She did say it was a solo trip, but that doesn't fit with anything Ruby's done previously. She won't visit local places without her parents, so I'm struggling to imagine her in Boston. That said, I think Boston is relatively safe for solo travel, at least compared to other U.S cities? That might be wrong though.
Yeah, she can't even go camping with her best friend without parental supervision, and she couldn't stay in Exeter alone for more than a fortnight, and that was a place she had 4 years of familiarity with. There's absolutely no chance she'll be flying to America and back alone and spending three weeks on another continent solo. Mummy appears to do nothing but spend all her time enabling Ruby's descent into madness, so I'd bet on her going.
Ruby posting very short, condensed 'a "day" in my life' videos on TikTok really isn't doing her any favours, and somehow makes her days look even more uneventful, full of mindless busywork and embarrassingly fake than her usual fabricated vlogs do.
It's only 1 minute long, so you'd think she'd be able to find one thing in her day that actually happened that was vaguely interesting and that she can show. But nope, it's 60 seconds of her usual "AND THAN OIY..." tell-don't-show dubious accomplishments which all conveniently happen off-screen and that there's no proof of, with multiple 'THOMBS OP!" shots of her smugly congratulating herself for those mundane if not completely fictional achievements.
And she's both pitched up her voice to sound younger
and sped it up.
She says she started reading and annotating "Paytohsim Posium", even though she's claimed to have already read it multiple times prior to this video. She claims she read some of the bible for some reason (I said it earlier in this thread, but with her renewed fascination with dusting off her old theology/philosophy coursework, I really think she's gearing up to reapply to start a philosophy undergrad degree again and delay adulthood by 3 more years).
She claims she planned another book she's writing, despite having not finished and certainly not edited any of the other 287 books she's claimed to have started this year. No evidence of this book planning is shown, she just waves a blank notebook cover at the camera (not a Ponky Ploddingtee one, naturally).
She says she edited a video in full and finished it. Now, you'd think she'd actually upload a video if that were the case.
She shows herself working on a Scotland holiday vlog on September 14th/15th. That was a week ago, and 10 days after the Scotland trip in question. Late to work on it, late to upload it, now presenting a week-old one-minute vlog as though it's new. She claims she does
tit like this all in a day to try desperately to make it seem like every day she's rushed off her feet, but it's embarrassingly transparent how lazy she is.
After
finally admitting that she doesn't design her own planners recently, she's back to embellishing her role in the business, even though she doesn't own it, doesn't run it, doesn't design anything and now does hardly any of the social media.
She claims to have two long meetings with "moiy stationery shop Onkin Poddocktifti" and "Pon Kopodtivtea". Either she's just founded two new companies or her language skills have somehow eroded even further. Even after watching a short video in which Ruby butchers the name of the business twice, her viewers are still none the wiser as to what it's actually called.
Whatever the reason for her being unable to not mangle the name of the business she falsely claims is hers, she doesn't do anything for the company, so there's not enough going on with her and Ponko's Podiatry to justify two long meetings.
She's only just managed to get rid of the last of the 3,000 academic planners two months after release (they used to sell out in a day) and her latest genius business plan - buying 300 washi tapes at retail prices from an Etsy seller, then putting them up for sale on a store where the minimum delivery is almost the same as the price of the item in the UK (£3 delivery for a £3.50 item) and probably more overseas - isn't going to turn things around.
After picturing herself all month gorping at the pumpkin patches behind her house, Miss "I AWHWLWHEYS SOPPORT SMWALL BUSINESSES!" didn't buy any pumpkins from the local farmers, and instead just did an online food order on Ocado where "OFFCWOARSE" she bought just a bunch of random pumpkin products to use as props in her assault on autumn.
Puree, burgers, granola bars - all things she could've made herself with locally-sourced ingredients, and making them might've been something resembling interesting and new "AUTOMINNAL" content for her. But nope, she just churned out another faked vlog and bought a load of "PONKIN" products online from a major supermarket, including granola bars despite having a horded stockpile of her "favourite" gifted, but never declared snack bars all over her house.
Then she brags that the archive that she borrowed materials from has requested a copy of her dissertation for their archives. There's no mention of which archive this was or any proof that it happened, but Ruby gives herself a smug thumbs-up all the same.
The archive also haven't even
read her dissertation, so if they requested it, it's not a "IT'S SO GOOD, WE HAVE TO HAVE IT!" as much as a "Okay, we'll look it over, just stop spamming our email inbox already!" Because given Ruby's history of trying to turn anyone sending her professional/academic correspondence into her own personal penpal, along with her goal to get essays published somewhere despite their questionable quality (remember that time she bragged that she was getting an essay published in an academic journal and then it never materialised?), I'd bank on her having harassed the living
duck out of the poor
b who emailed her the documents she requested to tell them all about her dissertation until they agreed to read it. Much like that time recently when she got "invited" back to school to give a speech, after an unrelenting campaign of begging them to let her do it.
And to top off all the
bull, she's back on the 'I'm gyowing to pre-tand tyo read a bock which is corrantly popular' wagon.
Ruby claims to dislike TV and movies unless Nord V.P. Anne are paying her to pretend she uses Netflix. She undoubtedly never watched iCarly or Sam & Cat, has no interest in Jennette McCurdy, Nickelodeon or the child entertainment industry and its sordid underbelly. She doesn't read biographies/autobiographies unless they're by or about her favourite Tory political heroes. She's just waving this around because it was either gifted (and not declared) or because it's popular right now and she wants a piece of the action.
And oh god, she's latched onto Gilmore Girls as part of her fake "AUTOMINNUL" aesthetic now. She doesn't have the attention span to make it through one scene of fast-paced dialogue, let alone the whole series. This will be another Call Me By Your Name/The Song of Achilles situation where she just shows herself with it every so often to earn popularity points.
