I find it really strange that the planners do fall apart though. I've had loads of wee cheapy planners over the years from Tesco and TK Maxx, ring binder and non ring binder, and none of them have fallen apart on me. Why are Ruby's planners so faulty?
I haven’t bought one, but I suspect the paper quality isn’t great and with daily use, the holes rip around the ring-binding and the pages fall out. She’d probably be better off leaving out some of the useless pages (‘my twirling log!’, ‘books I’ve said I’ve read!’, ‘my traditional job log!’) and using the space to print the main pages on paper that’s a bit thicker.

I agree that Ruby is more likely to get into Oxford than the other studytubers. I imagine that she will have researched a lot about the ressources they have to offer, making Oxford a more relevant choice. To be honest, I sort of get her fixation on Oxford and if she does keep trying, well done to her for persevering. She doesn't live in the real world and I really don't think that going to Oxford will help her with that. But if her aim is to stay in a bubble then she is doing a good job of it.
In my opinion, it is her fixation on Oxford that may be the cause of them rejecting her for a third time. Her fixation is based on aesthetics and LARPing thru the halls as Hermione at Hogwarts. I imagine that the intake staff may feel concerned that she tends to crack under pressure quite easily, is not in touch with reality and has EXTREMELY unhealthy study habits. Her toxic productivity mindset is out there for all the world to see.

If by some miracle she gets in, it'll be the worst thing that could happen to her.

She won't have the benefit of Exeter's grade inflation to boost her grades and she won't have Blakeney there to do half her work for her.
Didn’t Ruby and Blakeney visit Oxford together not long ago? I seem to remember some pics possibly from that weekend when they read books in the camper van. I did wonder then if B had possibly also applied to Oxford, which would be terribly awkward if one gets in and one doesn’t …

I've just had a big brain moment. I'm like "hmm it's 17:30 already, where is Ruby's 5PM vlog?" And then I realised my timezone is GMT+1 😅

There’s a bit in the You books where Joe Goldberg lies down in the bath of the girl he’s stalking right after she showers 💀 Ruby better watch out if this guy keeps it up.

Makes me think of the outfit that the Duggars and the Bates made their children wear when they were going skiing to ensure that the girls are being modest and honouring god even when they are on the slopes.
Didn't Ruby used to watch the Duggars show (or a similar one) because she loved how "wholesome" it was?

What on earth is that pizza, it is the honestly most depressing thing out there. She could have easily gotten something with vegetables. It feels like an ed thing to me
Like no basil? No veggies? No rocke/arugula or balsamic vinegar? It definitely doesn't seem like a vegan thing

I KNEW SHE WOULD REFERENCE MONT BLANC BY SHELLEY, I'm mad at myself for not calling it earlier in the thread 😂

She's claw-handing her way through another VARRY ADDJOOKAYSHONAL history lesson on TikTok and it's wall-to-wall stupidity.

"I didn't realise why history was significant." - Ruby Bones, 2022.
This is not at all relevant to anything but that looks like a big spider on the ceiling near to the dried plants on the wall. As someone who is not a fan of big spiders I've often thought her house must have some Shelobs in it. Confirms that old houses are not for me.

it's a good thing that I don't make videos (of myself) because I haven't had a hair cut since August 2021. 😃 But I'll go get a cut soon. Can't start working in an office with that hair cut I have right now, if you can call it a hair cut. My hair is just ... fine and straight and boring. Not even wavy! But as a lazy person I don't want some fancy cut which needs to be redone every few weeks.

OT I just got the grade for my first Open University course, History of Literature I (Greek and Roman literature), and I got the top grade! 🥳
OT: That's awesome, congratulations! I wish I had access to your resources haha, I'm trying to read my way through them but some context comes in handy here and there. Are you enjoying the course?

"I've always kept my hair exactly the same length all of the way around and this loss of order makes me feel sick"
Now we know why Ruby is allergic to a better hair cut 😂 The loss of order would be just too much for her nerves. /faints/
