I wonder what the dad is going to have to say for himself, something is still making me believe that she was the main instigator despite those texts to her sister saying he done this and that, it's just a gut feeling mainly driven by her refusal to provide dental impressions, if she had nothing to hide then why not provide them? Either way they all deserve lengthy sentences or whole life orders. As for the uncle claiming to know nothing, why did he run off to Pakistan with them? That's not the actions of an innocent person.

Five years of text messages though to the sister. From when Sara would only be 4/5 he was already beating the tit out of her. As BB has 4 kids she was probably pregnant for a lot of those years.How much of a psycho is she is the big question? We already know US is violent and abusive.

That crossed my mind too. It seems as though it would be easy to provoke him into a rage, then she could just sit back and let him go. It seems really odd for a little girl to cut up someone’s clothes and hide keys as well, you’d think she would not do anything to prevent him from leaving the house if he was the only one being so abusive. As for the sister, she needs to be punished for sitting on that information.

Could even be both? I don’t understand how people like that think/operate. Like I can’t understand how US rang authorities sounding so remorseful (I think partly to ensure Sara got a decent Muslim burial) after the way he treated her in life. As much as I want to say they were just plain evil/subhuman and that’s that, there’s obviously some very complex characters and dynamics here.

So according to Wikipedia US was given custody of Olga’s kids in 2019. They hadn't been living with home since the marriage ended in 2015.

Yes I’m interested in the dynamics. Was BB convincing US that Sara had “a jinn” in her to manipulate him, knowing he’d believe that.

Pretty sure it was said by someone up thread that the accused would claim a jinn was part of this. Well predicted on that one. She was just tiny when this started. How could you stay with your own babies even if afraid of your husband when you see what he can do to his own daughter who was so small

It was me, can’t say I‘m particularly pleased about being right.
These people aren’t clever, but they were smart enough not to mention supernatural forces to the police, weren’t they.

BB had sent messages and pictures of Sara’s injuries to at least two of her sisters over a long period of time. How the hell did they just sit by and ignore it? Honestly, people have called out the neighbours for their inaction but this is far, far worse. These women, who were no doubt mothers themselves, knew exactly what was happening to that little girl and did absolutely nothing.

It feels like the stepmother blamed Sara for things happening, maybe it was an accident or another sibling but she gets the blame for everything that happens. How the sisters saw those those messages and said nothing I do not know. She was failed by so many people.

The more I read the more I feel everyone who inflicted, saw, heard, had suspicion of, had an opportunity to speak up, step in & save poor Sara yet no one did....... & I mean everyone!

You'd think that there should be some sort of charge for BB's sister, surely? Years of photos, texts, calls, messages and yet the only concern was covering it up and not out of fear or coercion but just for ease. Evil woman.

BBs sister is definitely culpable, she should be charged. I'm also wondering if her children are safe if she was so blasé about the prolonged torture of an innocent child

I believe both Batool and Urfan abused Sara, and Batool just pretended to her sister that it was solely Urfan.

I wonder if Batool sent those messages to her sister as a way of "showing off" about the abuse she had carried out, under the cover of pretending to be concerned for Sara. I also think she sent those messages as a way of providing a cover story that she was innocent, in case anything happened to Sara that they couldn't cover up.

If she really was concerned about Sara, she would have called the police/social services, and she wouldn't have gone on to have four kids with Urfan.

The fact that she refuses to provide dental imprints to see if they matched the bite marks found on Sara's body speaks volumes. There's also testimony from neighbours saying they heard her frequently screaming abuse and swearing at her children.
