I mean… learning just ‘for the sake of learning’ is all well and good when mummy and daddy will allow you to indefinitely live rent free in their mansion 💀, some of us are quite literally just at university so that we can get a job and pay our bills. That’s how life works in the real world.
Justifying her vacuous existence and actually an extremely unproductive existance at that- me thinks. At close to her age I was working in a F/T professional health care job. I took full responsibility for the assessment, diagnosis, management and discharge of children on my caseload. I had to earn a living not parade about living a fantasy life cosplaying female protastgonists from well known books. I guess it's so obvious from my posts how much I can't bear Ruby's presentation of herself. I say presentation as I've no idea who the real Ruby is. Anyone know?

I've noticed that Ruby never talks up the Brontës, even though the sisters and their writing would seem to be perfectly aligned with her online image and purported interests. How does a supposed lover of literature, Victoriana, and moody atmospherics routinely ignore the Brontës? Too violent? Too sexy? Whatever the reason, I get the feeling she's not a fan, so it'll be interesting if she has to do some kind of academic instruction on Wuthering Heights.

It's super common for private schools in the UK to hire non-qualified individual's as teachers. As long as her background checks/safeguarding training is complete, I wouldn't be surprised if she is left alone to teach a class.

Praying one of her students come to this forum and tell us all about it. Patiently waiting for her to upload a literary/teacher/bookish inspired outfit of the day

Also another undeclared punkin proooductivitee ad on TikTok.

Not sure if anyone posted this yet so sorry if they did BUT I did some digging around this new teaching job she has and sure enough she is listed as a member of Academic Staff on her old secondary schools website!

This is absolute a joke. The order of staff is alphabetical but seeing her name under the title of Academic Staff makes my blood boil. I guess you can do anything kids as long as your mummy and daddy have enough money to send you to a private school and you play the role of annoying teachers pet during and after your schooling ends. UGH it's just so irritating because she has no teacher training/experience and yet here she is employed at a private school probably acting like a pompous know it all. I HOPE her students find this thread.
Real definition of it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. Ruby has no place in a teaching environment imo.

This whole extroversion is bad thing is getting weird now like I'm pretty sure everyone I'm friends with (and myself) need time to recharge after socialising but this just seems like a you problem Ruby. No one said doing things alone or non extroverted activities are bad, it would be better if you did things alone for the sake of it rather than have someone (probably mother bones) follow you with a camera as you talk about how socialising is bad.

I was her age when I started learning to drive and I only passed last year due to all the covid delays and backlogs. As soon as I started, I wish I'd learned earlier. Money and time were the main obstacles for me as I didn't want to spend all my (minimum wage) money from my retail job with an inconsistent rota when I probably couldn't afford a car anyway or have to constantly change the dates and times of my lessons. Ruby doesn't have those obstacles and I bet her area is easy to pass in.

She is gonna have a total breakdown. Jumping from not even tutoring to being the main teacher with no one to help her it can only end bad. I taught at a very little school, never more than 10 students at the time and I was losing it. Students not paying attention, me trying not to escalate things but ending with no self-respect left... And I had (some) teaching qualifications! It was my first teaching job (hopefully the last) and I did learned the hard way that a great student does not equals a good teacher at all.

Holy shit I just looked at her Tik Tok.
In her latest tiktok, Ruby says that the character of Cathy annoyed her. And ends her video by unceremoniously DUMPING the book off her bed onto the floor like an ungrateful little B.
"Oiy hadn't rad it since oiy was THARTEEN..."

Looks like she's been on Tattle again - she's finally aged herself up from 12 for the first time ever! Happy Imaginary Barthday, Ryoobee! 🎂

Also she's completely lost the thread of what timescales she's pretending are happening or what she's read even by her usual standards.

Untit798led.jpg

This is 'Bwock One of TWANTEE TWANTEE THRYEE' and yet...

