I’m glad you’re reading this Rebecca, I hope you can see that your ‘influence’ is a privilege and that you should be using it for more positive things.

Stop being a drone to huge fast fashion businesses that don’t need any extra exposure and realise that you have the power to make a huge difference if you want to. This would ultimately be more rewarding than the constant cycle of ‘asking for recommendations’, deliveries and #gifted posts.

Also, you’re about to have a daughter and it would be an amazing time for you to re-look at your view of women. You play a very traditional role as a dutiful wife and you never speak up about womens’ rights or gender inequality and you’ve got to see that you’re way behind with all of this. Remember you’re an ‘influencer’, as you so boldly boast in your bio, so don’t just call us haters for talking about you - You’ve put your whole life out there for the world to see.

So many young women will look at your holidays, home and clothes and feel inadequate. That’s the danger of influence and you do nothing to mitigate it. You talk briefly about anxiety sometimes but you contribute to so many people feeling like they’re not doing well in life.

I actually feel really sorry for her husband. He looks like a genuinely nice guy. She definitely wears the trousers in their relationship. He probably has to do exactly what he is told and I doubt he has much of a say in anything. She said in her stories the other day that she’d been really horrible to him and felt guilty. After reading her tweets I can imagine how horrible she would be!!!
I also find her really annoying the way she discloses whether something is an ad or gifted. It’s either written in such small text you can hardly read it, or it’s written in white on a pale background which makes it impossible to read. Other influencers are so much more transparent about ads and gifted items. I find it annoying that someone who is extremely privileged gets given so much that she could easily afford herself. There are other influencers who are obviously privileged, but they don’t give the impression of being a completely unrelatable snob!!!!

This exactly.

For someone with so much already, she only uses her influence for more selfish gains.

More free/discounted exotic holidays, more free clothes, more free fancy cotton sheets and free bunches of flowers is all she seems to use her influence for.

And using her online space to put other woman down is inexcusable.

'Adele is pregnant how can anyone tell?! hahaha' and 'Eugh the thought of being pregnant (in the future) is even less appealing after seeing the 'bodies after bump' photos'.

For someone who mentions how she has struggled with anxiety and eating disorders, I really did expect more.

I echo all of the above. The Adele pregnant comment is something very rich considering she has suffered with eating disorders.

I’m glad someone took screenshots and I’m glad she’s reading here. Must be terribly hard to sit in your huge kitchen and have to dictate which baby gifts are free when you can perfectly afford it all in the first place ??‍♀

Jesus those tweets! Her true colours there beyond peonies, love hearts and holidays. What a vile person.

Also proves what a pile of tit Instagram is. There she is supposedly on an idyllic holiday yet she's frantically sat there scrabbling to deactivate her Twitter and reading along here.

She must have deleted in
The last few hours, I went on a major snoop this morning. Knew she wasn’t all sugar and spice ?

I don’t think she’ll publicly address this thread as she won’t want to draw people to it. Her tweets are inexcusable and she has nobody to blame for them. That’s her own words under her own name.

Body shaming women and new mothers is not okay now and it wasn’t five years ago either.

I don’t think she’ll say anything to her followers. I bet she’s silently fuming though, to think that people have separated the fact from the fiction. Not a genuine person at all.

I find it quite sad that she is on (for non influencers anyway) a holiday of a lifetime but she's watched Netflix, done online shopping and clearly read. It just goes to show that she goes away so much that it has lost its specialness. I couldn't imagine going away somewhere and doing such mundane chores such as shopping!

Haha, I couldn't imagine going away somewhere like that and having the time to read a forum about myself. For most people, going to the Maldives is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Obviously not for her.

Her tweets show what a horrible little witch she is. And yeah, she might have been in her early 20s when she said it, but considering she is only mid 20s now, it wasn't that long ago and I doubt she has changed.

I never understood that, away on holiday in tropical paradise but still watching Netflix? Maybe as Ive never had a holiday like that, but I couldn’t imagine wanting to watch box sets in a place like.

And as for the tweets, that really does show up her true colours like you say. She doesn’t sound as mature as she claims!

Yeah I don't understand the box sets either. Even when my husband and I were on our babymoon and I wasn't drinking, we were still out every night, enjoying the night life, walking on the beach etc. Even if they don't want to be out, I can think of far better things to do with my husband in a hotel room than watch tv ??

I think it would be depressing to go somewhere like that and watch tv hahaha. Why don't they snorkle or something?

Don't get me wrong I like a holiday as much as the next person but I just can't image being away as much as they are. They were no sooner back from what nearly a month in California, then I think they had a weekend away in the UK, then they're away again. There must be some level of discontentment that she / they are trying to fill with constant traveling. And it's even more ironic given all the work they've done to the house that they never seem to want to spend too much time in it. She clearly thinks frequent international travel is the status symbol to aspire to but as someone said upthread, you can have too much of a good thing and they can't possibly appreciate it for what it is now hence running back to the room after dinner to watch tv. By the way who do we think sponsored them for their Soho House membership. I would guess maybe Esther Coren?

I still can’t get over doing a sainsbury’s online food shop while you are on your once in a lifetime babymoon in the Maldives.

This. There's another IGer, not hugely known and I don't want to name them here (under 8k followers) and they mention on their bio where the next holiday is - often whilst on their current holiday! I see it as a form of anxiety, I don't want to begrudge them as they actually work for a living, but I do wonder if these people can actually enjoy being in the moment or whether it's a continual conveyer-belt thinking onto the next thing.

This thread has really opened my eyes. I’ve followed her for a few years now and although she doesn’t share much I got the impression she was a really nice yet shy girl who keeps things fairly private. I’m shocked at her twitter account but I suppose she didn’t expect anyone to come across it from years ago
