Exactly. I used to (and sometimes still do) watch Supernanny and her bedtime routine. 1st time: Place the child in bed and say it's bedtime darling and leave. 2nd time: calmly take them back, tuck them and say it's bed time then leave. 3rd time: say nothing and take them straight back to bed and repeat for as long as it takes. It will take a while for sure but Andrea will eventually get the message. Otherwise poor Eduardo will be getting even less sleep than he is nowHello to Jonathan or Anna reading here. Just a wee parenting tip. When you transition children to a bed they will get out a lot at the beginning. What you have to do is without talking to them CALMLY take them back to bed, tuck them in and leave them. Night after night until they learn getting out has no benefits. I’m not sure what you did with the other three but putting the side back on Andreas bed isn’t helping him learn the right thing to do. So when his big bed arrives expect a few nights of staying up later, putting him back but not talking to him and he will quickly get the idea.
They're getting him a bed as he's climbing out of his cot. They did take the bars off to make it into a bed but put them back on as he got out of bed too many times.Andrea is not even 2 yet, they aren't putting him in a single already, are they?
