I loved Ross and Rachel together when I first saw Friends as a teenager. But when I rewatched the whole show a few years ago I realised their on/off relationship was quite toxic and I thought Monica and Chandler were the better couple.

Yeah, I'm going to be the unpopular opinion but Chandler and Monica separately were always my least favourite characters, so making them the power couple of the show never sat that well with me.

She had her divorce escape all planned out, there was talks of her getting secret phones to speak to lawyers, she bought a place in New York so she could make plans from the underground garage, it’s all impressive as hell, but shows what a nightmare of a marriage it must have been for her. Cruise was completely blindsided by it.

I really like this detail about the days just after the divorce was announced, again, it’s scary that she needed to be protected from the Scientologists, but such a clever way to go about it.

In the days that followed, Katie wasn’t hiding. Yes - her dad really came off as superman in the whole thing - managing to get his daughter and granddaughter away from a Hollywood king and a cult like Scientology is seriously impressive.
