He may have had braces and an impression was kept on file? I don't think they need permission in a criminal case if the evidence is already there whereas she refused as the evidence isn't readily available?

I get your point and you're right. Children still love their abusers. But SS don't rock up and quiz kids and take their word for it. They have leading conversations and play therapies.
They deserve to be locked in solidarity for their sentence. No privileges at all, just leave them to rot. I hope they are attacked at least.

It is absolutely VILE and sick, worse than imagined after seeing that update on the fb group!! Scald injuries which I'm assuming means water, worsened by urine when soiling herselfwhich makes me question, was she forced to stand for periods? Clear evidence of her being restrained by the feet as well, this case is the worst I've heard of yet, god I can't imagine that poor girls suffering.
She had collar bruising across upper chest/collarbone too according to an earlier medical expert witness. This implies she was restrained for long periods of time in a so-called 'stress position'. Given the injuries to the feet you mention two possibilities present themselves: either standing upright and restrained against some kind of rigid frame eg against the upright wooden railings of a stair bannister or crouched in a foetal position with the legs folded so that the backs of the heels are against the buttocks (either crouching or kneeling) - this would also cause any fluids to soak into the feet. The kneeling and crouched stress positions were used on Guantanamo detainees & are very painful - I have speculated elsewhere in this thread that her abusers had consumed some kind of documentary on Guantanamo or some documentary on maltreatment of PoWs and used that for 'ideas' on what to do with her, as a number of things coming out of the trial suggest this.
Does anyone know when this trial will resume? I want to attend, especially if they take the stand (and I reckon Batool definitely will, she seems the type).

I think it's going to be like the trials of the killers of Baby P and Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, whereby very little was reported before and during the trial due to the very specific, sensitive details and involvement/presence of other children, but after sentencing, a lot of detail came out.
For example very few people knew at the time that the male friend of Baby P's mother's boyfriend, who took an enthusiastic role in the torture of the poor child, was also a committed collector of Nazi memorabilia and a pedalo - he was living at the property with his teenaged 'girlfriend. Or that he had two snakes which were permitted to slither freely about the house and frighten the children.
This is all stuff that was restricted at the time because it could damage the trial and potentially mean a mistrial, but was reported afterwards (and he was tried for his pedalo ways separately).

Sara had months worth of injuries, so his defence here is beyond weak. There's also her dna and blood on a belt belonging to him isn't there?

If you were to believe that BB was terrified of US and that's why she stood by whilst this was happening why on earth did her sister do nothing? I couldn't sit by or say read the Qur'an and not do anything about it. I'd assume my sister was reaching out to me to help her do what she's too afraid to do. I don't believe BB was scared of US but this is what we're supposed to believe here, isn't it? This is the defence she's concocting
There is no way that poor child was doing any of the things BB states when in fear of being sick very badly punished. That calls into question everything BB has said so she is either the one doing the extent of the abuse or she's done the things she says Sara was accused of to get her punished. My Christ it's incomprehensible