Untit798098led.png

Um..what? So book one is vlog 2 of 4, even though she's uploaded 3 other TikTok book vlogs featuring different books this year? And this is book one even though she's pretending she read 9 books before this in TWANTEE TWANTEE THRYEEE? Make it make sense.

Someone has just commented on Ruby's video by saying about Tattle and Ruby has said she would value constructive criticism if people said it to her directly.
people have and do say it to her directly - she can’t take it.

She's definitely been on Tattle again.

After the discussion on here about her always being TWALVE YAAHR SOLD in every one of her random fabricated stories about how precocious and special she is, she suddenly, for the first time, told a story where something happened to her when she was THARTEEN.
I usually feel like having a good understanding of Ruby's personality traits and ways of thinking, but this is something I don't get about her. She comes across as highly concerned about other people's opinion of her (to the point where she invents an entire online persona), but she does seem to be able to cope with the fact that Tattle exists.
I was a bit like Ruby in the sense that I used to be unhealthily obsessed with other people's opinion about me (which btw I think partly results from you not knowing yourself and therefore only seeing yourself through the eyes of someone else) and I can tell you, if I had read such threads about myself I would have either completely vanished from the online world or I would have started to be extremely careful about not to "feed" the tattlers. So I'm surprised about this strange combination of mental instability and ability to keep doing the same shit despite people mocking you so much ...

Fuck a 40 min walk, she should learn to drive lmao
Really, she should get her license. If she can't fathom being able to handle city and highway driving, fine, but she should at least be able to navigate the country roads in her own neighborhood. How stressful could that be? I can't imagine living in the boonies without being able to drive. That's not just inconvenient, it's dangerous. Is she just going to rely on her mother to ferry her around forever? If she did nothing else with this "gap year" she should've at least done that---it might even have boosted her confidence and made her willing to branch out a little.

The fact that her mom is jumping all over her ass at 22 is so incredibly funny to me
Mummy Bones must be starting to lose patience with the Roobster. Like others have pointed out, Ruby has to tag along with them everywhere, and she barely leaves the house.

But, as long as Mummy and Daddy Bones indulge her, and her inability to grow up, nothing will change. Ruby has it made.

Rent and board free huge house and garden. She doesn't seem to help with housework and chores. A free chauffeur service. No pressure to get a full time job. No money worries. Of course she won't leave.

I'm confused as to why her LinkedIn states that she graduated in 2023. Did she do this to make it seem like she hasn't been out of school for that long? Or is it just a mistake?

Also, adding Trampolining Society and Harry Potter society (VP) is definitely not the kind of thing you add to a professional LinkedIn profile as an adult. I wouldn't even have added this to my academic resume as a teen. Lol.
This linkedin page just screams “I’ve never been employed before!”. If I was an employer, I’d not pay the slightest bit of attention to the fact she was VP of the Harry Potter society lmao, I’d already have clicked off the page at that point.

I dont think listing out the modules is appropriate either. Especially where she puts an explanation in square brackets about attending the class but not formally taking the module. Just because she is so studious and awesome, she sat in on the class out of interest. Like, what is she trying to say? And why? It comes across as try-hard
It comes across as plain weird. Why, at uni, are you not busy enough with your own course and learning so you’re having to resort to taking up a space in another course’s lecture?

She reminds me of those people at work that brag about pulling all-nighters or staying logged on in til 9pm thinking the managers will be impressed when really it just shows that you have no idea how to manage your time.

If I was a hiring manager looking at this, I’d be thinking if you have so much free time, why not volunteer/gEt a JoB?

The most problematic issue (of many) is that if she is teaching English, surely she should have an understanding of English, understand what words mean and how to put them together, and have actually properly read the books???
GOD, I've just realised she'll probably be teaching Wuthering Heights because we've had so many photos of it

Is she actually going to keep on doing the fake freckles as a teacher? A lot of this is going to be her playing dress up and acting or inspiring to be like Miss Honey or any other teachers that inspire the children, be that teacher that gets Christmas cards from students and be besties with them. It's good she's actually got a job and getting out of her bedroom but it feels so blizzare to me.
