I have reserved pity really, I recently saw a 21yo woman who chose to have a career on OF after leaving uni where she could have studied to be a doctor. Now she’s moaning OF has ruined her career
I will admit I find it really sad that women and girls would choose a sex work or influencing career when they have so many other options, because it’s in some ways easier to earn money faster. It’s not long term though is it, very few make enough to retire off it and invest wisely - Chelsea Ferguson has done but aside from some very famous porn stars and large influencers, how many women do you know who retired off it in their 20’s/30’s? A career nowadays is not seen as a long term plan with a pension, it’s get money, spend all their money on luxury goods and get free stuff.
Im a single mum who works full time in a career, I’m not better than these women who choose sex work but I honestly do ask of them whether you really are ‘giving yourself a better life’ or just doing it to make money to buy things you wouldn’t normally have because of the IG lifestyle. Like women do not need expensive handbags, surgery, Bentleys, lambos, range rovers, their kids do not need designer clothes. In April she said she was buying bunk beds as they were coming back… didn’t happen.
Last month she said she was moving into a 4 bedroomed house and getting them back… hasn’t happened.
