perhaps it's finally time they start acknowledging their mental health and accept that things like depression and panic attacks (even if you dOn'T fEeL StReSeD) are very real and it doesn't make you weak or less of a person.
It’s truly baffling to me that they have persevered down this bs ‘SiBo’ route in spite of so much contrasting evidence, and
especially given the fact that it is beyond glaringly obvious that Kurt is shouldering the absolute lion’s share of parenting. Throw in the prospect of a special needs child, and the fact that his wife’s biggest concern seems to be how big/smol she is at any given moment, and it’s a miracle that he hasn’t had a complete breakdown.
I work in a very high stress profession, and it is difficult to always acknowledge that you’re stressed or realise how it’s affecting you. For me, 2 massive give aways are my skin - I’ll get very characteristic breakouts on both sides of my face, near my eyes/temples; and (go figure) my digestion will be impacted. It doesn’t matter how much I claim I’m not feeling stressed, your body has a way of letting you know these things. I’m surprised that miss ‘listen to you body’ has been so quick to sweep the potential of mental stress or illness under the rug. Probably due to the fact that she’s the reason/cause behind it, and it’s easier to label it a mystery illness than to actually pull your socks up and parent equally, or pay for medical treatment.
