I'm just waiting for the Mummy Bones blog where she moans that her intestinal tract was turned inside out by food poisoning and she vomited up her skeleton, but it was definitely because of a complementary chocolate provided by her luxury spa and not the poisonous wildflower filth cake her braindead daughter made for her.
Can we somehow make this the next thread title? This is gold.

Have we already seen Ruby's "Paradisiacal childhood" pinboard?

That looks... unsettling to me. The photos with children make it moreso. I feel sorry for Ruby that she can't let go of childhood. Sometimes I'd like to go back to being a child, mainly because people I loved were still alive, and I miss them. But life's a journey and it carries you along, it isn't possible to go back. I wonder what happened to make her so afraid of growing up.

Damn. Thats actually pretty sad...
Personally I can't relate because I would absolutely hate to be a child again. The freedom of being an adult is something I love. Being able to drive and have my own space. Two things I guess she is actually scared of.

Sure, here is the link to her childhood board: pinterest.com/rubygranger8/paradisiacal/childhood/

It's not as easy to find because Ruby filed this board under her "Paradisiacal" board:

Wow. I could sort of understand it if she was missing her teenage years, for me I have some really funny memories (wouldn’t want to actually fully go back to that time though lmao), but the age she seems to reminisce over is like primary school age… it’s really odd!

It COULD be just the cosy Victorian no technology quill and pen aesthetic that often shows images of kids. Victorians were quite class divided- not sure there was much of a middle class- so more adult Victorian images would be ones of poverty or ones of really rich opulence, neither which fits a kind of cosy aesthetic. Victorian nurseries and parlours etc were all pink and blue and bonnets which is what Ruby likes :)

its still weirdddd tho

When she actually goes to Oxford it will be her fever dream 😂 since she is going for 1 year I wonder how many times she’ll try to fit in the word tradition, routine. Another movie she’ll be hardcore cosplaying is a testament of youth
Oh God I hope not. The idea of Ruby taking that book (ok, film, as we know she’s not ever going to read anything by Brittain) and turning it into cosplay is just horrific. She can buy herself a teddy-bear and call it Aloysius all she wants, but she needs to keep her hands off Testament of Youth.

But then she also goes and shares a picture of young boys at an “angry birds starwars roblox birthday party”…

We all knew she wants to be TWALVE again but the fact her idea of paradise also involves the 2014 Zoella aesthetic is almost worse

I think as she got older, she just got a peek outside her sheltered bubble and realised she wasn't the gifted and highly intelligent person she'd been led to believe as a child. She'd much rather believe the lie and clearly wants no part of adulthood, where she'd be challenged, have to work for things and would have to interact with people smarter than her wherever she goes.

She's only the smartest person in the room when there's nobody else around. She's desperately cocooning herself in her room doing everything she can to remind herself of when she was TWALVE, when mummy and daddy told her constantly that she was the most gifted girl who ever lived because she carried a book around the house, and private school teachers told her she was bright and special because she raised her hand in class.

It wouldn't shock me if the next use she found for her dusty sewing maching was trying to reattach her umbilical cord.

Same. I can eat cheesecake for breakfast without being told off, and I'm no longer scared of the hoover. Living la vida loca over here. 😝

With Ruby, I'm guessing childhood was when she felt safest and happiest. No responsibilities, always being top of the class, having parents looking after her. I think she feels insecure about many aspects of adult life. It comes across in the way she talks about relationships, her avoidance of work, fears about socialising, lack of direction etc. I think it's normal to feel some trepidation, but for Ruby it must be overwhelming if she wants to regress to that extent. I really hope she's still having therapy.

Also, that Pinterest board is still creepy af regardless of her emotional state.

She claims she got a table for one. But I refuse to believe mummy bones wasn’t there with her as well seeing as she seems to need her supervision at all times

I’m all for going out to eat alone (I do it often), but with my having worked in catering hat on, would I hog a large table ‘to write’ in a massive tourist hotspot during the Easter holidays, whilst ordering one of the cheapest things on the menu? No, I would not. Not that anything in Betty’s in cheap but come on.

it looks like she picked up her grandma's clothes and plays like a child with her old telephone ç. This girl will go from being a child to an old lady missing her early adulthood. Such a shame honestly.

She also has a Pinterest board called Pure Wonder, which is basically about being a child. I can't believe how caught up she is in her childhood and wanting to go back to it with every fiber of her being. She says she was bullied. You would think someone who was bullied would want to pull away from that era and move on. But she is just completely stuck in trying to be her youngest self while her body and looks are already screaming "I'm heading to my 30's while I dress like a bag lady" with her receding hairline and frail body, not to mention always looking pale and washed out. She is so twisted.
