She was very sweet and friendly though (kids charity event in the NE). I think her relationship with the plank out of 1D was simply to conceive before time ran out. No. I mentioned earlier in the thread, I worked (not directly) on her ward and she was admitted to hospital, not ED unit. Worth saying it was specialist in infectious diseases too sooo...
I also dont believe the whole lesbian thing really... I think people want her to be this drug taking, partying lesbian but she's probably just really..... Boring.

They claimed she approached Styles gave him this big spiel how she loved him blah blah, but got the bums rush. Whereupon, she said the same to L.P, when H.S told L.P, they became estranged thanks to her stirring. L.P. actually shaded Harry Styles first solo record, which was very off brand for him, and showbiz types generally.
Although like of a lot of blinds it’s hard to believe them.

A man who went to school with her and knew her mother Shireen (a staff member on the school) has been posting on Jameela’s thread. Shireen has been replying to this man on twitter so he’s pretty much a verified source.
Apparently her mother is mentally unstable and not very nice, and he attributes her cruelty and mind games to Jameela’s development of attention-seeking, which was already becoming apparent in primary school. Shireen used her influence at the school to ensure Jameela was favoured by staff and treated as special. Meanwhile, she had unreasonably high expectations of Jameela and was cruel when she didn’t meet them. So she grew up with the entitlement that was inherently special, yet she could never please her volatile mother.
It’s easy for me to want to judge Jameela for her lying and nastiness, (same with Jack Monroe, another pathological liar I follow). But I do have sympathy and wish she would get help.
She may have been suffering with an eating disorder, and was using cocaine at the same time? I only heard that she had overdosed, but I know there were rumours that she (and Sarah Harding) were both doing coke at the same time.

Cheryl was mentioned on a previous thread. She definitely didn't have malaria, my Cowell connection confirmed that. As to what it was, eating disorder to coke I have no idea. The whole scene looked set up (given X Factor is scripted who knows). Someone did post a photograph of her trying to show her doing lines, but cannot find it now. 99.9% of the PR from X Factor is fake.
So basically her character in The Good Place is her, yet she still can't act.
I’m sure the poor lady who was working as a toilet attendant when that nasty witch Cheryl viciously attacked her would beg to differ that she‘s “very sweet and friendly”. And why is Liam a plank? It seemed to me that she was absolutely desperate to stay relevant in the media, and knew that Liam had a crush on her, and she went after him (knowing that all she wanted was a headline and a baby) poor Liam didn’t stand a chance!! Especially as we now hear that it was Harry Styles that was her “first” choice.
