I think everyone wants to avoid being judgemental and say ah well if it's Sal's choice who can blame her... But she's there sleeping with men who will be treating her like dirt and it's really sad. The majority of escorts and sex workers are actually quite vulnerable and have various issues - I certainly did - and used sex to try and regain some control but ultimately its the men who have the power.
